Yo, so because of remus and dees death, I'm gonna jump back in time to a week ago and follow roman and Logan's journey for the remainder of the book.
Roman was used to faster, better trained steeds than the one he and Logan were escaping on, but they were escaping, so it hardly mattered.
They were saved. Remus had saved them...he hoped that the others were alright heheheheehheeh they frickin dead boiiii
But for now he needed to foucas on logan.
"Are you alright, lo?"
Logan nodded and responded "given the circumstances, yes."
Roman sighed sympathetically.
"We will ride to the clearing me and remus discovered as children, and camp there tonight. Tomorow we set out to another kingdom, where no one knows us."
Logan seemed reassured that they had a plan.
"Very well your highness."
"It's Roman, to you. Always has been. And soon, I will be 'roman' to everyone."
They rode in silence a few minutes more lost in thought, until a chilling revelation seemed to come to the pair; the wind did not blow, the trees did not shift and the birds did not chirp. The forest was in a deafening silence.
