Sera was still with Liam, refusing to leave his side until everything was wrapped up at school and the boy could go home. Sera was talking to Liam about how he had been adjusting to being in a new school when Scott interrupted their conversation.

"Where's Kira?" He asked the two.

"She took off- Stiles told her about Lydia cracking the second part of the Deadpool." Liam said and Sera nervously but her lip. Sera hadn't been on the list and neither had her mother. Which meant they were either on the last third of the list or Kenna's death had been a fluke.

"...Her mom's on it." Scott says nervously. The second third of the Deadpool had revealed another twelve names, only one of which they knew.

"Everyone's on it." Liam said.

"You're not." Scott says to the boy before turning to Sera. "And neither was you or your mom."

"Not yet. There's still another third, right?" Liam asks Scott and the boy nods.

"Maybe we won't be on it because we're new to the supernatural world." Sera says hopefully.

"I don't know," Scot says. "You were always going to be apart of the supernatural world at some point." Sera nods at Scott's point, the one she was secretly hopeful no one would ever really pay attention to.

The next day, the minute that Sera got to school Mason was bombarding her with questions of Liam's whereabouts and unfortunately the girl didn't have any answers to his questions. The two went in search of Scott, hoping he might know something. He, of course, had no clue where his beta was so the three teens had to resort to asking coach if he knew anything; and that is exactly what they were doing.

"Sorry, guys. Liam skipped my class. Maybe he's sick... like me..." coach said and Sera sighs, anxiously running a hand through her hair as her, Mason, and Scott walked away from coach.

"Liam didn't look sick on our run..." Mason says.

"He's not getting back to any of my texts." Scott says and Sera checks her phone for the thousandth time.

"Me, either." Mason says.

"He's not answering my texts or calls." Sera says and starts to bite her lip, something she picked up when Stiles was being possessed by the dark kitisune. She was constantly stressed and needed a way to get rid of some of that energy, so she resorted to biting her lip.

"Yeah, don't worry- I'll find him." Scott says attempting to reassure his best friend. "But, text me if you see him." He says to Mason and the younger boy nods.

"All right." He says and walks down the hallway to get to his class. As the two walked down the hallway away from the locker room, Scott got a call.

"Liam?" Scott asked and Sera stopped walking to face Scott with a hopeful look on her face. "Where is he?" Scott asked the person on the phone and Sera stepped closer to Scott.

"Who is it?" She asked and Scott held up a finger to the girl.

"I'll give you the money." Scott said to whoever was on the phone and Sera looked at him confused. What money is he talking about? As far as Sera knew Scott didn't have very much money. "What do you want?" Scott asked them. "Okay, what do you want? You want me to go to Stilinski? I can do that. Or, I can talk to my father- he's an FBI agent." The person on the other end says something to Scott and he responds, sounding more desperate. "Then, what am I supposed to do?"

"What's going on Scott?" Sera asks and steps in front of him so he can't walk away from her.

"How?" Scott says to the person on the phone choosing to ignore the girl. "You want me to attack a car? That's your plan?" Scott asks and the person on the phone responds and then hangs up.

"Scott, what's going on? Who was that? And what money?" Sera asks.

"That was Garrett, he has Liam but he won't tell me where until I help him get Violet back." Scott explains and Sera raises her eyebrows at Scott.

"And the money?" She asks the boy again.

"I might have found a duffel bag filled with money in Garrett's locker.." Scott says hesitantly.

"And you stole it?!" Sera says and Scott shushes her.

"Yes, okay? It's a lot of money and my mom and I need it." Sera sighs and looks at Scott.

"Alright, well what are you going to do?" She asks.

"I'm gonna help him."

"Scott." Sera says disapprovingly.

"If it'll get us Liam back I'm gonna do it." Scott reasons and Sera nods.

"Fine. I'll start looking for Liam around town. Maybe I can find him before you have to help Garrett." Scott nods and starts to walk away.

"Let me know if you need help." He says as he walks further away.

"I will!" Sera calls after him. She watches him disappear around the corner and sighs. "This is gonna take awhile."

After Scott got a call from Garrett and decided he was going to help him even though it meant freeing a murder, Sera chose to go looking for Liam. She knew she might not find him on her own, or even if she did have help, but she'd already lost one important person in her life she wasn't about to lose another.

After driving down every street in town and knocking on any door she thought might help her find Liam, Sera found herself in the woods. Normally, Sera wouldn't go into the woods alone but, she was the phoenix now. Which meant she didn't need anyone looking after her anymore.

"Liam!" She yelled her voice starting to become hoarse from so much yelling. She had been at this for several hours and still hadn't had any luck yet. She was beginning to become worried. What if Liam was hurt? What if Garrett was hurting him right now? Sera knew the second question wasn't possible, Garrett was supposed to be with Scott, but it didn't help the anxiousness she was feeling.

Sera sighed as she looked around at the trees all around her. She had been burning holes into the trees she passed so she wouldn't get lost. She burnt another hole in a tree and kept walking, forcing herself to not give up yet. She couldn't stop until she found Liam, she couldn't afford to lose anyone else.

Sera's not sure how much farther she walked into the woods when the hopelessness really started to set in. She was absolutely terrified she was never going to see Liam again and she wasn't sure she could knowing Liam was gone and she did nothing to stop it.

"Liam!" She shouted again her voice almost completely gone. She phone had lost service about two miles ago so she no idea is Scott had gotten Liam back yet. Sera finally allowed the tears to stream down her face as reality set in. Unbeknownst to her, her eyes changed colors and fire ignited on her hands. "Shit!" She cursed and tries to turn and close her fists at the same time but the fire doesn't extinguish. She furrows her eyebrows in confusion and tries again. "This work the last time." She mutters to her self and begins to panic when she tries again for the fifth time and the fire doesn't go out. She shakes her hands around and accidentally launches a fire ball at a tree. "Shit!" Sera screams and waves her hand attempting to put the burning tree out. If she doesn't stop this the whole forest will be on fire. She tries again and again to put the fire out at the tree is engulfed in flames to no avail.

Sera closes her eyes and wills herself to focus. She has to get this right. She has to learn control. She slowly opens her eyes, her eyes glowing brighter and waves her hand putting the fire out and the top of the tree comes crashing down as the bottom half turns to ash at the sudden loss of the flames.

"Well that's enough forest exploration." Sera mumbles to herself and begins to walk back the way she came, praying to God that Scott has Liam somewhere safe.

Sera had finally gotten to her car when the missed calls and texts came through. Scott had finally found Liam. Sera let out a sigh of relief and get into the drivers seat of her car. Scott's last text said he was taking Liam to the animal clinic because he had wolfsbane injury.

When Sera finally got to the clinic Deaton was already cutting a thin line down Liam's chest as a puff of wolfsbane came out.

"Is he gonna be okay?" Sera asks and Scott, Deaton, and Argent look over at her.

"He'll be fine now." Deaton reassures.

"I don't want to keep watching people die." Scott says quietly, looking down at his beta.

"I'm not sure you have much choice about that..." Argent says.

"Maybe I do." Scott says and Sera merely watches the three converse.

"That's a lot of burden to carry, Scott." Deaton warns.

"I don't care. No one else dies." Scott says looking at Sera, who sends him a grateful smile. "Everyone on that list- everyone on that Deadpool- it doesn't matter if they're Wendigos, or Werewolves, or whatever. I'm gonna save everyone."

"And I'm gonna help you do it." Sera says and everyone else looks up at her. "No one else dies, right?" She asks and Scott nods.

A few minutes later, Liam had woken up and Sera had volunteered to take him home; which was where they were currently headed.

"How do you handle all of this and school?" Liam asks, breaking the comfortable silence between the two.

"You compartmentalize. You deal with the stuff you can and box up the things you can't. At least that's how I do it." Sera says.

"Is that healthy?" He asks.

"Probably not but, it's the only reason I've been able to do this for so long." Sera explains. "I've been helping Scott from the very beginning, hell I was there the night he was bitten."

"Do you think we're all gonna make it out of this one?" Liam asks.

"Scott thinks we will. And I trust Scott. If he says no one else dies, then no one else dies." Sera says like that's final. Like there no way there will be any other alternative ending to this story.
