(Akiri POV)

I was walking around the school to clear my mind after what happened. I then heard what sounded like blades clashing and made my way to it. Once I was around the corner I saw Ikki and Stella were training.

After a few minutes they stopped and sat at a table. I then made my way to them

Akiri: Morning Ikki, Stella. Training hard I see

Ikki: Ah, morning Akiri

Stella: ...

Ikki: What's wrong Stella?

Stella: How?!

Akiri: How what?

Stella: How did you know that I was luring you into a trap?!

Akiri: *smirks* That's a secret cuz

Stella: Tell me!

Akiri: Nope, A good magician never reveals his secrets *winks*

Stella: Fine! But I will figure it out someday

Ikki: Oh right, you two had a mock battle yesterday. Sorry I couldn't come and watch. Judging how Stella is mad at you I'm guessing you won?

Akiri: Yup

I noticed that Stella looked sad

Akiri: Hey, don't look so down. You were amazing yesterday, I can see the improvement

Stella: *smiles* Thanks cuz. Next time, I'll beat you for sure!

Akiri: I'll be looking forward to it

Akiri and Stella then fist bumped

Stella: So, about the bet...

Akiri: I'll think of something soon, don't worry about that.

Ikki: So your first battle has already set, Stella

Stella: I just got an email from the school administration. My opponent is Momotani in the third grade

Ikki: Oh, I've seen him fight once. His device is a rare armor-type, and-

Stella: Stop, Ikki

Akiri: She's not the kind of person who wants to know all that information beforehand

Ikki: Really?

Stella: Yep! I consider battles like this as training for the future when I encounter unknown blazers

Ikki: I see. I guess you don't always know their ability

Stella: Of course, I think it's also important to research your opponent just like you do.

After a few moments, the school bell started to ring

Ikki: There goes the first bell, lets go

Akiri: Right

Ikki and Akiri started to walk towards class.

Stella: Ikki!

They both then stopped walking

Stella: Today is Friday, isn't it?

Akiri: (thoughts) Oh? She's finally gonna ask him out?

Ikki: Yes

Stella: that means tomorrow is Saturday, and the school is out, right

Ikki: Right

Stella: So, well... H-hypothetically...

Akiri: (thoughts) Oh my god, this so hard to watch

Stella: What if you and I... You know... go on a d-d-da-

Then Stella was startled by Ikki's phone ringing. He pulled out his phone and checked it

Ikki: S-sorry

Stella: Is it about your opponent?

Stella had gotten beside Ikki and he showed her his phone to see that it was a message from Shizuku asking him if he wanted to go shopping with her tomorrow. Stella then looked away with an angry face and fire starts coming out from her fist.

Stella: Shizuku!

Ikki: Sure, I'd be happy to

Ikki said while typing and pressing send

Stella: HEY!

Ikki: Huh? Wh-what? What!?

Akiri just sighed

Ikki: You guys wanna tag along?

Stella: *sighs* Sure, I guess...

Akiri: No thanks, I got something else to do tomorrow

Ikki: I see

The three of them then started to head to class

(Timeskip)

Akiri is currently walking towards his dorm room when his phone suddenly started ringing. He pulled out his phone from his pocket and answered it.

Akiri: This is Akiri

Dad: Hey son, how are you?

Akiri: I'm doing just fine

Dad: That's good, now listen up. We got reasons believe that they are planning an attack on a nearby mall tomorrow.

Akiri: They're making their move now?

Dad: Fortunately no, this seems unrelated to our current situation. They're planning to attack a mall near your location to ask for a very large ransom, they're most likely to take hostages. We believe there would be at least one blazer in the group. Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to intercept the attack and apprehend the blazer for interrogation. This message will self destruct in five seconds.

Akiri: *sighs* you and your references

Dad: *chuckles* It's not like you can talk

Akiri: Just send me the location

Dad: Good luck

Akiri then hung up and the coordinates of the location has been sent to his phone

(Next day)

Currently, Akiri is walking around the mall in his casual clothes trying to look for any suspicious activity. A few hours later, he accidentally ran into Stella, Ikki, Shizuku and a boy with purple hair.

Akiri: (thoughts) Stella? Ikki? *sighs* what are the chances...

Stella: Cuz?

Ikki: Hey Akiri. What are you doing here?

Akiri: Hey, I just went to stop by and get something

Akiri looks towards Shizuku

Akiri: Shizuku right? I don't think we've been properly introduced before. *raises hand for a handshake* I'm Akiri Shiranobu.

Shizuku: *accepts handshake* Shizuku Kurogane

Akiri: So I take it you don't have a problem with it?

Shizuku: I don't mind

Akiri: Okay then

Akiri then looks towards the purple haired boy

Akiri: And who are you?

???: I'm Nagi Arisuin, call me Alice

Akiri: Alice it is then

Ikki: *looks at Akiri* You wanna join us?

Akiri: Sorry, I need to be somewhere else soon. You guys go and enjoy yourselves

Ikki: Alright then, see you soon

Stella: Bye cuz!

Akiri: Bye Stella

They then go their separate directions

(Timeskip)

Akiri is currently continuing walking around the mall. A few minutes later mall had gotten dark due to the lights suddenly turning off and echoes of gunshots were heard in all directions mixed by sounds of screaming. People started to panic and run in different directions. Akiri then uses his noble art "Jigen Ryoko" to avoid being spotted by the attackers. He then went into hiding.

Akiri: (thoughts) I need to wait until they are gathered in one place, I can't take them head on.

After waiting until the gunshots has ended, he carefully made his way to the security room where he finds Ikki and Nagi.

Ikki: Akiri! The director has authorized us to use our devices we need to move now

Akiri: No! I need to move, you two are not to engage

Ikki: What?! No way, Shizuku and Stella are down there. I can't just-

Nagi: Ikki! I agree with him, we should just stand by in case something unexpected happens

Ikki: But-

Nagi: The Shiranobu family are known for their expertise in assassinations. They had assassinated countless warriors and leaders for generations. It is best that we let someone like him handle this

Ikki: *sighs* Fine, but im going in the second their lives are in danger

Akiri just nodded

Akiri: Good. You guys keep watch from the top floor

Akiri then made his way out. When he arrives where the hostages are held. When he arrives, he sees a group of women and children at the center of the mall surrounded by armed men.

He also saw a man wearing a dark green coat who he assumes is the blazer. Stella with her sword standing in front of the blazer.

Akiri: (thoughts) Goddammit Stella. She must have rushed in without thinking.

Blazer: In respect to your courage, I am presenting you a way to save their lives

Stella: What is it?

Blazer: You take his place, and you apologize. By kneeling on the ground, fully naked!

Akiri: (thoughts) Bastard...

Akiri then quickly begin to make his move. Using his "Jigen Ryoko" to quickly move around, he goes behind the armed men one by one either choking them, or knocking them out. Once all of the armed men are dealt with without the blazer noticing, he saw that Stella was in her underwear and he walked out of the dark to personally confront the blazer.

Akiri: You got some nerves to do what you did, especially to her...

Stella: Akiri! Be careful, he can absorb your attacks!

Blazer: What's this, another blazer? You dare stand against me while I have the power to kill all of these innocent people? I could simply tell my men to open fire and all of these people will die!

Akiri: Men? What men?

Blazer: Huh?!

He looks around and sees that all of his men are on the ground and unconscious

Blazer: *shocked* W-what! How did you-

Akiri: Come forth, Yorukaze!

Akiri summons his device, got into a stance and uses his "Jigen Ryoko" and disappears. But this time he did not reappear and the blazers arm was suddenly cut off by thin air, shocking everyone

Blazer: M-my arm!

Akiri then reappears in front of him

Akiri: You can't absorb my attacks if you can't see them

Blazer: You brat!

The blazer then started to move, but was frozen in place by Nagi who had appeared from the shadows

Nagi: Okay, Play time is over

Blazer: Damn it!

Ikki: Stella!

Stella: W-what's wrong, Ikki?

Ikki then goes to hug Stella and Shizuku walked up with her clothes

Shizuku: Jeez, you're way too hasty. Going out without any plans

Akiri: Tell me about it

Shizuku: But I think it was admirable

Suddenly, they all heard someone scream and they all looked over to see a woman being held by another woman who was pointing a gun at her.

Armed woman: Nobody move! If you do anything stupid, I'll kill her

Shizuku: Is she one of them?

Blazer: You are not the only ones hiding among the hostages. Bunch of fools!

Akiri: ...

Armed woman: You there! Free Bisho, or...

The armed woman pushes her gun against the hostage's head.

Bisho: You fools! Did you think it was gonna be that easy?!

Akiri then suddenly appears behind the armed women, took her gun and knocks her out.

Akiri: You were saying?

Bisho: W-wait. Black hair, blue sword, ability to teleport...

He then widens his eyes as he had just realized something.

Bisho: *shocked* Y-you're, The Phantom!

Ikki, Stella, Shizuku and Nagi: The Phantom?

Akiri: Ah, so you heard about me?

Bisho: N-no, Impossible! You're just a myth!

Akiri: Now, time to pay for what you did to Stella

Bisho: W-wait. What do you guys want? Money? I have money, I can give you all of it!

Akiri: Yare yare, you truly are the lowest scum in history...

Akiri then deactivates his device and cracks his knuckles while slowly approaching the blazer

Ikki: What's he gonna do?

Shizuku: A noble art?

Stella: *sighs* I wish that was the case...

Akiri: You saw her in her underwear with your dirty eyes. You tried to get her to strip naked in front of you and your men. You can't pay back what you owe, with money...

Akiri then started to beat up Bisho with a barrage of punches while screaming

Akiri: ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA ORA!

Stella: -_-

He then reels back his fist for a final punch

Akiri: OOOORRAAAA!!!

The last punch sends Bisho flying back and he hits the ground beaten up with broken bones and bruises covering his entire body and everyone looks at Akiri shocked

Akiri: That's what you get for messing with my cousin

Akiri then notices Ikki looking nervous and sweating excessively

Akiri: Ikki? You okay?

Ikki: Y-yeah, I-I'm fine

Akiri just raised an eyebrow at him

Akiri: Okay then, if you say so

After the group finished taking them down, the police came in and arrested the attackers.
