Chapter Fourteen: The Battle for the Pearl
Dean walked through the hallway until he noticed the door was opened. He walked over to it and saw the sign, this way to the roof. The arrow pointed up at the door. Believing that he had found out where Bela disappeared to, he pulled out his phone and tried to walkie Sam.
"Sam?" Dean said. "Come in. I think I may have found Bela's little escape entrance."
"Escape?" a woman's voice said. "Who said I was escaping?"
"Who is this?" Dean said worriedly.
"Oh, I think you know exactly who it is," she continued. "Let me give you a hint. I have the pearl."
"Bela!" Dean exclaimed through clenched teeth. "You bitch, what did you do to my brother?!"
"Your brother is relaxing, tied against a pole. If you want to save him from death, you better take those stairs and save him."
"As soon as I get my hands on you, bitch, I will kill you!"
"Let's see who kills who."

With her plan unfolding before her, Bela walked back over to her table with the pearl and started getting her equipment ready. She placed the pearl in the middle of the table and placed small objects used for the ritual were placed before it.
-A cat bone
-a clam shell
The last thing that Bela needed was Sam and Dean's blood. For this ritual to work, she needed to make sure both brothers were on the roof.
"You really think Dean is going to fall for this?" Sam asked.
"I'm certain he will. No way would he want to lose his newfound brother, not after he found you." Sam was about to say something when gunshots erupted from around her. She yelled and stumbled back just as Dean raced onto the roof. An evil smile appeared on her face now that she had all the ingredients she needed. However, the only way she could get their blood was to tie Dean up. If she didn't, then things would go from bad to worse.

Sam was glad that Dean finally made it to the roof after a while of trying to find it. Shooting Bela with a gun gave Dean a chance to free him. With Bela distracted, Sam watched as his brother freed him from his binds.
"Sammy? Are you alright?" Dean asked.
"I'm fine, but we need to get that pearl away from her," Sam responded. He stood just in time for Bela to summon her henchmen, a guy named Frank Menosa and the other guy Bruce. They were determined to do exactly what Bela said. Without warning, the henchmen attacked Sam and Dean, forcing them to fight back. The brothers used whatever knowledge of fighting they knew to fight back. Dean swung his arm to punch Frank in the face, but Frank countered by grabbing him by the arm and punching Dean in the stomach. Dean groaned and stumbled back. Sam raced for the pearl and attempted to grab it, but Bela was one step ahead and grabbed the pearl as fast as she could. "Give me the pearl! Dammit!"
"I would, but I think that it's best if it lands in my hands." Bela responded and evaded each of Sam's attacks. She placed the pearl back on the table and grabbed her ceremonial dagger. Blood needed to be spilled and if that meant she had to cut him and force him to give up some of his blood, then that's what counted. She swung her blade at the same time Sam ducked from each swing. However, he glanced over at his brother and saw that Dean was losing against Bruce and Frank. That brief distraction gave Bela the opening she needed. Sam turned to quick and lifted his arm up just as the blade sliced his arm. He cried out as Bela took the blood that was on the dagger and dropped it on top of the pearl. The pearl glowed a creepy green and the smoke inside the pearl darkened.
"Sam!" Dean yelled. Sam held onto his arm just as Bruce struck Dean and kicked him toward the table. As Dean started getting up, Bela grabbed his hand and cut it with the dagger. Dean flinched at the same time Bela squeezed his blood on top of the pearl. "No!" Dean yelled, and Bela shoved him out of the way, laughing evilly.
"Looks like the cats in the other bag now, boys." Bela said, adding the last ingredients until the pearl turned dark red. Sam and Dean backed away from the pearl just as Bruce and Frank grabbed them and held onto them tightly.
"Lady, I think you mean 'cats out of the bag' I mean, if you're trying to come up with some sort of saying, that's the correct way to say it." Dean said. Sam frowned at his brother. For once, Dean needed to shut up, otherwise they were going to get into more trouble than they already were. Bela's face contorted with rage. She recited an old spell that hadn't been used in centuries. Sam glanced at his brother, whose forehead wrinkled with worry.
"Sam, that's enochian. It's heavy duty, old magic. If we don't break free from this, then she will finish the spell and use the pearl on one of us." Sam nodded and kicked Frank in between the legs. Frank cried out, his eyes watered with pain, and he released Sam. Dean followed suit by punching Bruce in the face. Bruce stumbled, releasing Dean from his tight iron grip. The brothers ran at Bela but by the time they attempted to reach for the pearl, the spell was done and Bela stepped away, a malicious laugh escaped from Bela's lips.
"Now that I have completed the spell, I think it's time that I tested it out," Bela said. "Which of you should I use this pearl on first?" She looked between Sam and Dean and her eyes landed on Dean. "Ding Dean looks like you're the winner!" Bela exclaimed and spoke a mind control spell. Sam wanted nothing bad to happen to his brother, so he pushed Dean out of the way, only to get zapped by a bright blue light. After that, everything went black.
