To put it plainly, Cecil is extremely smart and intelligent...yet he lacks social grace. He really does want to be friendly and extroverted, but he has severe social anxiety and hates crowds of people. This makes him very socially awkward and makes it hard for him to make new friends or even talk to those who aren't his close friends. He isn't rude or anything, and is actually very sweet and loving once you get to know him, just very shy and awkward. He is very loyal to his friends, and will use his mind and words to fight others and protect his friends if he has to. Ever since Jonathan was shot, he's been extremely paranoid and terrified, very jumpy.

He is very intelligent, including some street smarts, and is very loyal and loving to his friends and those he knows on a very close level.

Cecil is socially awkward, and is pretty shy, which makes it hard for him to initiate conversations.
         ɴᴇɢᴀᴛɪᴠᴇ ᴛʀᴀɪᴛs -
The male has extreme social anxiety, to the point where he has pretty bad panic attacks. This sometimes makes him seem weird or rude. He's also very easily scared, and is introverted.

Lɪᴋᴇs -
His friends, reading a good book, writing stories, drinking coffee, his pet cat (Susan), going to the bookstore, having quiet alone time, listening to music, and playing his cello

Dɪsʟɪᴋᴇs -
Being in big public places, being amongst too many other people, people who pick on him for being so quiet, loud noises, the police and detectives, and Jonathan's death

Sᴋɪʟʟs -
Cecil is very smart, and can piece things together very well. He had a way with writing things, whether it be poetry or novels, and knows a lot about lots of things. He's also a very skilled cellist.

Fʟᴀᴡs -
He has extreme social anxiety, and is very shy. He tends to have panic attacks, which can get pretty bad. Cecil is also very lightweight when it comes to alcohol, so even a little bit can get him tipsy.

Cecil has always been a quiet boy, and all through his childhood, he only had a few friends. His parents loved him, but they soon knew that something was wrong. Even though their son was very smart, he just didn't seem to be able to handle being in large groups of people. Once he was old enough, he started to see a therapist, who helped him somewhat, and led to him making his friends that he still has today. He still had severe social anxiety, though, but his parents still love and support him.
