~Ed's P.O.V~

I woke up in a stone room, and looked around. "Damnit!" I say. "Where...am I?" "in a toucher chamber..." an all to familiar voice says. "Aya...me?" I ask, looking up at her. She nods weakly. "You look terrible.." I say.

It was true. She did look bad. Her beautiful white hair was greasy, and tangled beyond imagination. Her silver eyes were sunkin and lifeless. Her clothes were torn and dirty.

She came closer. I could see that her body was littered with scars, bruises, and fresh cuts, some of which were still bleeding.

It pained me to see her like this. She looked broken. Not just physically, but mentally as well. "Aya.." I say. "My poor Iris.."

She grabs my jacket, and I bury my face in her hair. "Ed...I..these people....they...I.." her voice broke. "shh..." I say. "Don't talk..."

She started crying. "Its okay...I'm here now..." I say. "I'm going to get you out of here. I promise that."

"So the lovers are together at last?" the A person asks. He steps into the light. "The famous Phoenix Metal has her lover again. How sweet." Aya shrinks back, trying to hide from this man. She starts to tremble.

"Who are you?" I ask, "and what have you done to Ayame!?" the man smirks. "Oh, I'm sorry." he says. "My name is Katsu Itami. What I have done to your precious girlfriend is none of your buissness."

"It IS my business!" I yell. "Whatever happens to Ayame I want to know!" his smirk grows wider. I stand, Ayame sitting behind me, scared. She's still clinging onto my jacket.

The man comes closer to me. I stand my ground even after he's towering over me. Then he's gone like a flash. Next thing I know, he's five feet from me, Ayame in a choke hold. "Let her go!" I say as I transmute my Automail arm into a blade.

"Ed.." Aya says. The man squeezes her throat harder, and she starts struggling for breath. "Aya.." i reply.
