Epilogue: Perfectly Imperfect
"Hyung I can't find my tie," Jeongguk panicked as he searched frantically around the groom's room. There was no way he had forgotten it as he packed everything thoroughly last night.
He looked up to see there was no one in the room which made no sense to him as they were all here a minute ago. After looking outside, he dialed their numbers but there was no response which only made him upset. Why would they disappear on such an important day? Jeongguk wasn't much of a caller or texter and they would tease him for it, but they would never go that far, would they?
"Looking for this?"
Jeongguk turned around surprised, not expecting his bride to be standing in front of him. They had decided to stick to tradition though it was hard parting away from her, it was for the best yet here was his fiancee standing in her bridal robe, holding his tie in her hand. She smiled brightly as he noticed the mischievous glint in her eyes.
He bit his lips as he walked closer to her, trying not to focus on how the robe hugged her figure as he tried to grab the tie which she only made her move away.
"Let me," she waited for him to lean forward as she fixed the tie over his suit, smiling as she pulled away. "I must say, my groom looks very handsome."
"You shouldn't be here," he said while pulling her closer."How come you aren't ready yet?"
"I just have to wear my dress," she teased."I know your mind is elsewhere since you didn't notice my hair and makeup."
"Then you should know just how dangerous your decision is," Jeongguk whispered against her lips."
"Your friends will be right back now," she placed her finger to his lips, giggling with delight. "I was eager to see you so I pulled some strings and came here. I had some help of course."
"So you are the culprit who stole my tie," Jeongguk raised his eyebrow as he pulled back, crossing his arms.
"Maybe," she smiled as she moved closer, pulling him down to kiss him. "I love you."
She sneaked out before Jeongguk could add more which only made him shake his head.
"She never fails to surprise me," He smiled to himself as the boys entered his room once more.
"Had fun?" Jimin smirked as he sat down.
"A good man never tells," Jeongguk laughed then straightened up. "I would stay mad at you for what happened, but considering I liked the surprise, I forgive you all."
"It was cute so we had to go along," Namjoon patted his back. "You were so nervous so this was our solution. We need you to believe in yourself and well..."
"You listen to anything Cecilia says," Seokjin continued for Namjoon.
"I do not," Jeongguk defended himself as he got looks for it. "Okay, maybe a little."
They laughed in unison as Jeongguk flushed red. It wasn't that he had no opinion on the things Cecilia said but more that he trusted her words. The things she said always resonated with him and after two years of being together, there was no one else he rather be with.

"Look who we have here," Eira sent her a glare as Cecilia tried to sneak back into the dressing room. "Do you really think we won't notice when it is time for you to get your final touches on hair and dress fitting done?"
"Don't act like you weren't kissing Taehyung just a minute ago," Cecilia clapped back with a grin.
Eira gasped, "what has that got to do with you?"
"Everything since we are friends," Cecilia smiled as she got back into her seat to get the touches done.
"We are late on schedule because of this," Eira informed her as she sat down. "The others went to eat."
"I went for five minutes, okay? "Cecilia said softly, holding her hand as she knew Eira felt pressured to make everything right for her close friend." Jeongguk really needed me at that moment and a little sneakiness is fine too. Come on. Lighten up a bit."
"No more of it though," Eira warned as she smiled brightly. It was hard to stay mad at her after all this time together.
"No more of it until I'm married," Cecilia agreed. "I feel excited but also really nervous about it all."
"That's normal to feel," Eira held her hands. "You will take his breath away."
"I better after all of this," Cecilia laughed with joy as her eyes sparkled.
Everyone returned to the bridal room as the real party had begun with makeup supplies flying around along with matching the right jewelry. There was no forgetting the chaos but the memories mattered the most in this case.
While Cecilia was putting on her dress and getting the final touches done, the bridesmaids' all waited outside along with the maid of honor. They would be the first people to see her in her wedding dress. Cecilia held the flowers close to her as they were called back and she wasn't expecting the tears or the screams of joy as they all looked at her with fondness. Never in her life would she have expected to find people who loved her as much as they did as she walked closer, they all hugged her.
"I'm going to cry like that," Cecilia whispered.
"No, you can't cry," Eira quickly dissolved everyone away. "Makeup first."
Cecilia laugehd and hummed in response.
"We are so happy for you Lia, Bora added with a smile. "Do you still remember the fake sleepover I planned?"
"Please that was so embarrassing," Cecilia groaned as she recalled the events of Jeongguk's drunken confession. "Everything was so messy and I felt like such a burden."
"Not anymore though," Bora placed her hand on her shoulder. "It's better this way because the both of you are truly happy now. We can all see it."
"What were the chances that someone like me could end up with him? " Cecilia pondered. "Almost zero yet here I am about to walk and be his for life."
Just admitting it made a part of her queazy but she decided to hold onto the happy bits of it. This was a dream come true and there was nothing that could change that.
As she waited behind closed doors, memories of Jeongguk repeated in her head as she pictured the happiest moments when he was smiling the brightest, showing off his dimple. The memories of him singing to her to sleep or when he would hug her close when she was sad. All the times she had teased and even the times they had cried together and for each other made this relationship what it was and as the door opened and she got the first glimpse of her future husband, she was sure why she was put into this life.
**********
Time slowed down and the voices blurred just like he had been told, but no one could have prepared him for this moment as he froze in place awestruck that he had forgotten about what he was anxious about. His heart was racing for different reasons as he watched her walk down gracefully the flowery aisle. Jeongguk's whole life consisted of him being the main character wherever he went, but now he could appreciate someone new: the woman he loved. Her white dress sparkled against the sun as she glowed.
An angel, he thought. God, I'm so lucky.
Before he knew it, he had tears running down his face as he felt happiness overwhelm him. He took her small hands into his and he got a closer look at the woman he would marry. She was flushed beneath the blush as it only made her look more tempting as her eyes met with his, bright eyes that were fond as he wiped her tears away.
"You are beyond perfection princess," he whispered while holding her hand.
"If someone told me three years ago I would be standing here marrying Jeongguk, I would have called them insane as that was simply not possible. If I didn't believe in fate, I believe in it now because fate gave me you Gukkie. If the purest form of love existed, it would be you, my love. When you smile with your eyes first, when you laugh so much that your eyes crinkle when you hug me without me having to ask you, when you comfort me, when you accept me, when I see you work hard on days you don't want to, when you push me to reach for more when I'm sure I can't when you remind me each day that life is fun , when I see you perform, even when you fall asleep while I'm talking to you because you only agreed to it cause that's the only time we have together sometimes. All those moments make up love. You don't just love, you embrace love in a way that it's hard for me to imagine it any other way. You override my tattered heart and support me. You are my person, someone I can go to and say whatever I want. You healed me with not just love but your friendship. That's why I hope Jeongguk that I could be there for you and make you feel more special. The brightest stars in the sky don't compare to you and I admit it to all when I say I'm so damn lucky, " Cecilia went on as his hands grip hers tighter. He wasn't expecting a confession like this yet he couldn't stop smiling as she went on. " And I can't believe I'm saying this but I love when you tease me and our stupid little banters. You are a menace at times but I love you just like that."
The members cheered when she called Jeongguk a menace and though he could hear them all, he couldn't stop staring at his bride. The confession he would carry for the rest of their lives. He felt a bit nervous when it was his turn, but he was ready.
"People always think I'm perfect and have no flaws and maybe that's why when it came to love, I didn't think it could be so flawed. When I met you, It was clear to me what love really should be How something could be so imperfect yet perfect. I didn't have to perfect for you or put on a facade. With you, I finally understood why love was supposed to be simpler. You reached out to me and held my hand on days when I couldn't act like the Jeon Jeongguk everyone knew. I know you think you don't do enough princess, but I want to tell you just how wrong you are. I have seen you cry and shed tears. I have seen your frustration yet you would come to visit me anyway. You never once turned me away no matter how you felt so how could I not love you more? You always put me first no matter what. My feelings were your priority and I finally felt free. Free to share and talk and my favorite was doing things together. You are my other half, my soulmate and I know now that I was never wrong. Soulmates do exist and you are mine. I promise to support you every step of the way and I promise you that the promises between us are real. The galaxy that you speak to me about is you now. You are the reason I was able to move forward. You were my light and my joy and my reason to wake up every day." Jeongguk confessed as he could feel his heart beating faster as Cecilia's eyes watered once more yet he had never seen her smile so bright as she was today. " and to think it all started with a misplaced letter of yours."
He laughed as Cecilia sent him a playful glare, embarrassed.
"I tormented you a lot, didn't I?" Jeongguk asked with a playful glint in his eyes. "Don't worry though, I'll spend my whole life making it up to you."
"I don't need you to make up anything, " she moved closer to him, placing her hand near his heart as she looked up at him. "I just want to see you happy."
Jeongguk wasn't listening anymore as he leaned closer, dipping her in his arms as he captured her lips into a slow gentle kiss. He kissed her like she would disappear once he let go. Her soft scent invaded him as he couldn't get enough of her even in her scent held love, knowing he couldn't deal with strong scents. She was the embodiment of perfection in his eyes as he held her gaze lovingly. Her hand gripping onto his shirt to hold on and as he pulled her back, everything changed. That was his wife: the sun to his moon.
********************
Cecilia ran up the beach shore as waves crashed against her feet and she giggled, looking back to her husband who had been approaching her slowly. She had the entire summer with her new husband before things changed routes once more which was why she was looking forward to their time together.
"You are taking awfully long for someone who claimed he was going to win," Cecilia teased as she had her hands behind her back, walking backward slowly.
"Would you run to me if I'd asked?" Jeongguk asked as she paused in her steps.
"You know I'd do anything you ask," she smiled. "I rather not lose though."
"My dear wife, you won't lose," he said with a pout.
"That's not fair," she exclaimed, crossing her arms. "You can't look at me with your cute face and act like I don't fold every single time."
"What face?" Jeongguk played coy as a small smile slipped up.
She smiled, shaking her head as she ran into his arms.
This was the moment Jeongguk had been waiting for as he opened his arms, lifting her up. He could see the surprise in her dark eyes that lightened under the sun, but it soon turned into a bright smile as he leaned closer. Her gentle hands go around his face as she looked at him in awe.
"I love you," she whispered, lost in the galaxy of his doe-brown eyes.
"I love you more," Jeongguk whispered and he knew his wife would add more, but he interrupted by connecting their lips.
This was the kiss he waited for his whole life and there were no words to describe it. It wasn't something he could speak about, but it was something he felt: warmth.
Does this mean happily ever after? No, there was no such as that, but what did exist was Cecilia and Jeongguk perfectly imperfect through each step of the way which is why they were complete.

Bonus:
*Jeongguk's first poem to Cecilia*
Dear Princess,
You accuse of me traps yet yours I fell
My heart once blanked danced to your tunes
Oh dear princess, the pipe was yours
I'm yours now as deep it gets
Content to the tunes of heart you play

I can't believe I was able to finish this book. I was having writer's block and had his half-written chapter written months ago. Uni life was no help whatsoever, but I am excited to show you all what I have written and hope you all do enjoy it and it is not too disappointing.
I could always write bonus chapters if you all want :). There were a few things I wanted to add, but I felt I was doing too much. If I think about it, there would be some things I would change but it is all about the journey and this one is finally complete.
For some of you this would be the only book you'll read by me so thank you for tagging along. A big thank you to everyone who commented and voted, you all have no idea how much that motivated me to write this story. It was all thanks to you so Thank you.
See you all soon in my next book :)
Take care,
Sera
