Me and yukiji were walking she of course leading the way to where her father is "so what's wrong with your father that he'd need a Phoenixes help" I asked as I looked at her I noticed she skipped a step when I asked "if it's a problem to talk about you don't need to tell me" I said but I would like to know what I'm dealing with when I get there "he was sick for a few weeks now and he doesn't seem to be getting better. I heard from the doctor one day that a Phoenixes tears are the only thing that can help him. He said that a Phoenix lives in the forest but he warn me about you." She explained to me "I see so what do your father have besides this sickness" I asked again I need to know "something that could kill him in a few days that's all the doctor said to me when I asked the same question" she said looking down at the ground "oh I see" I said as we kept walking.
My ears perked up (I have good hearing) as I heard something rustle in the woods more like trees "yukiji walk besides me" I whispered as I walked up to her "why" she asked "just do it somethings here" I said as I scanned the surrounding area well yukiji walked close to me "YUKIJI DUCK" I yelled as we duck only to be missed by a sword "SHOW YOURSELF" I yelled as I got up and made a Phoenix feather in my hand it was covered in poison the person walked out from the trees "akura ou" I gasped he smirked 'that smirk I'm gonna kill him' "WHAT ARE YOU TRYING TO DO KILL ME" I yelled at him "NO I WAS AIMING FOR THE HUMAN" he yelled back at me "well YOU MISSED" I said/yelled "no shit" he said walking up to us yukiji stayed where she was but I could feel her fear of him. "Why do you have a ant with you" akura ou asked looking at me with a glare "she needs my help with helping her father" I said not at all scared of him "HAH" he laughed "YOUR HELPING A LITTLE ANT LIKE HER" he yelled/ laughed "yes" I said in a dead pan tone giving him a -_-face in no time he had me pin down to the ground my arms pined over my head "why help her" he said in a dangerously low tone "I already told you. IM NOT LIKE YOU ILL HELP HUMANS" I said/yelled in his face struggling to get out of his grip "they're going to die anyway might as well let them" akura ou said, this made yukiji gasp 'I'm sure she knew this why did she gasp' I thought "I don't care she isn't dead yet I'll make sure of it" I said through my teeth "what can you do you cant heal people Scarlett" he said moving to sit on my stomach. I glared at him "now no need to glare at me I'm only saying the truth" akura ou said smiling like the idiot he is 'how hasn't he notice I pulled out a Phoenix feather yet and he's so blunt' I thought looking over at the Phoenix feather that is now lying on the ground yukiji seen this and looked at me I shook my head no "DONT DO IT" I yelled at her akura ou looked at her as she made her way to the feather he jumped up pinning her to the ground with her face in the dirt "what do you think you're doing" he said pushing her head lower in in ground "AKURA OU STOP IT" I yelled he looked at me "what are you saying you like this girl more then someone of your own kind... a demon" he asked/said I wish he didn't say that "no I'm not saying that" I said getting up "ok prove it... Kill her" he said "WHAT" I yelled yukiji started struggling more after she heard that "you heard me Scarlett" akura ou said getting up and throwing yukiji at me. She landed in front of me with teary eyes I kneeled down "shhh I'll help you I'll just stab you once akura ou goes I'll use my power ok" I whispered low enough of only her to hear not akura ou she nodded her head "hey what did you tell her" akura ou asked "nothing shut up" I said "fine here" he said throwing a knife at me I nodded at yukiji to which she nodded back understanding what I was about to do "well hurry up" akura ou said getting impatient I looked at her then I stabbed her where I knew no vital vains were she looked shocked then fell to the ground she didn't cough she just layed there 'wow she looks dead' I thought I checked to see if she was actually dead but I felt her heart beat 'ok she isn't dead. Damn she's good a faking' I thought I looked up at akura ou "she's dead happy now" I said he smiled and walked towards me "very happy" he said taking the knife and putting it away "jerk" I mumbled "what" he asked moving his thumb under my chin and lifting my head up "nothing" I said moving my head out of his hand "shouldn't you be going now" I asked him "right bye" he said walking away. Once he was out of sight I looked at yukiji "hey you ok" I asked she opened her eyes "yeah... Just in a lot of pain" she managed to say "ok" I said kneeling down I felt tears in my eyes as they fell "hey were you crying this whole time" yukiji asked in a low tone "yes I care about humans ok" I said as the tear dropped on her wound healing it completely "you're different from other demons" she said getting up "I am I don't agree on killing humans just because of what they do or because we demons are stronger than them" I said looking at her well wiping away my tears "so what akura ou said was true you like humans more than your own kind" yukiji said "I do I find them strong in their own way" I said looking at the now falling sun "isn't the sun set pretty" yukiji said looking at it "I'd rather it never to show its self in this horrible world ever again but that isn't the case" I said glaring at it "Scarlett isn't Phoenixes suppose to like the sun" she asked "yes I like the sun but it has to wake up to such an ugly scene in the morning the scene that akura ou and Tomoe create each night" I said as we started walking again "if that's the case why don't you just kill them" she said "heh think about it their the most powerful demons here not even the gods can hurt them" I said laughing a bit. "I guess so but that's only when their together" she said I stopped and looked at her "haven't you learned anything from our encounter with akura ou to know that he is strong with or without Tomoe by his side... Don't go trying to kill someone or something if you haven't the power to do it. Yukiji promise me you won't go after akura ou when he's down he'll get back up and kill you in a blink of an eye" I said "I promise" she said "good now let's go" I said as walked again to her father.
Little did I know in a few years she would break this promise and go after akura ou and die.
