Chapter 28: New Friendships

"Over here," Jade waved over to the girls looking around confused.

Cecilia smiled and nudged Eira who smiled as well; they headed their way to the pure white table lined with flowery patterned matching white chairs. The closer they walked, they realized who were the two girls standing beside Jade.

"Hi," a beautiful woman with perfectly straight golden brown hair, warm eyes, and the most lovely smile said. "I'm Bo Ra."

"I'm Na Eun," an equally gorgeous woman with the darkest chocolate brown hair, shining bright eyes, and a soft smile adorned on her features spoke.

Cecilia and Eira couldn't believe the girls in front of her. Just seeing Jade again was a hard thought to wrap around their brain; now they were faced with two more famous girlfriends.

"Nice to meet you," Cecilia replied followed by Eira who said the same thing.

"Let's sit down," Jade suggested as they went back to the table and sat around it.

"We already know a couple of things about you from Jade, so we won't ask you anything you are not comfortable with," Na Eun told them gently.

"Oh we don't mind you asking us anything, really," Eira replied, and surprisingly for them, until now, all of the members' girlfriends were fluent in English, making it so much simpler to convey their thoughts.

"Still we wouldn't want to bring up something that doesn't matter anymore," Bo Ra explained.

All of them quietened down and stared at each other in awkward silence. Time was ticking yet no one knew what to say as they let the silence linger along with their conversation. Then, they smiled and broke out into laughs.

"We are all grown-ups yet can't start a single conversation," Jade stated and laughed.

"This very embarrassing," Bo Ra agreed and joined Jade.

"I guess making friends is harder than we thought, " Cecilia voiced out and they all laughed even more.

"Are we even sure what's funny?" Eira chimed in trying to calm herself but burst out laughing again.

"I guess the way we are all stuck is funny, " Na Eun giggled and slowly they all composed themselves, a small smile on all their faces.

"How is it working in Big Hit so far?" Bo Ra asked curiously.

"It's actually fun mostly until the schedules get too much or any sudden requests come in," Cecelia answered back after thinking about it.

Bo Ra nodded as she listened along.

"What about promotions? Is Yoongi behaving?" Bo Ra asked thinking about her boyfriend who so happened to get mischievous sometimes which no one believed her about. Yoongi did keep to himself and was relatively calm and collected. They spent quite evenings together, but there were those times where Yoongi would tease her endlessly.

"I think he is the most chill," Eira replied confused with how Yoongi from all the boys could be mischievous.

"I guess he was messing with me," Bo Ra told them as a bright smile formed on her face, her eyes a beautiful caramel from the light. "He is usually closed off but he is really open with me about everything and we talk a lot and he told me he was causing trouble. Guess he was messing with me."

"Wait, Are you sure you were talking to Yoongi and not some Alien?" Na Eun questioned, controlling herself from bursting out laughing.

"So, far Yoongi has been the easiest to deal with for me," Cecilia told her. "Though it's scary how well he reads into people, but I believe you."

"Really?" Bo Ra asked, happy that someone actually believes her.

"Yeah come on guys that same chill guy is AGUST D and we have all seen Yoongi's sneaky side when he took Yeontan away from Taehyung," Cecilia told them with a giggle.

"Oh right," Eira said after she realized that Yoongi was as sneaky as the rest.

"So, who are your biases?" Jade asked curiously.

"I was wondering that too since you both are ARMY," Bo Ra added.

"Mine is Taehyung," Eira replied with a small blush on her cheeks.

"Oooo I see a blush," Na Eun pointed out and Eira blushed deeper.

"She has a date with Taehyung too," Cecilia commented and Eira wanted to run away from the scene, but couldn't as her friend had been holding her down.

"Really?" Bo Ra asked. "Taehyung finally found someone he likes likes."

"She is making a deal out of it," Eira tried explaining. "It's just ice cream."

"He doesn't ask just any girl out like that," Jade told her. "So it really is a big deal."

Eira blushed crimson as the girls continued to talk about how Taehyung would most probably pull her close and kiss her forehead or actually kiss her on the lips.

"I say kiss," Jade stated confidently.

"Taehyung gets shy sometimes so I will say forehead kiss," Na Eun said after a bit of thinking.

"I'm going to have to go with forehead too," Bo Ra added agreeing.

"Come on guys," Jade whined. "He would go for the lips."

"I will go with lips," Cecilia said excitedly.

"Guys let's change the topic," Eira told them, covering her face up. "Don't you want to know who is Cecilia's bias?"

The girls turn their heads and look expectantly towards her.

Cecilia fiddles with her fingers feeling heart drop.

What's wrong with me? It's just a simple question, not a marriage contract, Cecilia comforted herself.

"Jeongguk," Cecilia said with a small smile.

"Are you okay?" Bo Ra asked noticing how her face had paled.

"Lia, do you want to walk a bit?" Eira asked her softly and Cecilia nodded, getting off the table as she felt nauseous from the whole thing.

"Did we say something wrong?" Bo Ra asked worriedly.

"No, you guys didn't do anything wrong," Eira explained hesitantly as she wasn't sure how much she should say. "I don't know how to say it."

"I loved him," Cecilia told them as she took her seat again. "It's weird and you most probably think I'm mentally ill and I don't blame you. Who in their right minds would fall for someone they don't know?"

"No, I think I speak for everyone when I say I don't think you are mentally ill," Jade jumped in, not liking the fact that Cecilia was beating herself up for something she had no control over. If people could choose who they fall for and were able to stop doing that in an instant, life would be much simpler.

"I agree with Jade," Bo Ra spoke up. "You are not crazy and we don't think you are some stalker either. The boys wanted to help you so please don't think we will treat you any different."

"Is that why you ran away from your wedding?" Na Eun asked carefully. "You didn't want to marry someone when you loved someone else. I would have done the same."

Cecilia felt tears stream from her eyes as she nodded, not able to believe how welcoming the girls in front of her were. The fact that they rushed to her side and gave wrapped their arms around her made her feel normal and loved once again.

"Thank you," she whispered as the rest hugged her tight, pulling part after the noticed she was better. "I didn't mean to cry but I'm just grateful."

The girls smiled brightly at her.

"From what Jin told me-," Na Eun stopped herself as she didn't want to ruin the atmosphere, but Cecilia just smiled as if knowing exactly what Na Eun was thinking.

"What?" Eira asked curiously, voicing out the rest of the girls' thoughts.

"Jeongguk went back to how he was," Na Eun broke the news.

"Yoongi mentioned it to me," Bo Ra said with a sigh as she remembered Yoongi telling her about Jeongguk holding the razor.

"I'm confused," Eira voiced out and Cecilia just looked down.

"Eira remember," Cecilia said and Eira immediately remembered what they were told after being given the job.

"I'm sure Yun Hee will help him," Cecilia told them, but they shook their heads.

"She doesn't know," Bo Ra said with a sad smile."Jeongguk wanted to be perfect in front of her so he lied and the fact that Yun Hee believed that his faded scars were accidents still surprises me."

"Wait were you the Jeongguk's new friend?" Na Eun asked as she recalled Jin mentioning Jeongguk hanging out with a friend, but Jeongguk refused to say who."

"We were friends, but it could be anyone," Cecilia brushed it off.

"It is you," Na Eun replied. "He was happy because you were hanging out a lot."

"We can't hang out and we shouldn't," Cecilia stated as she closed her eyes, feeling her heart rip apart once again. Just the mere thought of him hurt, she couldn't imagine it. She wanted to run to him and tell him that she would be there for him, but she was bound in these chains that had locks with no keys.

"Yun Hee needs to figure it out and they should be more honest with each other," Cecilia added firmly. "They will get married soon and need to know each other so I think it's better you guys tell Yun Hee this if Jeongguk won't."

Eira held Cecilia's hand and gave her a small smile as she knew how much energy it took for her to say all of this.

"We tried but she is always busy," Jade explained. "We invited her today as well, but this time she had a date with kook so we dropped it."

"Let's talk about the fact that Na Eun is engaged to Jin now!" Bo Ra exclaimed making Na Eun all flustered.

"It just happened," Na Eun explained as the girls jumped in with questions over questions.

The girls continued talking through the night, forgetting the fact that they had just met.
