~A FEW YEARS LATER~

~Ed's P.O.V~

Its been afew years since the bridge incident. Me and Al finally found something to restore ourselves. But in order to get our bodies back to normal, I had to give up my Alchemy. Even then, my leg is still AutoMail. I sighed trying to find My Soon-to-be wife.

I found Ayame sitting on a rock next to the river, skipping stones. She didn't notice me. I snuck up behind her, and snaked my arms around her waist. "Gahh!" she cried out. I burst out laughing.

I hugged her from behind. "Edward!" she yelled. "I told you not to do that!" "do what?" I ask. "Surprise me like that!" she says. "You..." I cut her off with a kiss. She kisses me back.

"Soon." I say, resting my forehead on hers. "Soon we'll be married..." Aya nods. "I know." she says. "I can't wait, Ed. And yet, I must. WE must. The wedding is only a few days away after all.." I was so excited, but I didn't let it show. At least not yet.

She places her head on my chest, and sighs. Her head shoots up again, hitting me in the jaw. "Ow.." I say. "I have news." she says. "Oh?" I ask. "I don't know how you're going to react...but....I'm...pregnant." she stutters.

"What!?" I exclaim. She winces. "A..are you mad?" she asks. "Mad!?" I exclaim. "Mad!? I'm thrilled!" I say. "How far along?" "umm..about a week.." Aya says. "A week?" I ask. "Not far at all.." I start thinking."Who knows about it? We need to..."

"Ed." she says. "Don't get your hopes up yet. There is a good chance the fetus won't survive. We can't tell people until we know it's going to stay alive."

how long should we wait?" I ask. "A few weeks yet." she says. "That way we can tell." I brought her closer to me. "A baby...huh.." I say. "I wonder who its gonna take after?" Aya looks at me. "We won't know yet." she says. I was worried that something was gonna go wrong.
