Chapter 32: First Kiss

The sun stared at her in disappointment as she lazily gazed around, running her hands through her hair while her eyes had managed to catch her reflection in the mirror which made her let out a dry laugh. If she looked like a mess before, she looked complete trash with her tangled hair, stained black lines going down her cheeks and swollen eyes.

She groaned as she pushed herself off the bed and held her head, trying to balance her self on her feet. Cecilia took a deep breath as the dizziness died down a bit and she brought herself to the sink, grasping on the edges as she fumbled with the tap. The coldness of the water eased her thoughts and she cleaned up the mess on her face, before leaving the bathroom. Seven o clock. It was still fairly early as she fixed the bed and gathered her things, leaving out the door. Yoongi and Bo Ra seemed to be still fast asleep so she decided to just text them ,before exiting the appartment.

There were so many things that had to be sorted and she wasn't sure where to start, but she knew she had to meet Mr. Bang. With that thought in her mind, she got on a bus and headed to the building. Her mind repeated the words Bo Ra had told her the night before, "You make him happy". She wanted to shout, scream, cry and throw a tantrum at the fact that her life just seemed to be tangled into a messy knotted ball and to her luck instead of finding a way to untangle those knots, she found herself creating more. The bus had halted and she went through the gates, the hot summer hair blowing past her as she walked forward.

A sigh escaped her lips as she knocked on the door before entering after she heard 'Come in'.

"Cecilia, welcome," Mr. Bang greeted her with a warm smile, asking her to sit.

She smiled slightly and took a seat, fidling with her fingers as she wasn't sure how she should say it.

"I want to stop idol training," she spoke out, unable to look up from how fast her heart was racing.

"You won't have a place in the dorms anymore then," Mr. Bang informed her.

"I know," she replied as she bit her lip slightly. "I save some money from make up artist job so I can get a place now. As for the job here, I will keep it for now unless I'm not needed then I understand."

"No, you did very well as a make up artist for the comeback that we would be happy to let you stay on the job as actual workers," he explained while giving her a small smile.

"Really? Thank you so much," Cecilia replied grateful that she could earn some stable money, but her dream still lingered in her mind and she wondered if she would ever get to achieve it.

"Yeah," he gives her a warm smile. "You have been very helpful and your Korean has improved as well. I wish you the best of luck."

"Thank you," she said once more with a smile before walking out the door.

She looked down at her hands which were still shaking as she walked out of the building and headed to the dorms. Her feet stopped a few steps away from the door and her breathing got a little heavy, her hands were still slightly shaky as she reached for the handle and entered the dormitary. It was the same as always, the large living room in the middle with someone passed out on it, a couple of snacks lying around and you never knew what you might find along the way, but she had gotten used to it as the girls had been working hard and some genuinely just passed out which made her feel a little sad as training really meant long hours each day. She stumbled and knocked a bowl, making her groan annoyed as she fixed it and made her way to her room.

A huge smile formed on her lips as she walked into her room; to her left was her best friend's sleeping form cuddled into Taehyung who had his arms wrapped around her, holding her protectively. Trying her best not to make any noise, she tip toed to the closet and started to empty her closet.

It didn't take too long before she had all her things wrapped up and she forced out a smile, scanning the room once last time before turning around and was about to open the door when she heard a deep husky voice:

"Cecilia?"

She turned around and heaved a sigh, before placing a finger on her lips and signaled him to follow her.

Taehyung stared at her retrieveing form bewildered and rushed himself out of bed, following her outside.

"Where are you going?" Taehyung questioned. "Do you know how worried Eira has been?"

"I'm sorry but I can't stay long anymore," she said, her voice quiter than usual as she stared at the ground.

"Where will you go?" Taehyung asked still trying his best to process what was happening.

"Don't know," Cecilia said as she breathed out shakily. "I still have job here so I'll still be here but now I'm going somewhere far."

"What about Eira?" He questioned as he looked for a reason to make her stay. "She was so worried about you and you will just go somewhere else and even if you want to move somehwere, you can't just move in without looking for one."

He was right. She was being foolish trying to run away like this, but she had thinned out herself and staying more wasn't something she could mentally keep up with.

Taehyung watched as she ran her hand through her hair and she bend down, leaning her head against her bag. He could tell she was completely exhausted, but he remembered what had happened ealier and pulled out his phone, dialing the younger's number.

"Just stay here for a moment," Taehyung told her, moving back as he noticed her nod her head.

He stood far enough for her not hear him and close enough to see her as he put his phone near his ear.

"Hyung?" Jeongguk asked as he was surprised to see him call so early.

"She is leaving Jeongukkie," Taehyung replied softly, biting his lips.

"Where is she?" Jeongguk asked paniced as he sped up his car to get a chance to meet the one girl he was waiting to see since last night.

"Outside the dorm but did you decide?" he asked earnestly as he wouldn't let the younger anywhere near her anymore.

"I broke up with Yun Hee," he said outloud for the first time, a weird sensation filling him but he knew he wouldn't have had it any other way.

"You actuallly did it," Taehyung said with a smile on his face as he was proud that Jeongguk had finally made the discion to make himself happy for once.

"Yeah so hyung please keep her with you until I come," Jeongguk pleaded as he closed the phone with new found ambition.

Taehyung headed back and helped Cecilia off the ground, helping her sit on the bench in the park which had become second nature to her. Her breathing was getting shaky as she closed her eyes to calm herself down.

"Let's figure it out together, okay?" Taehyung stated gently as he sat beside her and a small smile formed on his face as he watched her nod her head while still staring at the ground.

Taehyung couldn't just watch her mope around and wanted to cheer her up, so he decided to divert her mind.

"So why couldn't the bicycle stand up on its own?" Taehyung asked and he wasn't sure why he would ask this but Jin's joke from yesterday was still clearly on his mind.

Cecilia frowned as she failed to come with answer and looked up to Taehyung curious now:
"I don't know."

"It was two tired," Taehyung said with a goofy smile which made Cecilia laugh a little.

"Since when you start telling dad jokes?" Cecilia asked with a smile plastered on her face as her mind had temporarily cleared up.

"Hyung told us one and it was stuck in my head so I just said it," Taehyung mumbled embarrassed which made her grin at him.

"You know that one date you promised my best friend is long overdue," Cecilia reminded him. "You hang all the time anyway."

"Yeah I'll take her out," Taehyung told her as he sighed. "I was waiting for promotions to end and I'm not around her all the time. Just sometimes."

"It's all good," Cecilia said with a smile as she noticed the defense in his voice. "Just don't break her heart."

"I won't," Taehyung replied confidently.

"Cecilia!"

Her head snapped towards the familiar voice and her eyes immediately watered as she stared at his form, unable to peel her eyes off. His fluffy raven hair bounced, his loose black shirt hanging on his shoulder along with dark blue jeans and a black belt, emphasizing his waist line; her eyes looked with his doe brown orbs and it felt like time had stopped as he was running towards her; their eyes locked together.

He stopped in front of her, panting out of breath and all she did was cry silently as she didn't know how much she could handle. His scent obliterating her thoughts as she dropped her gaze.

Jeongguk nodded at Taehyung, who immediately got up and left the scene before he casted his attention back on Cecilia. He noticed how she was staring at the ground, fiddling with her fingers.

"I broke up with Yun Hee," Jeongguk told her which made her snap her head back at him, her cheeks still wet from the tears.

"You did what?" Cecilia asked slowly as she couldn't believe what she had heard.

"I was serious when I said I love you, " Jeongguk said softly as he wiped her tears away, giving her gentle smile.

Her head was all fuzzy as she found herself leaning into his touch that she had somehow accepted would never be towards her. His skin was soft against her own as he gently dragged his thumb across her cheeks which made butterflies form in her stomach and her breathing hitched in her throat as she took a shaky breath.

"You don't know that," she replied to him which was responded by a sharp pain in her chest. "You just left her and maybe you don't love me."

Jeongguk lifted her chin up slightly to meet his gaze and she was left breathless once more, lost in his eyes that were staring intensely into hers.

"I loved her once but I fell out of love with her before you even came into my life and you showed me what I should have been feeling all along so please don't push me away," he said, whispering the last part out as he just wanted to be able to finally be with her properly.

Cecilia stood up from her place and she stared right into his eyes; she felt herself giving in to those familiar stars that twinkled in his doe brown eyes and her desire to know how it would feel to place her hand against his soft, smooth, beautifully tanned skin and she could imagine those big eyes softneing and his special smile just towards her. Her heart was pounding in her chest as she realized what she had been thinking was what she had done. Her hands had reached out and started to carress his cheek, her thumb gliding against his soft velvety skin felt better than she could imagine. She felt she would combust as he leaned into her touch, closing his eyes.

Whisps of his dark hair, falling on his face becasue of the light wind that blew that summer morning and she found a tear falling down as he fluttered his eyes open, meeting hers once more and her breath hitched as he glided his thumb across her cheek, wiping away the tear.

"This is real," Jeongguk told her as his lips curved into a beautiful smile.

"It can't be real," she spoke, her voice low. "You were supposed be married and the media. Your reputation... I have nothing."

"We will get through this togther," Jeongguk said confidently as he held her hand. "The media will not know about you until you are ready for anyone to know and I know you are confused about this, but what I feel for you is very real, and the first decion I'm sure about in a while. You are worried about Medical university right?"

Cecilia nodded her head as she knew she couldn't trust her voice.

"You have been saving money so how about I offer you a reasonable deal," Jeongguk continued as he kept holding her hand. "You can pay the medical fees with your money and I will help you as well so you don't have to worry."

Cecilia looked up once more and sighed.

"I can't rely on you this much," Cecilia exlplained. "I don't have place either and food? There is too many things and I can't."

"Stay with me," Jeongguk blurted then bit his lips. "I know it sounds too much and you hate being dependent or relying on someone for your education, but you are paying half the fees and you can stay at my appartment since I stay at the dorms most of the time and the other half of your money-"

"I will pay for both things," Cecilia cut him off. "For a place and for university."

She sighed as she run her hands through her hair, confused.

"I don't want to use you," Cecilia voiced out.

"Do you love me?" Jeongguk asked which made Cecilia snap her head towards him.

"Yes,more than you can imagine," she mumbled out, her cheeks flushed red.

"I love you as well and want us both to achieve our dreams togther," Jeongguk told her as he gazed into her eyes and lifted her chin once more. "You are not using me because I want to help you, and I'm offering this to  you. You have a job and I'm only making you stay in my apartment so I know you are safe."

"This is crazy," Cecilia said as she still couldn't wrap her head around this.

"I know it is, but where will you go?" Jeongguk asked worried. "I'm here now."

He walked closer to her and wrapped his arms around her which made her tense up in his arms. She eventually returned his embrace by placing her hands on his back and clenched on the material, burying her face into him. She could smell a light floral scent which would be shocking to most as men were associated with their strong scents but she knew how sensitive Jeongguk was to smell and his scent was a perfect representation of him. Strong enough to attract you but light enough to show his sweet sensitive side and boy was his scent comforting .

"Is it wrong I want agree?" Cecilia asked him as she inhaled sharply. "Is it wrong I want to be with you?"

A smile formed on his lips as he hugged her closer to his body, drawing soothing circles on his back and he placed a lingering kiss on her head.

"No," he replied to her. "When we both want this then who is to say this is wrong?"

She pulled away from his figure and looked up at him.

"Just for today, I want to just not think and be with you,"Cecilia said. "I don't want think about all the problems and be yours as a normal girl."

Jeongguk caressed her cheek as he gave her a warm smile.

"You are mine and I'm yours with or without these problems," Jeongguk said as he leaned closer to her face, his heart beating just as fast as hers.

"I'm yours?" she asked once more out of breath as their lips were barely apart.

"Yes you are Angel," Jeongguk whispered against her lips and before he could connect their lips together, Cecilia had pulled him close connecting their lips together and he kissed her back immediately moving their lips together in Sync and the once extinguished flame between them both was reignited and she felt alive; her heart beating so fast that she could hear it in her ears and those soft lips were so sweet that she couldn't believe he was real.

He pulled her closer as he couldn't get enough of the way her delicate lips felt against his. He felt he was breathing once more and he couldn't remember feeling absolute bliss in so long as he molded their lips and he felt whole as if those holes littered around his heart were full and complete. Heart pounding against his chest, he pulled away connecting their heads together as he admired her slightly parted lips and flushed cheeks.

"You are so beautiful," he said breathless, her cheeks turning a deeper red.
