So, when did you first realize you wanted to write?

When I was little (like 8 or so) I would walk around in my backyard and make up little story's and such. One day I was like, "maybe other people would like this to" I never had a good enough story until now (I was also too lazy lol) but once I did start writing, I knew it was for me.

Wow that's early! What was the inspiration behind Realms? Was it easy coming up with the plot?

Well... when I first got into Wattpad, I was into Hermitcraft fanfics, then I got inspired to write one myself. I started to come up with plots and stuff, but personally, it just felt really weird to write the hermits that way, so I changed the personalities and names and little bit about the world and made Realms, it's own story rather than a fanfic, it just seemed better.

Was there any particular inspiration behind the characters or were they just born from the depths of your mind? (Ooh that was deep)

I like to base the characters off me (to an extent)
For instance one character, Steven, is sarcastic (like me) if he has a goal, he will make sure it gets done.

What do you focus on the most while writing stories? Is it how you portray the characters and their emotions, or is it more about the grammatical aspects?

Definitely more about the characters and how they would act in any given situation, not usually the grammar or formats.

Which character has been your favorite to write about, and why?

My favorite character would probably be Devin or Lizzy because of their fun bubbly personality and how they interact with the other characters in the story.
For instance, Devin is a pretty awkward guy (gee, I wonder who he was modeled after) so for some weird reason, I find it really fun to write him in social situations where he really doesn't know what to do.

What, in your opinion, is the key to writing a good story?

Good characters. If your characters are static and boring, your story will be too. If your characters have depth (not a Dr Doof backstory, but a believable life story) and a good personality, the rest of the plot will just fall in place.
Sometimes if you just let the characters be themselves, the story will just come together.

Now, this is a weird question but...
Which of your characters would you trust to cut your hair?

Lizzy. 100% Lizzy. No question about it. Maybe Ben...? Pretty much anyone but Steven.

What would you say was the hardest part of the story to write about?

Definitely the ending. I've started reading some Wattpad books that seem to never have an end goal, it feels like the book will just go on forever, and that's never good.
The ending that I have now I like, but it's still subject to change.

I feel like letting go of the characters would also be difficult.
What has been the best part of your writing experience?

I love the writing process; it is my favorite. I enjoy seeing my characters develop and become "better people" if that makes sense.
I kinda think of them like my children. At then end of the story I know I'm going to be like "THEY GROW UP SO FAST" **cries**

Lastly, is there anything you would like to tell your readers?

Uhh... I know I'm slow, but I swear I try. Also, it gets better as it goes on. The first couple chapters are slow and kinda boring, but there's more "action" as the story developes.
