Sera walked into her house and slammed her keys onto the kitchen counter. She rested her hands against the counter and hung her head. The reality of everything that had happened hit her like a brick.

Her mom was dead.

Liam almost died.

Liam was a werewolf now. Well, that is if his body didn't reject the bite. If he did reject the bite... well... he'd be dead too.

Sera wanted to cry. She wanted to scream. But she couldn't, she had to keep it all inside and pretend like her world wasn't falling apart. Like everything she loved wasn't ruined. As her emotions continued to build, Sera could feel herself losing control of her body. And just like that the phoenix was in control again, her eyes blazing like fire. The phoenix created a fire ball in her hand and threw it across the house. Luckily the pheonix had aimed for the fireplace. And just as quick as the pheonix had been in control, it had given Sera control back.

She felt... better now. Like a weight had been lifted off of her shoulders, like her emotions weren't weighing her down anymore. She instinctively flicked her hand and the fire went out. Sera looked down at her hand surprised. She had read in the book Deaton had given her that the pheonix helps you gain full control of your powers, you just have to learn how to control the pheonix. This would be the most difficult part, learning control.

Sera sighed and grabbed her keys once again. She'd promised Scott she'd come over and help him and Stiles with Liam and she wanted to get there before the spastic boy could convince Scott to do another stupid thing today. Mourning would have to wait.

Luckily, Sera had gotten to the McCall house at the same time as Stiles which meant no real damage had been done yet- minus the fact that Scott bit Liam in the first place. Unfortunately, Sera had been wrong about that. When her and Stiles walked into the house Scott was waiting for them.

"Like I said, I told my dad everything I could-" Stiles said after he finished quickly explaining what sheriff Stilinski had found.

"But you didn't tell him about Liam?" Scott asks worriedly.

"You barely told me about Liam! What did you do with him, anyway?" Stiles asks and Sera nods wanting to know the answer to that question as well.

"He's upstairs..." He replies awkwardly. Sera immediately knows something is up.

"Doing what?" Stiles asks before Sera can ask her question.

"...Lying down..." Scott says uneasily. This iritates Sera and she starts walking towards the stairs.

"What the hell did you do, McCall?" Sera asks and storms upstairs.

"So, you bit him?" Stiles asked after three had walked upstairs to find Liam tied up with duct tape in Scott's bathtub.

"Yeah..." Scott said hesitantly.

"And you decided kidnapping him was the next best choice of action?" Sera asked.

"Yeah..."

"And brought him here?" Stiles asked.

"I panicked!" Scott said trying to defend himself.

"Yup." Stiles says nodding.

"You told me you were going to get him to come here willingly!" Sera says frustrated.

"I tried but he didn't want to come with me!" Sera rolls her eyes and crosses her arms. This is starting to out of control.

"This isn't going to end with us burying the pieces of his body out in the desert, is it?" Stiles asked and Sera looks at him like he's crazy. Liam tried to scream through the duct tape and Sera sighs.

"Can we please get him out of that?" Sera asks. "I'm here now so he'll probably be more willing to listen."

"As a reminder, this is why I always come up with the plans! Your plans suck!" Stiles says ignoring the girl's question to yell at Scott.

"I know- which is why I called you. So, what do we do?" Scott asks.

"Liam, we're going to take the tape off your mouth. If you scream, it goes right back on. If you talk quietly, it stays off. Got it?" Liam nods his head vigorously.

"Okay." Stiles says and he talked the tape off of his mouth.

Liam is now tied to a chair in Scott's room much to Sera's displeasure. Stiles and Scott are standing in front of Liam and blocking the door, while Sera stands off to the side allowing the boys to handle this situation.

"Okay, Liam... Now, you've seen a lot of confusing things tonight. And more confusing things are going to happen because of the confusing things that happened tonight. Do you understand?" Stiles says and Sera looks at him confused.

"Not really..." Liam said still utterly confused.

"Good. That's good." Stiles says.

"I don't understand, either..." Scott said looking at Stiles.

"Yeah, that made no sense to me and I've been doing this stuff for like two years now." Sera said.

"Well then it's a good thing I'm not explaining this to you for the first time." Stiles says to the girl. "Maybe you should tell him." He says to Scott.

"Tell me what?" Liam says still extremely confused as to what's going on.

"Liam... What happened to you... what I did to you... which I had to do to save you? It's going to change you..." Scott says and Sera stands up shaking her head. This approach isn't going to work.

"Unless it kills you." Stiles says and Liam looks at him scared.

"Stiles!" Sera yells.

"...Shouldn't have said that." Stiles says quietly.

"What?" Liam says and starts crying. Sera is quick to kneel in front of the young boy.

"Uh... Uh-oh. Oh-oh... Is he... Is he crying?" Stiles asks awkardly.

"Of course he's crying! You told him he could die!" Sera says to Stiles and then immeditaly goes back to trying to calm Liam down.

"Liam, it's okay. You're going to be all right." Scott kneels down next to Sera and starts to rip the tape off of Liam. "You're not going to die." Sera nods in agreement.

"I'd never let that happen." Sera tells him reasuringly.

"Probably not..." Stiles mumbles.

"Stop it!" Scott yells at him.

"Okay, possibly not..."

"Stiles!" Sera says in warning.

"Would you please just help me untie him?" The two boys untie Liam and stand up. "Liam, are you okay?" Scott asks when Liam puts his head in his hands. Now Sera's getting a little suspicious. Liam doesn't get all soft like this in front of people he doesn't trust.

"We're sorry about that. We're really sorry-" Liam cuts him off by standing up and punching Scott in the face. "Liam, what the hell is your-" Stiles says but he's cut off again by Liam running past him and out of the room. Sera stands up stunned that Liam would do that to someone. Stiles and Scott run after him. "Get him!" Stiles and Scott tackle him at the bottom of the stairs and the three boys start wrestling but, Liam wiggles free and runs out the front door and disapears. "Leg! I got him! I got him! I got him! I got him!" Stiles says proud of himself until realizing he had Scott's leg. Sera runs half way down the stairs and stops when she sees the two boys lying on the ground and Liam no where to be seen.

"...Your plan sucked, too!" Scott whines. Sera groans at the two lying on the floor and walks down the rest of the steps.

"No, it's okay, I'll get him." She says annoyed at the two boys. She walks out of the house and slams the door shut. She jogs down the front path to Scott's house and looks up and down the street for Liam. She catches him running down the street in the direction of his house. Sera knows she won't be able to catch the boy, not if he really is going to live. She runs to her car and starts driving down the street towards him. When she finally catches up to Liam she rolls down the window.

"Liam!"

"Leave me alone, Sera!" Liam yells at her not even sparing a glance her way.

"Look I know all of this sounds insane, and if I'm being honest, it definitely is even when you know everything. But Li, you gotta get in the car. I can explain everything to you. Or if you just want me to take you home that's okay too. But I'm not leaving you out here by yourself." Liam slows to a jog and then completely stops running. He looks at Sera and sighs.

"Fine. I'll get in the car. I'll listen to your explanation. But if you get weird like they did," he says pointing back to Scott's house. "I'm getting out of the car and I'm walking home." Sera nods.

"I can live with that." Liam gets into the passenger seat and Sera starts driving again.

"Alright. Talk." Liam says and Sera thinks about how she should tell him everything.

"My um... my mom is dead." Sera says quietly. Liam turns his full attention to her at that. "The man that killed that kid on the roof? He killed my mom too. She's gone. And I..." Tears start to slip down Sera's face and Liam puts his hand over her own on the steering wheel. "She was... supposed to die.. It's apart of she is- who I am." Liam shakes his head.

"What are you talking about?" Liam asks. "It's not your fault. You have to know that." Sera nods.

"I know it's not my fault. But... It was supposed to happen. Just not this soon. Based off of what I know... she should have had at least a few more months."

"Okay, I know this is going to sound terrible but.. what does this have to do with Scott biting me?" Sera stops at a red light and looks at Liam, tears streaming down her face.

"Because I'm like Scott now. And I think you will be too."

And that's the end of this chapter !! I've run out pre-written chapters so bear with me for a little bit while I try to stock up on chapters! Sera is gonna be going through it for a while... I'm also a little nervous because Sera has her full powers so now I have to write fights scenes.
