Chapter Two

Hey, guys!!!! I'm back with chapter 2. This is bad, I don't like it. But, this is a self indulgent. The video above is a sample of Male Sopranos. On with the chapter.

"Phantom?" Keith called.

He walked into the quiet opera house and called out once more.

"Phantom? Are you there?"

"I'm right here, Keith."

Keith turned around and looked at the masked Phantom.

"Hello."

Keith smiled. "So, where do we start?"

"With vocal exercises. You're a Male Soprano, so you'll need great vocal cords."

Keith nodded.

(I have no idea what I'm talking about. I'm in band, not choir. If something's wrong, I'm sorry. I'm going to skip most of the training. Sorry.)

Most of the night, they worked on vocal exercises.

Then, it was Keith's time to go.

"I'll be back tomorrow." He promised.

"Of course. If you can, practice on your own." The Phantom said.

Keith nodded and left.

The Phantom sighed.

Then, his communicator went off. He answered it once he was sure Keith was gone.

"Apologizes, Emperor, but we haven't found the assassin."

"it's alright. Take as much time as you need. Don't punish them until I've come back"

"Of course, Emperor."

The communicator cut out.

The Phantom sighed again.

*W/Keith*

The orphanage runners woke everyone up.

"Wake up! We haven't much time! Get this place cleaned! We have parents coming and We want this place spotless!"

The kids didn't complain until they left.

"Why do we have to clean it? Can't they clean it themselves?" One asked.

"No." Keith answered. "Anyway, come on. You better get cleaning."

Keith woke the remaining children and hurried them outside. "Hurry and wash up. Get dressed and brush your hair."

"Why? They're just going to get dirty again."

"Yes, but you heard them. Parents are coming. You need to look your best." T

he girls smiled.

One girl, Emily, walked up to Keith.

"We'll get adopted?"

"Yes! But, you need to get cleaned first!"

The kids scrambled to do so.

Then, Keith looked at the clock. Crap! He'd be late for school! He cleaned up, got dressed, and ran to get food.

"Sorry! I'm going to be late!"

"And, where do you think you're going?"

"School! I have to go!"

He pushed past the Orphanage director and ran out the door. He rushed to class and almost made it.

"Sorry! Sorry, I'm late. The directors woke us up late."

"It's alright, Keith Don't let it happen again."

 "Okay."

Keith went to his seat and sat down.

Then, he heard whispers.

"Look. Did you know he's an orphan?"

"Yeah! Comes from the run-down orphanages."

 "Children! Listen up!"

 Everyone looked to the front.

There was a man beside the teacher.

"This is Commander Takeshi Shirogane. He teaches at the Galaxy Garrison."

(I forgot what Shiro says, so we'll skip to the "game".)

Shiro was impressed. These kids do have some skill. He could use that. Though, one kid wasn't participating.

He sat away from everyone, softly singing.

'So, he likes opera, huh?'

Shiro went over.

"Do you wanna give it a go?"

The kid looked at him.

"Why?"

"Listen, everyone needs to have a go. If you really don't want to do it, then flunk it."

"Hey, Mr. Shirogane!" A kid called.

"Yes? Do you need something?"

The child smirked.

"Why are you wasting your time with that orphan?! He won't do anything! He's just a stupid orphan whose parents abandoned him!"

Shiro gasped.

The boy flinched and curled into a ball.

Shiro wasn't having it. He was about to yell at them, when the boy stopped him.

"Don't. It's not worth it."

The boy looked at him.

"I'll do it."

*End Chapter Two*

Well. That was painful. In any case, I don't own anything, but the plot. I hope you enjoyed and please. No hate. I have enough of that as is. Ja ne!!!!
