Marinette lives in Paris, France she thought she would alone all her life.  No one knows why but she rarely leaves the house.  She pulls out her journal to write in it as usual.

        Dear Journal,

     Somehow I have this feeling today will be different.  I am sure how or why, but I just sense it will be better for me somehow.   Well, have to go!

  Little did Marinette know her life was about to suddenly change for the better;  that is if she would let it.

    Adrien just moved to Paris, France recently. He had no idea how this might change his life either since he is usually shy around girls.

     The love story is about to begin, Adrien goes to park for a walk and sees a cute, blue-haired girl with her hair pulled back in pigtails. He notices she has a sketchpad with her. He thinks, who is this girl is she someone famous.

      Marinette continues to sketch and hums a  bit at the same time. She recalls so far she has gotten a sketch of the Effiel Tower, some pigeons, the fountain, and some lovely flowers. She stands up and asks,  "What should I sketch now?"  She does not say it to anyone in particular despite her words being out loud.

     Adrien once had a pet dog which passed away before the move, but other than this he has had few friends.  He has a nanny who is father's secretary that took care of him as a child, but he is not sure this counts though.  He is still shy around others though, but especially around girls.

    He stood a fair distance away so he could admire the girl who caught his eye from afar.  Some might say it was love at first sight for him.

    Marinette did not seem to notice him.

    For now, Marinette smiles as she packs up her sketchpad, colored pencils, drawing pencil and heads home.

      Luka sees Adrien as he stares at Marinette and smiles. He thinks it is about time someone notices my stepsister.  He recalls he and Marinette have been stepbrother and sister ever since her mother died, and his mother got married to her father.  He wonders if his younger, adopted sister Juleka would agree with his concerns for Marinette's lack of socialization.
