Cecilia sighed as she closed her eyes and gathered her thoughts to mentally prepare herself for the conversation she was about to have. Youra was always ready to eat her alive any opportunity she got, and all Cecilia could do was hope that somehow she would wake up one day and Youra would leave her alone.

She tried walking away as she didn't have the energy to ruin her day with whatever Youra had to say, but Youra hauled her back.

"I asked you a question," Youra told her harshly.

"I don't have to answer to you," Cecilia replied bluntly as she yanked her hand out of her grip.

"That's my sister's fiancé," Youra said with a smirk as she watched Cecilia tense up."I don't think you would like if I told her, would you?"

Breath in, breath out. It's going be okay, she thought as she shut out the taunting voice and it was getting really hard to stay calm with the way Youra was acting.

"Why would you ruin someone's marriage when everything is fine?" Cecilia asked finally losing it slightly. "We are friends Youra. F R I E N D S. Friends. And do you know what friends do? They hang out. "

"How can I not be sure you are seducing him?" Youra questioned accusingly. "He should be spending more time with my sister or even me than a little girl like you."

At this point, Cecilia couldn't believe the words leaving Youra's mouth. How could she just say those words so easily? Why would she ever destroy the person she adores' life so easily? Youra was taking it too far for her own selfish reasons and she was afraid that Youra was about to create a problem out of nothing.

"Are you kidding me?" Cecilia asked annoyed. "I would never do something like that and if you want to spend time with Jeongguk than just ask him, instead of bringing me into your family problems."

The rest of Black Rose had started coming out of their rooms at this point, and Eira looked worriedly at her dear friend.

"What's going on?" Mina asked confused.

"Nothing," Cecilia replied, trying to close the problem but Youra wasn't having it.

"This is not nothing," Youra huffed. "She has been trying to seduce Jeongguk Oppa."

The girls gasped and most of them stared at her judgmentally.

"I'm sure that's not true," Eira told them. "Cecilia would never do that."

"I saw her with my sister's fiancé and it's late," Youra told them all causing whispering between all the members and Cecilia couldn't believe that after so many days, they still didn't trust her, but who was she kidding they only saw her while practice and then she was always whisked away by other things.

"I'm going to see you later," Cecilia whispered to Eira as she ran out of the door as tears brimmed her eyes.

Eira ran out after her, but she had disappeared and there was no trace of her. She went back inside and glared at the girls.

"I can't believe you would say all these things!" Eira yelled angrily. "She didn't do anything wrong and she is away from home. Hoe could you! Have you lost all the humanity you have?!"

Eira didn't give them a chance to contradict her as she left the room and dialed her number in hopes that she would answer, but it directly told her it was switched off. Eira was very worried now, but she wasn't going to give up until she knew Cecilia was safe.

The simple dark brown bench was still there. It was exactly where she saw it last with a single lamp post as company. She took a seat as tears fell from her eyes.

"I should have never left home," Cecilia muttered to herself as tears fell. "I'm a bad daughter. My dad is sick and I left them, but I didn't want to get married."

She sobbed louder at that statement and continued:

"I couldn't do it. I'm so sorry mom. I'm so sorry dad. I'm sorry for hurting you for my own selfish reasons. I don't deserve to be here. I can't stay here. It's not right. Maybe I'm ruining everything for everyone. I'm just a burden."

She took out her phone and noticed the missed calls from Eira, but she ignored them as she opened the notes app and typed.

Dear Pied Piper,

Everything around you felt safe

You made me believe my feelings were valid

and I being the coy person I am, fell for it

I can't stay around you

I can't be near you no matter how much I want

Cecilia closed her phone when she realized what she had written.

"No no no," she mumbled in horror. "He shouldn't make you happy. It's wrong."

Her phone rang once again and she ignored it as she didn't have the energy to answer and she was surprised when her phone went to voicemail and the even more surprising thing was the person who spoke: her mother.

"Cecilia honey I miss you so much. Your dad misses you too, so please come back home. We are sorry for driving you away and we won't get you married, just please come back. I know it won't be easy, but we will try to figure out the whole money issue together. Your dad's treatment will take five years but we will figure it out. Please just talk to me."

After that, her brother mother burst into tears.

"Please honey, just talk to us ."

Cecilia burst into tears once again when the voicemail ended. She knew she was causing them so much pain and if it were up to her, she would be at home in her mother's arms but she knew the bitter truth: all the money was going to her dad's treatment. They couldn't afford medical university after paying for the housing and her younger brother's school fee. She felt helpless, but since she was going to start as a makeup artist now, maybe she could save money and try for medical school. This was the only way.

Eira was really mad at Cecilia for shutting her out. She had been searching for an hour and Cecilia was nowhere to be found and Eira was running out of places.

Just then Eira realized something, but she couldn't ask him.

Jeongguk always found Cecilia when she was sad, would he know? I can't though. He must be sleeping. He isn't free whenever we need him to be, Eira thought as she headed back, hoping that Cecilia would come back.

She sat on her side of the room and stared at the empty bed in front of her.

"Where are you?" she sighed sadly.

Eira placed calls every hour, but it seemed like Cecilia had switched off her phone as every call went into voicemail. A tear slipped down her face as she didn't know where to find her. The only option she had were the boys and she only had Taehyung's number,now that she thought about it, would he answer?

Eira placed a call anyway, hoping that Taehyung would answer, but he didn't which destroyed the little hope she had.

It had been three hours and Eira found her eyes closing. She wanted to go look for her friend, but her eyes closed and she dozed off.

Jeongguk was surprised to see that Cecilia was not in the practice room for the first time. She was always there before him, so it felt weird to open up an empty room. He decided to sit and wait for her, but after half an hour he decided to give her a call, but her phone went to voicemail which never happened either.

Is she okay? Jeongguk wondered as he texted Taehyung so he could ask Eira about Cecilia and when Taehyung texted him, he was shocked.

Cecilia went out and never came back to the dorm according to Eira ~V hyung

She is really worried ~V hyung

I'll go find her~ Jeongguk

Tell Eira not to worry~ Jeongguk

Eira wants to come~  V hyung

We can split up then~ Jeongguk

okay we will start at the park where she usually is at~V Hyung

Jeongguk ran out of the practice room and thought about where she could have gone. If Eira searched everywhere, where could he search? As he walked around, he finally realized where she might be and Jeongguk really hoped he was right or...there shouldn't even be an or.

He sighed in relief when he found her. She was right in front of him and she was okay. She was just sound asleep on the bench and he walked closer and bent right in front of her.

"Who hurt you?" he asked as he brushed a strand of her hair off her beautiful face. He knew she wouldn't be here for no reason and he couldn't imagine what could have happened to drive her in this uncomfortable position.

"Cecilia, wake up," He stated softly as he shook her lightly.

She opened her eyes and sat down as her eyes were still half closed and she struggled to keep them open.Jeongguk couldn't help but smile at how lost she looked. It seemed like she hadn't realized he was watching her and he knew after a while she was about to jump up or fall. She was cute like that to him.

As he had said, her eyes widened and she stumbled up to her feet.

"What you are doing here?" she asked as she fixed her shirt and her messy hair which she knew would still be messy.

"Eira is worried about you and you weren't in the practice room," Jeongguk explained to her and it seemed like the girl in front of him was still lost.

"I'm sorry," Cecilia mumbled sleepily. "I change and meet you there."

Jeongguk helped Cecilia up and decided to walk her back to the dorm. He was scared she would fall again at the way she was and surprisingly she didn't complain or say anything as Jeongguk dropped her off. He waited outside in the small living room as she got ready and texted Taehyung that he found her.

"Jeongguk Oppa?" Youra questioned as she went out of her room.

"Hi Youra," Jeongguk acknowledged, hoping she would go away.

"Were you waiting for me?" Youra asked with a smile.

"No," Jeongguk replied politely trying his best not to cringe at the situation.

"Oh," Youra replied as her smile dropped. "Who are you waiting for?"

"Cecilia," Jeongguk replied. "We have dance practice."

"Don't you usually wait for her at the practice room?" Youra asked annoyed by how much Jeongguk cared for Cecilia. She had already texted her sister about Yesterday and she had to add this to the list. Cecilia was trying to steal Yun hee's fiance and she wasn't going to let Cecilia get away with it.

"Yeah, but she was late so I came to check on her," Jeongguk told her nicely.

"She should be more punctual," Youra told him. "This is so disrespectful."

"She is always on time and I'm sure there was a reason why she didn't come early today," Jeongguk defended immediately.

Cecilia didn't expect to see Youra talking with Jeongguk when she went out.

I already embarrassed myself enough and now this, she thought as she rolled her eyes.

"I'm ready," Cecilia announced and Youra glared at her.

"Perfect," Jeongguk said and gestured her to follow him.

Youra walked up to her and whispered:

"Why are you dressed like this? Still, trying to seduce? Jeongguk will never like someone as short as you."

Cecilia just smiled and walked to catch up with Jeongguk, ignoring the little pain in her chest.

Youra knows exactly what to say huh? She thought.

Once outside, Cecilia found herself engulfed by Eira who hit her on her shoulder before hugging the life out of her.

"If you ever run away like this again, I will kill you," she threatened her. "This is the second time I lost you and the last, you hear me?"

"I'm sorry," Cecilia told her. "I'll try my best to not do this again."

"You aren't trying, you won't," Eira corrected her and Cecilia nodded not wanting her friend to throw a slipper at her. Cecilia wasn't going to take that slipper lightly. It had power.

The boys had been watching this situation in amusement. This was definitely a regular day at BTS's dorm room, but without them.

Both girls parted ways after that and went to practice.

Jeongguk didn't ask Cecilia anything during practice and she was pretty happy about it. She wasn't ready to talk about last night. It really seemed like good things were just not a possibility for her no matter how hard she tried.

The practice soon finished and Cecilia didn't expect to see Yun hee again, but there she was, right in front of her again and this time, Cecilia couldn't run as Yun hee diverted her attention to her right after greeting her fiancé.

"You must be Cecilia," Yun hee told her with a fake smile. "It's so nice to meet you."

Cecilia was surprised but Jeongguk was even more as he knew his fiancée didn't like Cecilia one bit.

"Nice meet you too," Cecilia replied with a smile. Yun hee seemed as nice as she was on television and Cecilia wished there was a reason to not like her, but so far she didn't seem to be mean at all.

"Kookie told me that you are a talented dancer," Yun hee gushed. "You must be pretty amazing. How did you learn?"

"By myself and now Jeongguk helping me," Cecilia told her kindly.

"Jeongguk? I can see your Korean is not that good so I guess you don't know that you shouldn't call him Jeongguk," Yun hee said as she was shocked to hear the first name basis. "You should call him Jeongguk-nim at least."

"Jeongguk gave me permission to call him by his name," Cecilia replied politely.

"Yeah I did," Jeongguk supported.

"Oh that's so sweet of you baby," Yun hee stated, her smile not reaching her eyes as jealousy coursed through her veins. She thought that maybe if she became friends with Cecilia, she would understand Jeongguk's weird behavior, but this was going to be harder than she thought.

"I have go," Cecilia told them as she bowed.

"This was the last practice since the comeback is tomorrow so I'll see you around then. Good luck! Fighting!" She added with a smile as she left the practice room.

Jeongguk waved at her and smiled brightly as he made the gesture for  'fighting'.

"So, what brings you here?" Jeongguk asked as he hugged his fiancée.

"Do you hug her like this too?" she asked hurt and Jeongguk turned her around and looked into her eyes.

"What are you talking about?" Jeongguk asked in shock.

"You guys seem so close and Youra told me you were out with her late again," Yun hee explained.

"I guess we have gotten closer and we were out because we ditched a game," Jeongguk told her. "Just ask me instead of relying on other information."

"You don't even go out with me that much these days and even Youra doesn't call you Jeongguk," Yun hee said as she was still not convinced about the whole situation and she was worried about losing her fiancé.

"She isn't Korean so I don't want to burden her and we are friends," Jeongguk explained. "You are busy and so am I and this was the first time I went out with her."

"Second," Youra corrected. "Remember the late-night outing from before?"

"That was because we were both up and heading to the same place," Jeongguk defended. "Yun hee, stop worrying so much and if you want to go out with me then let's go out now."

"I can't now," Yun hee said frustrated. "I have to go to work again. Tomorrow?"

"I have a comeback remember?" Jeongguk reminded her. "Yun hee if you want to hang out with me then you have to give me your time."

"You can skip the v live and go out with me," Yun hee suggested. "You already know how important these days have been for me especially now that I have been promoted. I want to open my own shop."

Jeongguk couldn't believe what Yun hee had just said.

"I would never skip an opportunity to spend time with my fans," Jeongguk told her. "You are always busy. When was the last time you were free? A month ago."

"Am I more important or your fans?" Yun hee asked upset. "You have been busy too. It's not me."

"We both are!" Jeonguk exclaimed. "This is important to me so please just stop Yun hee!"

"This is important for me too!" Yun hee yelled back. "I just want to be with my fiancé!"

"You think I don't want to spend time with you?!" Jeongguk questioned angrily.

Yun hee pulled Jeongguk into a short kiss as tears brimmed her eyes and Jeongguk kissed her back, but something had changed in that kiss. It felt different and Jeongguk wasn't sure what was different.

"I'm sorry," Yun hee told him as tears fell. "I know you always try your best."

Jeongguk pulled Yun hee into a hug.

"It's okay," Jeongguk told her, but he was also reassuring himself. "We are okay."

This chapter was not just draining for my characters but also for me so I hope I was able to convey all their feelings well.

Since school is off because of Covid 19, I guess you will see more of me for a while.
