So where to begin. Let's just say people watch Dan and Phil in many different ways. You can even change how you view them over time.

This is a basic rundown of Phans you will find when you are in the phandom. This is only a few and honestly many of you may classify with many of these categories.

Demon Phannies: these people are usually somewhat younger but not always and tend to cause most of the drama. They are hardcore shippers of Dan and Phil and often ridicule those who don't ship. They are most of the time crazy but often are misunderstood, as they are just crazy about Dan and Phil. My advice is if you are a Demon Phannie, just calm down the rest of the phandom is hiding from embarrassment.

Troll Phans: These phans are the ones who say they love Dan and Phil but trash talk them and don't appreciate them. They support bad choices of the phandom and threaten other Phandom members.

Chill Phans: These phans are what make the majority of the phandom. They are calm and collected and often cringe at the rest of the phandom. They don't go overboard on anything and are the phans that many claim they are but really aren't.

Phannies: These are often confused with Demon Phannies but there is one difference...these ones are all talk and not really bite. They don't stalk Dan and leak their personal information. They just are really cringey and often find the stuff they demon Phannies leak and freak out about it. They hardcore ship phan, and honestly aren't the worst but are somewhat annoying.

Spam Phans: these people spam in the comments just stupid crap. This often includes, protip, don't cry-craft, and even rat. Now these people comment these everywhere and is almost like a tag along title. You could be a demon Phannie and a spam phan. A chill phan and a spam phan is rare to find and these people establish a lot of our cringey, catchphrases. These tend to get caught on by the Phannies.

So this wasn't meant to upset anybody because at the end of the day as long as you keep Dan and Phils respect in mind it really doesn't matter what you determine your phan type is and honestly it doesn't matter. Just if you do determine you're a demon phannie, just keep it on the down low for once. Lol.
