7. Towel Drying

"You comfy?" Louis asked as he put the blanket over Harry's body.

"Yes." Harry nodded furiously.

"Great. Is it okay if I lay down next to you?" Louis asked just to avoid another meltdown. "I won't touch you." He added.

"Yes." Harry said again and scooted away a little.

"Thank you." Louis smiled brightly at the elder boy and laid down next to him on their bed which still had rose petals all over it as if they are mocking Louis about his ruined honeymoon. Louis ignored the slight pang in his heart as he wished Harry a goodnight to which Harry didn't respond due to him being already asleep.

Louis stared up at the ceiling not being able to fall asleep despite it being around 1am. Suddenly, an idea popped up.

He got off the bed and took his phone from the nightstand before walking out to the connected balcony. He sat on one of the lounge chairs there and pulled 'Harry's' contact.

He knew that it's stupid because the one who pretended like Harry must have already blocked his number or something but it is worth a shot.

He hovered his thumb over the 'call' mark and pressed his finger against it after collecting everything that he's gonna say if the person ever answers. The line just rung once and went straight to voicemail.

'There his voice is.' Louis let out a sigh before trying again and again. He finally came to conclusion that his own number is blocked in fake Harry's n phone. He thought about giving up but then he remembered that he can place a voicemail. He smirked to himself as he thought about everything he wanted to say.

He called again and waited patiently till the line goes to voicemail. Once the beep is heard he started.

"Oh, hey fake Harry. I hope you are happy with yourself now. You and your father is absolutely disgusting and guess what, I don't regret it here. I will never ever give you the pleasure. Watch me." Louis pressed the button and line went dead.

He let out a sigh of relief before heading back into the room. He closed the balcony door and laid down next to a fast asleep Harry before falling into a dreamless sleep.

-

When Louis woke up in the morning, he felt something heavy draped over his waist. He blinked the sleep out of his eyes and gazed down to see what it is. He giggled when he noticed it's Harry's leg and carefully removed it, trying his best to not wake the elder boy up but the touch woke him up anyway.

Harry groaned as he rolled to the other side while muttering something under his breath making Louis giggle some more.

"Good morning, Harry." Louis said in his raspy morning voice that he absolutely hated. He cleared his throat to get rid of it as Harry slowly woke up. The sound had Harry's head turning towards Louis in one shift movement that Louis was afraid he got a whiplash.

"'ood mornin'" Damn, Harry's morning voice was so sexy and it made Louis' knees week.

"You remember me?" Louis knew that it was a stupid question but he asked it anyway.

"Yes." Harry nodded curtly.

"Good." Louis smiled at the elder boy before getting out of the bed. That's when Harry looked around the house and noticed that he's in a different room.

"C'mon. Let's go and clean ourselves up." Louis offered his hand to Harry but the taller one ignored it as he got off the bed on his own.

He looked around the room again and he felt like everything is messed up now because he doesn't have the familiar surroundings. Not even his mommy is there and the friend from last night is the only one in the room.

Louis immediately picked on Harry's panicky state and he decided to do something before it's too late.

"What's wrong, love?" He asked in a soothing voice.

"Mommy?" Harry asked as he circled around while clenching and unclenching his palms.

"Mommy is downstairs. Let's go and see her first, yeah?" Louis smiled at Harry even though he was a bit hesitant about what is going to happen next.

"Wanna see mommy."

"Yeah, let's go. C'mon." Louis opened the door of their room and held it open for Harry. The taller boy walked out of the room and down the hallways without waiting for Louis. Louis just smiled fondly at the boy jogged after Harry to catch up with him.

When they are at the top of the stairs, Harry stopped. Louis shrugged it off and went few steps down but stopped when he noticed that Harry isn't following him.

"C'mon, Harry. Come down these. She's there." Louis pointed towards the bottom of the stairs.

"No, scary." Harry shook his head as he stated firmly and started humming to himself still clenching and unclenching his palms.

"Aw. Is it okay if I helped out down these?" Louis couldn't help but coo. He climbed back the few steps he went down.

"Want mommy." Harry repeated.

"We can see mommy soon but we have to go down these to see her." Louis reasoned hoping it would work out. "C'mon." He offered his hand to Harry and the elder brought his fidgety fingers towards it. Louis waited patiently until Harry places his hand on his and sent the boy a big smile when he held onto Louis' hand tightly.

"Hold onto the railing with the other hand, okay?" Louis helped Harry down the stairs cautiously. Harry took every step very carefully and bounced a circle around while clapping and giggling once they are at the bottom of the stairs.

Louis watched his husband with a fond smile before speaking up.

"Let's go to see your mommy." He offered his hand to Harry again but the boy didn't take it. Louis watched as he ran down the hallway to a room with a white door. He faintly remembered that Anne came out of it last night when he yelled for help.

He frowned when he noticed that Desmond was nowhere to be seen last night even when a large fight was going there which included lots of yelling and screeching. He probably was avoiding getting attacked by Louis that night. Louis thought about punching the old, disgusting man in the guts but he'd go nowhere with that. Plus, it'll be him betraying Anne if he ever yelled at Anne for everything she said to him.

He finally decided to go to the same room as Harry went in and knocked on the white door.

"Who's there?" He heard Anne's voice from inside.

"It's Louis, Anne." He said and the door was opened by Anne.

"Good morning, love. Come in." She sent Louis a bright smile and opened the door wider for him.

"Good morning." Louis returned the smile and walked into the room, Anne closing the door behind him.

He was amazed at the way the room looked. The padded floor, padded walls caught his attention. There was a book shelf at a corner and it was heavy with books on it, except that, the room had a king sized bed, a TV, a table along with a chair and a toy box filled to the max. Everything other than the bed was plastic.

"This is Harry's room. It's proofed of everything that can harm him." Anne explained and Louis nodded understandingly.

"Where is he now?" Louis asked when he couldn't see the boy in the room.

"He went to the bathroom to clean up. He can do it by himself now. You know, it took years to get him to the point he's in now." Anne smiled.

"I see. He's a lovely lad, anyway." Louis smiled back. Then silence played its roll around them as they both got lost in their own worlds until Anne let her voice take over the silenced surroundings.

"I'm glad you stayed, Louis. I thought you'd leave and call everything off once you found out." Anne said while tilting her head down.

"I don't want to see my parents in pain and curse themselves for what happened to me and I admit, I didn't want you to be alone either. You have suffered a lot through your life and I can't even imagine how strong you are." Louis smiled sincerely at the older woman.

"God, you are such a precious gem, Louis. I already love you." Anne pulled him into a hug making the boy giggle.

"I love you too. You are such an inspirational mother." Louis hugged her back.

"Thank you, love and you are a very strong person too. You are staying here sacrificing your happiness and freedom for your parents and me."

They pulled apart when they heard the sound of a door opening. They both looked at the bathroom door and found Harry there with a towel wrapped around his body and his curls dripping wet.

"Didn't you dry your hair with a towel?" Anne was already walking over to her son.

"No." Harry shook his head making droplets of water go everywhere.

"Hey, mister." Anne chuckled. "Wait on your bed until I come back with a towel for you." Anne walked away to the bathroom.

Louis, who was watching the mother and son interact, walked over and sat next to Harry on the bed. Harry being the cheeky one he is, shook his curls again making drops of water land on Louis.

"Hey!" Louis giggled and it had Harry laughing uncontrollably.

Anne came back with a towel and put it over Harry's head to towel dry his hair.

"Can I?" Louis asked Anne.

"Sure." Anne handed Louis the towel and stepped back to let the boy towel dry Harry's hair. Harry seemed happy about how gentle Louis is being that he let out a giggle.

"You like it?" Louis asked giggling a bit.

"Yes." Harry nodded.

"Done!" Louis exclaimed and left the towel covering Harry's whole head. Then he lifted the towel like it's a game of peek-a-boo. That sent Harry to a giggly mess and Louis followed close behind.

Anne watched all of this with a fond smile and tear filled eyes.

"Mommy, mommy, mommy!" Harry's voice brought Anne out of her trance.

"Yes, love?" Anne looked at him.

"Is Louis my friend?" He asked making Anne let out a deep sigh. Even though she knew that it's going to be useless she decided to tell Harry the truth.

"He's your husband, Harry." She said.

"What's husband?" Harry asked, genuinely confused.

"Like daddy and me. Daddy is my husband." Anne explained the best she can. Louis watched this all biting on his bottom lip, a nervous habit of his.

"Is he scary like daddy?" Harry asked flapping his hands in front of him.

"No, no, he's not." Anne chuckled.

"But is Louis my friend?" Harry repeated his question.

"Yes, I am, Harry. I'm your best friend from now on." Louis replied instead of Anne.

Harry cheered while bouncing on the bed.

"See mommy, he's my friend!" The elder boy yelled out happily.

"Yes, that's great!" Anne ruffled Harry's curls and sent Louis a thankful smile. "Get dressed then we can go and eat." Anne added.

"Downstairs?" Harry's eyes had a hopeful glint.

"Maybe. I'll have to ask your daddy. Get yourself dressed until I go and ask." Anne smiled at her son.

"Louis, don't let him out of the room until I come back. Please, help him if he got stuck in a t-shirt."

"Alright." Louis sent her a reassuring smile along with a nod.

Anne went out of the door but Harry hasn't made any move on getting ready just yet.

"C'mon, get dressed." Louis took the towel that was still draped over Harry's head.

"Okay." Harry stood up and dropped the towel around his waist onto the floor making Louis shriek and cover his eyes.

The loud, ear piercing sound made Harry scared and he started humming quiet loudly. Louis not wanting to cause a meltdown or something like that decided to distract Harry. He uncovered his eyes because it's his husband after all.

"I'm sorry, I made a funny sound, didn't I?" Louis asked awkwardly. "C'mon now, get dressed." He said trying his best to avoid Harry's member.

"Okay." Harry skipped over to his closet and threw it open. He took a pair of sweatpants and a t-shirt.

"You need some boxers too, mister." Louis walked over to Harry's closet and looked for a pair of boxers. Seeing it's not there, he opened the other side of the closet and found boxers there. He took a pair and handed it over to Harry. "Put them on."

Harry walked over to the bed and sat on it before putting his leg into the boxer briefs. His movements were very curt.

"You're going to rip that off if you are being that rough, love." Louis commented as he watched Harry pull the boxers up roughly.

Harry didn't reply as he just hummed a one note tune under his breath and took the sweat pants before dressing himself up in that too. When it came to the t-shirt, he got stuck in, like Anne said. Louis giggled a bit at that and walked over to his husband.

"Mommy, help." Harry's voice was muffled.

"Wait. I'll help you." Louis took a hold of the t-shirt and pulled Harry's hand out and pulled the article of clothing down his torso.

"All dressed!" Louis smiled at the elder boy.

"Go downstairs?" Harry asked eyeing the door.

"Not yet, love. Show me what you have in your room, yeah?"

A/N - It was a pretty long chapter. I'm sorry if you hate long chapters and the pleasure is mine if you love long chapters. (:

What do you think Louis was thinking about doing when he said 'watch me' to Edward?

Thoughts?
