~Ayame's P.O.V~ ~flashback~

I was sitting in my mother's lap. Ayaka, Aika, and I are in the garden. She looks down at me, smiling softly. Aika tugged on Ayaka's dress. "Mommy!" she says. "How long until we get to see the new baby? I wanna play with her!"

"Me to! Me to!" I shout happily. Ayaka looks down at us, her daughters. "My girls." she says, her voice as soft as silk.

"You have to wait a little while longer. The baby will decide when she's ready." I look away, dissapointed.

"Until then, I guess I'll go find Ed." I say, hopping off Ayaka's lap. "Oooooohhhhhh!" Aika says, smirking. "Aya's got a boyfriend! Mommy!" I look away, a blush forming on my cheeks.

"I do not!" I say. "It's not like that! It's not like that at all!" "ooohhh!" Aika teases. I look at her, upset. Just then, Ed comes running up to us.

"Aya!" he says. I run up to him. "Hiii!" I say, giggling. "Ayame and Edward sitting in a tree!" Aika starts to chant. I run up to her and tackle her to the ground, cover her mouth.

"don't even start!" I say. "Don't you dare!" Aika moves my hand out of the way. "You looooooovvvvvveeeee himmmmm!" she teases. I growl.

I awaken and sit up. The sunlight poured through the curtains, bar being the room in an amber glow.

I was still not discharged from the hospital yet, but I didn't care. I looked around, and noticed a bundle of roses in a vase next to my bed.

Tears run down my face. mother. I think. Mom. I miss you.. I continue to cry.

I knew my father was doing something sinister. I just didn't know what.

I just knew that I had to do something. "I won't lose you, Aika. I can't.."
