"Heh. Say you'll help me and everyone will be safe." Kira said. Emiko looked down.

"I... Have something to say." She said.

"Oh?" Kira asked.

"Yeah..." Emiko said. She looked at Kira with a grin. "It's about to get hot in here!" Kira's eyes went wide. She looked and saw Etsuko in the air with flames in her hand. Kira dropped Emiko. She tried to move, but her feet were frozen to the ground. She looked and saw Yukichi smirked with her hands out. It seemed that Gray gave her a hand, since his hand was out and his other hand was holding Yukichi's hand.

"Flame dragon iron fist!" Etsuko shouted as she punched Kira in the face, coursing the ice to break from the heat of the flame and coursing Kira to get thrown into a wall. Everyone grinned. Kira looked at Etsuko, who stood up straight.

"How..."

"Next time, make sure I'm actually down." Etsuko stated. Kira growled as she got up.

"I will ressurect the Dark Nine Tails Fox!" Kira shouted as she put her arms in the air. The ground began to shake and Kira started to laugh. Suddenly, figures made of stone appeared. "Awaken my soldiers and serve your queen!" Kira shouted. She continued to laugh like a psychopath.

Chapter Nine: The Strength Of the Flame Dragon Slayer.

The stone figures began to move stiffly. They were all gargoyles and small dragons. The small dragons, which looked like the size of a dog, roared.

"Heh, I'll destroy them all." Etsuko said, showing her fist full of fire. Emiko got up weakly.

"I'll... Help..."

"I'm your state?" Etsuko asked.

"This is really a strong opponent because I've only used this key once." Emiko said as she pulled out a key. "Open! Gate of the Phoenix! Fenikkusu!" Emiko shouted. Suddenly, a beautiful Phoenix appeared. It flew around Emiko, leaving little red sparkles. It then flew around Etsuko and above the others. Red sparkles touched them and all of their scratches had gone. They were all healed and stood up. "Thanks Feni!" Emiko said. The Phoenix disappeared.

"What was that?" Yukino asked.

"Fenikkusu. She's the Phoenix Spirit. Whenever I summon her, she'll heal anyone on my side." Emiko explained.

"Whoa!" Lucy gasped.

"Hey! Instead of chatting, it would be nice for some help!" Daisuke shouted as he shot a gargoyle to pieces.

"Right." The three said. Etsuko smashed three dragons and two gargoyles. She then ran to Kira and those two began to fight. Etsuko had fire in her hands while Kira had dark magic in hers.

"Ah, Etsuko Flame." Kira said as she went to punch Etsuko, but Etsuko blocked it.

"You look like one of my guild members. You must have been the twin she was talking about. I feel sorry for her." Etsuko said as she went to kick Kira, but Kira blocked it.

"Is it true you're looking for your father?" Kira asked as she went to punch Etsuko again, but Etsuko blocked it.

"What's it to you?" Etsuko asked. Kira laughed as she jumped back onto higher ground.

"Oh my dear dragon slayer. Did you not know that Atlas Flame is dead?" Kira asked.

"What?" Etsuko asked.

"He was the guardian of the Sun Village, and his last part of his life left not too long ago." Kira explained with an evil grin. Etsuko's eyes went wide as a tear fell down her cheek.

"Father..."

"Father! Look what I can do! Flame dragon roar!" A 5 year old Etsuko shouted. A little bit of flame came out. Atlas laughed at his daughter. "H-hey! Don't laugh at me!" Etsuko shouted. She then huffed.

"Sun." Atlas said.

"I thought we agreed not to call me that." Etsuko said with a pout as she crossed her arms and turned her back to him.

"You will get better in time Sunny." Atlas said.

"That's even worst! It's Etsuko now, remember? Et-su-ko!" Etsuko exclaimed and Atlas laughed again.

"Etsuko!" Emiko shouted. Etsuko wasn't moving. She didn't blink. Another tear fell down her face.

"Dad? Dad where are you?" Etsuko asked. She then huffed as she out her hands on her hip. "Now's not the time to be playing hide and seek!" She said.

"Sun." Atlas said. Etsuko jumped and turned around.

"Dad!" Etsuko said.

"I have to go." Atlas said.

"Ok! Let's go!" Etsuko smiled

"No. Not us. Me. I'm sorry." Atlas said.

"W-what? Why?" Etsuko asked. Her eyes were wide and tears fell down her cheeks.

"I will always be with you in spirit Sun." Atlas said. A little of his flame went towards Etsuko and inside her body. "Whenever you need help, I shall give you that power." Atlas said. He began to disappear.

"Dad!" Etsuko shouted.

"Goodbye... Etsuko..." Atlas said as he fully disappeared. Etsuko fell to her knees.

"FATHER!" She screamed as tears fell down her face like waterfalls.

Etsuko began to breathe heavily.

"Etsuko!" Yukichi shouted. She was holding off two Gargoyles. Flames went around Etsuko's entire body and Yukichi's eyes went wide. "DAISUKE!" Yukichi shouted. Daisuke looked.

"Oh no. Everyone get down!" He shouted. Everyone, except Kira, who jumped in front of Etsuko, and the stone figures, went down to the ground. Etsuko began to cry louder as her hair began to fly around.

"Heh." Kira laughed, but then her smile went. "Huh?" She asked. The flames went around the room like a wave. It slashed the stone figures in half and shot Kira into the wall. The flames stayed around Etsuko and she gained red markings on her face.

"What's going on?" Natsu asked.

"She's going into dragon force mode. Kira must have said something to trigger a bad memory." Kiyomi said. Etsuko screamed. Her hair went messy and her red hair turned into a flame orange and her pink fringe began to stick up. Kira got up and she looked frightened. She quickly stood by the two figures from before.

"Yin! Yang! Get her!" Kira ordered.

"The Yin-Yang celestial twins." Yukino gasped.

"They're not supposed to be together! Together they can course disharmony!" Hisui said. Yin and Yang ran at Etsuko. They both went to attack her, but she disappeared. Everyone's eyes went wide. Etsuko reappeared behind them and slashed them both with flames. Etsuko looked at Kira who stepped back. Etsuko jumped in the air and went towards Kira. She went to smash Kira's face, but instead she smashed the wall. Kira went into the shadows by going inside the walls. Etsuko began to run on the walls and she soon caught up with the shadow. She picked Kira out of the shadows and threw her into another wall. Kira rolled onto the floor and looked up to see Etsuko. Etsuko picked her up, span her around and threw her into another wall.

"Holy!" Lucy exclaimed.

"She's so strong!" Wendy gasped.

"Flame Dragon Roar! Phoenix Rebirth!" Etsuko shouted. A Dragon roar attacked Kira from Etsuko, and then another one attacked her.

"What was that?!" Gray exclaimed.

"We all were taught a technique. Phoenix Rebirth. If I was to use my Demonic Claw and Phoenix Birth, it would recreate my slash and attack the person I attacked." Yukichi explained.

"It basically copies our attack and attacks our opponents from a different angel." Kiyomi explained.

"She's so powerful!" Romeo gasped.

"She! She... She sort of reminds me of Natsu." Lucy said. Everyone tilted their heads.

"Yeah." They all said. Kira was on the ground and Etsuko sat on top of her.

"Flame dragon Iro-!" Etsuko began to say, but then her eyes went wide.

"It's like this. Flame dragon Iron Fist!" Atlas shouted as he smashed a mountain. "See? Simple." Atlas shrugged. The young Etsuko sweat dropped.

"Maybe for a dragon..." She said. "And dad, you destroyed a mountain..."

"Oops." Atlas said.

Kira managed to escape into the shadows and disappear.

"Where did she go?!" Erza shouted.

"Over there!" Hibiki shouted. They looked and saw Kira jump out of the shadows and threw a shadow slash at Lucy, Hisui, Yukino and Emiko.

"Watch out!" Gray shouted. They all tried to stop the slash, but missed it. It was about to hit the girls, who seemed frozen, but Etsuko jumped in front of them and got hit.

"Etsuko!" Emiko screamed. Etsuko fell on the ground, rolling a bit. Once she stopped, she never got up. Emiko ran to her.

"The Shadow Death Slash..." Hakuoh said with wide eyes.

"You know that spell?" Rogue asked. Hakuoh was breathing heavily.

"Hakuoh!" A large multi-coloured female dragon shouted.

"Shadow Death Slash!" A large black Nine Tailed Fox shouted as it shot a shadow slash at Hakuoh. Hakuoh seemed frozen. She was about to get hit, but the dragon went in front of her.

"MOTHER!" Hakuoh screamed.

"That's one of the Dark Nine Tailed Fox's spell." Hakuoh said.

"You mean that's the spell that killed your mother?" Naomi asked.

"No. Etsuko!" Emiko shouted. Tears fell down Emiko's tears. Everyone crowded around, except Daisuke and Erza. They were fighting off Kira. A light went around Emiko.

"Emiko." Naomi gasped.

"ETSUKO!" Emiko screamed.
