Chapter Eight: The Chikyū Akuma.
"What are you doing here? I almost killed you." Yukichi said as she pulled the ice away.
"You looked suspicious. What are you two doing?" He asked.
"We were investigating something." Kaisai said. Her and Yukichi's eyes went wide. They looked to the left and saw the hooded figure from before. Gray looked two.
"Who are you?" Yukichi asked. The person put their hands on their hood.
"Yuki-Nee, the markings." Kaisai said. The person then pulled down their hood and the other three gasped.
Chapter Eight: The Chikyū Akuma.
The person pulled down their hood to reveal a woman with brown hair and green Akuma horns. Her eyes were green and she had markings on her face.
"Those markings. You're a Chikyū Akuma, but I thought you were all wiped out by the hunters." Kaisai explained.
"Akuma's... Thank... good...ness.." The Chikyū Akuma said before she slowly began to fall to the ground. Yukichi and Gray managed to catch her.
"Are you ok?!" Yukichi asked.
"I'm sorry... I used... a lot... of my magic...power..." The girl said.
"You must have been in a massive fight since it takes a lot for an Akuma to lose power. Especially if they have their markings." Kaisai said.
"I was... A man is after... the elements... of the... Akuma Clan. An evil man... He said he needed earth... fire... and ice. I managed... to leave with my... life..." The girl said.
"What's your name?" Gray asked.
"Hana... Chikyū." The girl said.
"Ain't that a surprise?" Kaisai and Yukichi asked.
"What do you mean?" Gray asked.
"Her last name, Chikyū. It means earth, which means she's part of the full blood Earth Akuma Clan." Yukichi said.
"But you both have Akuma as last names." Gray said.
"Which means we're full blood Akuma's. We're from the line of Akuma's who started the Akuma Clan." Kaisai said.
"This is so confusing. It's hurting my brain." Gray sighed.
"We should get you to the Phoenix Guild's inn. You'll be safe there." Yukichi said. Hana nodded. Yukichi and Gray helped Hana stand up and kept hold of her for balance. The four walked to the inn the Phoenix Guild were in. When they got there, they saw that everyone were still celebrating, so they took Hana to the room Yukichi was staying in. They put Hana on the bed and instantly, she fell asleep.
"Well that didn't take long." Kaisai said. "I'll get her a glass of water." She added before running out of the room. Yukichi sighed before sitting down in a chair.
"What's wrong?" Gray asked.
"I've encountered two people who wanted me. One wanted to kill me and another wanted my power. I hope its not none of them." Yukichi said.
"Who were they?" Gray asked.
"The first one was known as Silver. An ice devil slayer." Yukichi said. Gray froze, before sighing. "What is it?"
"Silver... Is my dad." Gray said.
.
.
.
"Great, you wanna kill me too?" Yukichi asked as she rested her chin on her hand while looking around with a huff.
"No! He has his reasons!" Gray exclaimed. Yukichi just huffed.
"So I guess that means you're an ice devil slayer too huh?" She asked.
"Yeah, but I don't wanna kill you-wait... How did you survive?" Gray asked.
"I simply threw ice at his head while he was on the ground." Yukichi said.
"So childish..." Gray said.
"I was 8!" Yukichi exclaimed.
"Whatever you say." Gray said. "So... Who was the second guy?" Gray asked.
"Dunno. I was too busy trying to survive to ask for his name. But I'll recognise him if I see him." Yukichi mumbled the last part. Gray looked at her.
"Is that were you for your scars from?" Gray asked. Yukichi nodded. She then laughed slightly.
"That's how I got the name scar freak." She said. Gray frowned.
"Who the hell called you that?!" He exclaimed.
"It's nothing." Yukichi said with a shrug. Gray punched the wall.
"Who?" He asked. Yukichi seemed frightened by him.
"M-my ex..." Yukichi said.
"Who is he?" Gray asked.
"It doesn't matter." Yukichi said while frowning. "There's nothing you can do. It doesn't bother me." Yukichi said.
"Well it bothers me!" Gray shouted.
"Well it shouldn't!" Yukichi shouted, which coursed Gray to jump slightly.
"S-sorry... I don't know what came over me." Gray said. Kaisai walked in.
"I got the water! Huh? What's with the demonic atmosphere?" She asked.
"What took you so long?" Yukichi asked.
"A drunken master." Kaisai huffed. "Also I think Jinsune got Akihito drunk. His face was red and was telling everyone who talked to me to shut up. What is that kid's problem?! I mean c'mon!" Kaisai exclaimed. Yukichi and Gray looked at each other and laughed. "What's so funny?" She asked.
"It could be that he likes you." Yukichi said.
.
.
.
"Whaaaaaa?!" Kaisai exclaimed with a red face. Suddenly the water began to bubble.
"Aw, little Kaisai has a crush." Yukichi said.
"No I do not!" Kaisai shouted.
"Is that why the water's bubbling? When an Akuma emotions turns onto the embarrassing side, well, you know what happens." Yukichi smirked.
"I don't like him! I bet you two like each other!" Kaisai shouted.
"We do not!" The two shouted.
"Bet ya do!" Kaisai said.
"I will seal your lips with ice!" Yukichi shouted.
"I will melt it!" Kaisai shouted.
"My head..." The two stopped bickering and looked at Hana. Hana sat up with her hand on her head.
"You're awake. Good." Yukichi said.
"Sorry, I was really tired." Hana said.
"It's fine, has your power returned?" Yukichi asked.
"Slightly." Hana said.
"She was only asleep for at least 10 to 15 minutes." Gray thought.
"Good thing you're an Akuma." Kaisai said.
"Does it work differently for an Akuma then?" Gray asked.
"Look at the ceiling." Yukichi said. Gray looked and saw vines slowly moving down to Hana.
"When did they get in here?!" Gray shouted.
"If an Akuma is in his or hers element, or has something of his or hers element, then they will recover quicker." Yukichi explained.
"It's so hard to find a fire element." Kaisai sighed.
"How do you think I feel? I have to make ice to keep my magic up." Yukichi sighed.
"So that's why she made ice for when she fought Kaisai back then... Not to only save us, but to help herself. She did make the walls turn to ice after all." Gray thought.
"True, but I need to be near a volcano and can't be near anything cold. It weakens me." Kaisai said.
"I have to be in the woods or a forest to regain my strength." Hana said.
"So, why did you come to us?" Yukichi asked. Hana went through her bag that she hid in her cape and pulled out a Magazine. She then showed the page of Yukichi.
"I read about you in the magazine and thought you could help me. I heard a rumour that the Phoenix Guild is entering the Games this year and came to Fiore, but I'm afraid that the man after has followed me here. I didn't see who attacked me earlier, but I know it was something darker than an Akuma." Hana explained.
"So that's it." Kaisai said. Gray looked confused. "Didn't we sense a dark aura from that person who walked past us yesterday?" Kaisai asked.
"Yes, which means we have to be more careful. During a competition, we shouldn't go all out." Yukichi explained.
"Should we tell the master?" Kaisai asked.
"No, she would only worry and she's not exactly the best to talk to when drunk. We shouldn't tell anyone of this... Yet..." Yukichi explained.
"Won't they get suspicious of me?" Hana asked.
"We'll just say you're a relative who came to cheer for the Phoenix Guild." Yukichi explained.
"Sounds good to me." Kaisai said.
"What about you?" Yukichi asked as she looked at Gray.
"What do you mean?" Gray asked.
"You won't tell anyone will you?" Yukichi asked.
"Nah, my guild would just go crazy. Especially Juvia since she's seemed to have taken a liking to you. I'll keep an eye out though, just in case. I should be able to sense a demon with my magic." Gray explained.
"You didn't sense Hana." Yukichi said with a blank expression.
"I tried to hide my aura. Being an Chikyū Akuma gives me the ability of aura since it's nature. Since you're an Akuma yourself, you would be able to sense me." Hana explained.
"Hm..." Yukichi said.
"What is it?" Kaisai asked.
"We'll have to be careful with our dark aura. Especially me and you since we're part of the clans that began Akuma." Yukichi explained.
"When did the Akuma Clan start?" Gray asked.
"About 500 hears ago. In the time of the dragons I believe." Kaisai said.
"You're 500 years old?!" Gray exclaimed.
"No you Baka! There are still full blood Akuma's out there, it's just rare!" Yukichi exclaimed.
"Yeah. The Akuma's who aren't full blood Akuma's are Akuma's who has at least one human family member. Sometimes two Akuma's doesn't make a full blood Akuma." Kaisai explained.
"This is so confusing!" Gray exclaimed.
"How do you think we feel! We were told this when we were younger!" Yukichi exclaimed.
"Eheh, I still don't get it and I'm 17." Hana said.
"Another Nee-San!" Kaisai exclaimed as she put the glass of water down and hugged Hana. Hana looked at the others for help.
"There's no stopping her now." Yukichi sighed.
"She's like a child." Gray said.
"A pain in the ass child." Yukichi said.
"So mean." Kaisai cried.
"Shouldn't you get back before your guild gets worried?" Yukichi asked.
"Yeah, and if there's any problems, don't hesitate to call me for help or send out an emergency flare." Gray said.
"'Kay." Yukichi said. Gray got up and walked out of the door. Hana and Kaisai giggled.
"What?" Yukichi asked.
"He liiiiiikes you ~!" They both said.
"You're worse than Natsu's cat!" Yukichi exclaimed. The two giggled and Yukichi sighed. "I swear..." She said. Yukichi walked out of some balcony doors and sat on a bench on the balcony. She looked up at the sky. It was clear night with many stars and the moon lighting up the sky. Yukichi sighed. "Another person after the Akuma power huh?" She asked. "We'll have to be more careful."
