As night feel over the nature park, my fidgeting bones could contain less and less their desire to leave it.

I was scared to their core to be shot by someone or attacked.

Daniel and Tess were with me. Daniel came to know why the experience was pushed back, and when it was. I told him I didn't know. And he said, text me when you do. He tried to know what it depends on.

I refused to dive into details. What could I even say? Oh, yeah, there's this person that want to kill me. And I'm trying to get their name now, impersonating someone at their workplace. Whenever I get their name, ill report them, and we'll be good.

Yes. Not going ti happen.

Dnaiel wasn't his usual almost grumpy and really tired of lie self. He was kind, open and compassionate.

He was exactly who I though he,d be when he grows up. He was not who he was usually.

But I didn't linger on the fact more than necessary. With him, and Tess, I found myself more open, and deeply flattered by his care. He asked about work, where I lived, how I was doing. He was also very chatty with Tess.

I almost believed they worked at the same place. They had the same built, and also the same looking-out habits. When surveying the park, they did it the same way, and alternatively.

I just did it randomly.

I was having a good time. But I was also having a horrible time there.

When I looked over my shoulder the enienth time, and jumped at something touching my foot-it was nothing- Daniel asked "are you spooked ?"

"yes." I admitted, gaze down. "let's go somewhere else."

I was an outdoor person. I was a nyctophile. I loved the night and darkness. Weren't they going to ask questions.

They didn't.

"don't worry. I brought my friends to protect you. And I'm here."

"I'm here, too." Said Tasnim.

They looked at each other.

Their gesture only confirmed to me more that they knew each other, much more well than I thought.

For what reason? Daniel had never been fond of having girl friends, or reaching out to them.

What was their meeting incident then?

I had to find out tomorrow where Blake lived by following him home. So I tried to not think too much of it.

But I did.

It bothered me. Why did everyone seem so linked lately? Calumn and blake? Oxanne and Blake? Tess and Daniel?

Who was next?
