So I have seen a lot regarding Dan and Phil not doing PINOF anymore. This is upsetting but it has led to something uncalled for. There has been a small but very loud outrage among some people and I'd like to set some points straight. First off they have been doing PINOF for ten years. 10 YEARS!!! In that time they have had 2 stage shows, moved like 3 times, done live events and started rebranding their channels. Dan and Phil are in a period of internal growth and they have the right to let go of something they did in the past. Most people dont do or say the same things they did 10 years ago and it's perfectly fine for Dan and Phil to move on to new and different things. They are also adults who are capable of making that choice for themselves. I have seen posts where people were mad at then for not telling us this before the last PINOF but honestly they might not have even known yet. This may have been something they were trying to decide all year. Traditions like these take a lot of time and effort and to say that is saying that they shouldn't have cared so much. They have done so much for us while they have reached a major growth period in their life. They kept up old, embarrassing videos, just for us. Phil is over 30 for christ sakes no wonder he doesnt want sharpie with cat whiskers on his face. Dan is almost 30 and is focusing on mental health. They have bigger and better things. It's not everybody who is saying these things. Honestly I have like no reason to even get involved but part of life is change and if you live in the past you are going to miss the great things Dan and Phil and life has planned for you. It's hard to let it go but it's not like it's going to be deleted, and it's not like they are deleting themselves to. Just respect these ADULT mens decisions on what content they share because they are capable of making that choice for themselves and they dont need a bunch of teenagers(main demographic) to tell them otherwise.
