Ken's glare made chills go up and down my legs.

"Is there something you'd like to tell me, Autumn Ace?"

I looked at Nora, standing so close they were touching. She was rubbing her hands nervously. Suddenly, the mood had shifted. An elephant was hiding in the room and walking on the thin roof. We could hear the glass crack. It would break anytime.

The room was dark, and gloomy. We weren't in the dining room. We were in a fancy room in the house on the first floor. Ken, once again, threatened me to eat with them.

I hated when he would do that. We could only do things together when he threatens me?

When I paid attention to his expectant glare, I realized I hadn't yet given him an answer. I looked at my phone. Tasnim and Amber came unexpectedly to go on a walk.

I had to go.

"No." I said. I was already standing up. I turned around. But a hand stopped me from moving. Ken's. I lifted my eyes to his intense blue ones.

"do you have something worrying you want to tell me?"

I slowly shook my head. There wasn't anything. Right?

"no." they were making me very uncomfortable. Nora didn't speak once. Ken's hand squeezed my shoulder. Harder.

When I looked into his eyes, his pupils moved up, down, left and right, pausing a second each in every direction. It meant be great.

I nodded once. Then hurried out.

What the heck had happened?
