♪♫~Second Movement~♫♪
"Lets start from the beginning," The mysterious boy started. His expression was unchanging, but his voice held a quality that sounded almost whimsical. He was obviously amused with my confusion... Jerk...
"Please do," I sat criss-crossed on the ground in front of the man, and looked up at him with expectant eyes.
He looked me straight in the eyes, "I'll keep it simple. You aren't normal. At least, not anymore," He made a strange expression, "The life you've lived until now is a lie. The family who appeared to 'love' you has actually known who and what you really are for your entire life, and have been raising you to become the perfect Soldier of Music."
"Soldier of Music?" I questioned before remembering my promise-- Not to ask any questions. I quickly fixed my mistake, "Sorry!"
"You'd better be..." The boy remarked quietly before continuing, "Yes, Soldier of Music. You are someone known as The Maestro, more commonly known as The Pianist. You have an ability that allows you to learn how to play an instrument the moment your hands touch it. Why is this a dangerous skill, you might ask. I'll tell you!
"The music you play has the ability to control people's minds. You can control the wills of people who are meant to have a personality without fail. And the government wants to take control of that power and turn you into a Soldier of Music-- Someone who has no choice but to listen to the demands of higher-ups or else the innocent people around them will be executed. This is what makes you so dangerous, Cassandra."
"O-Oh my God..." I whispered, "N-No way..." Shock was running through my veins. Was it really possible for me to actually be an extremely powerful being that was hunted by the government?!
"Any questions?" He asked, amused slightly.
"Yes, actually," I nodded a few times, "Why me?"
The boy sighed, "I thought this might come up," He rolled his eyes up to the bright blue sky, "You because you were chosen at birth. There were no specific guidelines to who the Pianist would be, other than they had to be female with black hair and multicolored eyes."
"Wait, wait, wait. I don't have either of those... Well, I know I have black hair," His words confused me greatly. I knew that I had suddenly grown black hair, but adding multicolored eyes to that was too much.
"Take a look in a mirror," The boy held out his hand, and the glossy material appeared, floating above his palm. He tossed me the mirror, and I caught it with a soft touch. Shaking, I brought the mirror up to my face and stared at the reflection. The person in the mirror was nothing like the woman I'd known before.
She had beautiful black curly locks, curled as if a curling iron had been used to tame them. Her eyes were miscolored, the left eye was a bright grass green, while the right eye was a deep ocean blue. They were both flecked with a rich golden color, bringing out her true beauty.
This... it couldn't be me.
"That's... Me?!" I stared up at the boy in front of me, "You're kidding, right?!" I was still shocked by my appearance.
"That's you," He looked like he was about to laugh, "Believe it or not," He chuckled. I then began to study his face. He had dark hair and miscolored eyes, just like me, and another question formed in my head.
"What role do you play in all of this?" I asked him, my curiosity overwhelming me. Immediatley, the boy stiffened and glared at me with his oddly beautiful eyes.
"I... I am the reason why you are the Pianist, lovely lady," His eyes twinkled with an odd light, "I am your duet partner. I will always come out to play the harmony to whatever melody you come up with. In a way, I am your servant and you are my master," He laughed to himself, "But, the problem with me is that, unless you learn how to control my appearance, I will always come to play a duet, even if you are trying to prove your innocence to a government official."
"Why can't you control yourself?" I tilted my head slightly to the side. This man confused me to a great extent...
"I'm not actually sure of that myself," He muttered, "But it's true. I won't be able to resist coming to your side, apparently." He rolled his eyes.
"Um..." I slowly stood up from my seat on the soft grass, "Why do you look like me?"
"It is the image that was given to you as well a me, Cassie," The boy laughed to himself, seeming to adore his new nickname for me. I, of course, was annoyed by it, but I had more important things to worry about.
I stayed silent, trying to process all of this information that had been tossed upon me. Something wasn't sitting right within me, one question leading to another until I had begun to dig through my brain for answers. I knew that there had to be something that I was missing that would tie this all together...
Oh, right.
That.
"What's your name?" I asked quietly. I didn't quite know what to expect as an answer-- Quite frankly, you never know what to expect when it comes from this guy.
"Well, seeing as I can't give you my real name..." He placed his hand on his chin as if he were actually thiinking this through, "You can call me... Dio! That's a good name, isn't it?"
"Depends," I raised an eyebrow, "What does it mean?" I gave him an expectant look.
"I can't tell you that, silly child," Dio patted my head a few times as if I were four, "If I did, then all of my secrets would be given away!"
"Ugh," I turned away from him, "What a child."
Before Dio could answer me with a most likely rude response, the ground began shaking violently.
"Dang..." Dio whispered, "We're being forcefully brought out of this dimension. I won't be able to stay with you any longer. I'm sorry, Cassie... See you soon!"
And with that, my vision went black.

Coughing, my eyes shot open, instantly awakened.
"Thank God!" Mother practically pounced on me, "You're awake! We've been so worried, darling!"
"W-What...?" I whispered, then tried to sit up. Instantly, my head disagreed with my actions and throbbed intensely. Dizziness overwhelmed me, and I laid the back of my head back down on the pillow.
Wait...
The pillow?!
I surveyed my surroundings, and seeing all the white around me while inhaling the overwhelming scent of disinfectant, I assumed that I was somehow transported to a hospital.
"Why am I here?" My dry throat caused my words to crack, forcing me to sound not unlike a teenage boy going through puberty. My eye twitched slightly with the sound, but I decided against screaming internally.
"Oh, darling," Mother hugged me, "Do you not remember?" Softly, she laid a cool hand on my forehead, which I realize had been wrapped in a white cloth. It didn't seem like I had any hair... What had I been doing while I was in the other dimension with Dio?!
"Remember... What?" I questioned, but afraid of the answer. Somehow, there was something in her tone that frightened me.
"Cassandra..." Mother's voice whispered, "You've been in a coma for a whole year."

*3rd Person POV*
Just outside of Cassandra's hospital room, in an office, a private conference among leaders was under weigh.
"I say that we should take control of her mind immediately before she gets any ideas of running away!" A man with graying hair slammed his fist onto the table. He felt that if she was given any more freedom, she would find out about them and run away.
"I think that we should let her have time to get used to the government and joining us without being forced. Then, she'll be more compliant with our wishes, won't she?" A younger man who couldn't have been more that 40 years old stated in a deep voice. He understood the first man's way of thinking, but the subject in question was still only a child and deserved to have some rights.
"That isn't certain," A man with a gruff voice and a dark-bearded face spoke, "She might not agree with what we do, you know." To everyone's surprise, the man who had spoken was none other than Cassandra's father. Or, substitute father for that matter.
"You know her best, Oscar," Another representitive spoke in a voice that was so soothing that it could've been mistaken for snake-like, "Why don't you tell us what you think will work?"
"She's stubborn," Cassandra's father responded in a monotone voice, "And it is very well possible that she has already spoken to him, so it may be best to take control of her now before she runs away..."
"That's rather cruel of you," An unknown voice called out from the back of the room in one of the darker corners. The entire room's attention was drawn towards that corner, where the boy in the dark clothing with a hood covering his face could be seen.
"You!" The entire table of people erupted. They were enraged to see the being that had allowed the Pianist to evade them for so long standing in front of them.
"Me," He smiled slyly, "How are you doing? I'm doing fine, if you wanted to know. I managed to gather enough power to come out and talk to you all on this very fine day, which is exactly what I intend to do." He then walked up to the table, bracing himself, and jumped on top of the papers. His cloak moved around him like shadows, making him appear even more threatening than he already was.
"I'll cut straight to the point," Dio stood in the center of the confrence table atop all of the important top-secret documents, and spoke his mind clearly and directly-
"Stay away from Cassandra or I will kill you all."
His monotone voice rang out through the room, chilling the confrence members to the bone. From Dio's dark smile, they knew that he meant it.
Cassandra's father was confused, though.
"Why do you care?" He asked in a quiet but harsh voice. The question was spoken in a nearly silent voice, but Dio heard it just fine.
"What do you mean?" Dio raised an eyebrow, "She's my Master, after all."
"You have never cared about what happened to your Masters in the past," Cassandra's father stated, "So why do you care so much now? There's nothing different about her compared to the other girls before her, no?"
Dio's multicolored eyes darkened with anger, "I care because she's my Master! I have to protect her from terrible people like YOU!" He growled. Dio was enraged... But, what Cassandra's father shook him. Why did he care more for Cassie than he had for other Masters? Was it the way she held herself? Or maybe it was the sarcastic tone she always used with him... Dio didn't know. But, what he did know was that his inner compass was telling him to protect Cassandra no matter what.
"Hm..." Cassandra's father pondered what the had just said. He didn't know the reason for the boy's involvement with his adoptive daughter, but he knew that he couldn't just let him take the girl away. After all, she was important.
Suddenly, a sound of glass shattering sounded from outside. Dio's eyes widened before a smirk begun to paint itself onto his face.
"Oh?" He laughed quietly to himself,
"It appears that the Master is on the run."
