To say Sera was nerveous to talk to her mother about finding out what she- they are would be an understatement. Sera was beyond nervous to tell her mother she knew everything. But as she walked into her mom's hospital room, she knew she had to be honest, at least to get her out of this bed and healthier looking.

"Hey, mom."

"Darling, what are you going here so early?" Sera sits down in the chair next to her mother's bed.

"I wanted to talk to you about something."

"What is it?" Sera took her mother's hand and looked down squeezing her eyes shut.

"I know... what we are." Sera looks up at her mother. "I know that we're-"

"You don't have to say it." Kenna said squeezing her daughter's hand.

"But you're dying. I can't just ignore this-"

"You can. And you will." Kenna hated to do this to her daughter, but this was the burden of the phoenix. Kenna herself had lost her mother when she was only three to the power of the phoenix. She had hoped Sera might be a little older when the phoenix finally left her and became one with Sera but, alas she had turned 600 this year and she knew she could die any day now.

"You can't ask me to do that!" Sera yelled standing up out of her chair. Kenna sighed, maybe a softer approach would be best.

"Sera, my darling girl, I know you. I know you'll want to find some way to save me. But darling, this is what happens; my mother died the day after she turned 500 I lasted another 100 years we got lucky."

"Lucky? You call this lucky? I'm gonna lose the only family I have left and then I'm gonna be put in foster care and sent who knows where!-"

"I've taken care of that."

"What?"

"You won't be sent into foster care. I've asked Melissa to let you live with her until you find a family or you turn eighteen."

"Okay, but I don't want a new family I want you. And I know someone who might be able to help. Scott's boss, Deaton, he knows how to handle this kind of stuff he might be able to fix you and then you can be the phoenix for forever or whatever and you can be healthy again."

"I'm afraid that's not how it works, darling. Once the phoenix starts to leave you... that's it. There's no fixing it." Sera sits back down, defeated.

"So that's it. You're gonna die." Sera looks at her mother with teary eyes.

"Oh, darling, I wish it could be different. But this is how it's always been... I was telling the truth when I said we got lucky. Most future phoenixes lose their mother only a few years into their life. I got to raise you, see you grow up. And everything I have ever taught you has been to prepare for this moment."

"I don't want you to go." Sera whispers, the tears she been fighting back finally falling.

"I'm so sorry, sweetheart, I wish I could shield you from this pain. But trust me when I say. That it will get better. I may not get better but life... will." Sera nods and hugs her mom. This will never be easy, life will never get easy but at least they have right now.

Sera, Lydia, and Stiles all run into the school. Stiles holding tightly onto his baseball bat. The three teens run into one of the berserkers and Stiles runs up to hit it with his baseball bat but it shatters.

"You seriously need to find something better than a baseball bat." Lydia says. Sera nods agreeing. They all run away from the berserker.

After Scott, Kira, Malia, and a now adult Derek came back from fighting the berserkers that randomly ran off. The pack all walked into the vault to find out what happened with Kate and Peter. They walked in to find Peter staring at an open safe.

"It was never... never... about the Triskelion. They took it. They took it while I was blind..." Peter muttered.

"Took what?" Scott asks.

"Bonds. Bearer bonds. And they took them all."

"Bearer bonds? Hold on, are you saying that you got robbed?" Stiles says amused.

"This was a heist! Somebody planned this!" Peter yelled, clearly frustrated about the situation.

"How much did they take?" Lydia asks.

"One hundred and seventeen..." Peter mutters again.

"Thousand?" Stiles asked, shocked.

"Million..." Well this can't be good.

And now we're really getting into the plot of season 4!! This is gonna be a rough few chapters but it should get happier.
