"This is absolutely one of the most amazing books I've ever read. Everything about it is detailed. I love the way the title complements the cover. The thoughtfulness you put to everything is superb. Just amazing. Although the plot seemed fast paced, it didn't feel so. It felt just right. One can totally connect with characters and due to your beautiful choice of words and description, their feelings can be felt by the reader and that creates an even stronger bond with the characters. Description of the main characters were little but the pictures compensated. There were very little omissions and multiple use of some punctuations but all in all, your book is mind blowing. I look forward to reading more of your books!"

Alright well, as I said, you can call me Luv. By profession, I am a lawyer, and by passion, I am a writer!!!

Wow, a lawyer! That's really cool. You must be very busy most times. How do you still get time to write?

Now that's a question I have been asked a lot. I write at midnight. Once I'm done with all my work, I write to unwind. It's not easy but my boys call to me.

Ah, that call is extremely hard to resist, I suppose. Do you find peace in writing?

I rather go into a different dimension where there is romance, suspense, tragedy and more. So simply two people in love.

That's beautiful. Seems like a really wonderful place. When did you first realize you wanted to write?

When I was 5 years old. That's when I started writing. I have this vivid imagination.

My parents encouraged me. Well, obviously, I didn't take it up seriously until the age of 15. That's when I started writing these short novellas.

Wow. That's really amazing. Must have been great having your parent's support. Do you mean most of the books you've published on Wattpad were written when you were 15?

Nope. None of them are on Wattpad. It's all handwritten.

Do you have any intention of publishing them?

Hahahahaha obviously I'd change the grammar. I am sure I'd cringe when I read them. I can't believe I let my cousin read them. Haha. Well, she was sweet enough to say that it was good.

Many of your books are Romance. Is that the only genre you write?

Black is Romance. Untameable is more of Thriller and Mystery with subtle romance. It's a story about healing. Lan Zhan's Untamed is more fantasy based.

Hmmm, so what are the genres you like to read?

Ah, well Fanfiction, Fantasy, Romance. These three genres are something I love to read.

Well, what inspired you to write Black?

I just wanted to write a romantic story. A story where there are two matured people who just want to love each other. That's all.

How did you select your characters for Black?

Ah well I love Xiao Zhan and Yibo ( ◜‿◝ )♡I wanted to give my boys a love story that they deserve. Add to that is a beautiful world of music. I love having good friends and parents who support you. That was my aim. A world which is perfect or not so perfect in its own way.

Lol Zhan's father is my favorite character! Who's yours and why?

Zhan's parents are based on my personality and upbringing. I always joke with my parents that if ever I have a family member who is a member of the LGBTQ community, I'd happily support them even if their own don't. Oh, each and every character are dear to me. I love them all.

Awww that's sweet! It's kinda funny imagining you having that kinda personality considering all the shameless but funny things he says. What was the hardest scene to write?

Oh, I am a lot like him. I can say the most absurd things when I am close to people. Hahahaha

Hardest would be the poems I write at the start of every chapter. It needs to be perfect and I am not even a poet.

What's the scene you enjoyed writing the most?

Oh, I love writing the scenes where Zhan dominates Bo Di. I love their love basically. ( ◜‿◝ )♡

If you could change anything, what will you change?

Nothing. I just love them the way they are (◍•ᴗ•◍)❤

Is there a specific reason you made Zhan blind?

I just wanted people to "see" beyond one's disability. My reason to make Zhan blind was the same. He's a man who has accomplished so much <3. No doubt he has been judged, bruised, and scarred, but he is more human than most people who call themselves normal. Zhan is a pure heart, and I wish people see beyond disability

Well you have certainly accomplished that. Though he's blind, he's aware.

What is the main thing you try to express through your writing?

That love is genderless. You can love anyone and everyone. When I write, it's all about showing true emotions. How love can make someone so vulnerable, but at the same time, absolutely strong. Communication, loyalty, and faith is what I love to depict.

I eat and listen to music the only times I need silence is when I have a hard time acting out the scene in my head.

Who's your favourite artist then?

I listen to a lot of Korean and Chinese music. My favorite currently is the boyband EXO.

There are so many great musicians out there. It's quite difficult to point out just one.

Can you tell us one thing you learned while creating your books?

I learnt communication is important. How one can simply love without any expectations. And how one can accept just being in love.

What does your family think of your writing?

Well, my maternal side are all authors. My great grandfather was a very famous poet. My mom is an author. My uncle writes poems, so does my cousin.

Lol I see it runs in the family. So, what do you like to do when you're not writing?

I am into MMA so I am a Kickboxer, I am currently learning Muay Thai, Brazilian jiu-jitsu and Wrestling.

Oh, yes, and I did suffer one from 2015 to 2019

Well, every writer probably suffers at one point in their life. It's a sad part, but I am sure the love of their readers can help them out.

Just write what you feel. Be kind. Be humble. Be true to your feelings.

What kind of feedback do you get from your readers?

Awww I am not purposefully making you cry. I have many of them who either cry, or thank me and what touches my heart the most is when they ask me to be healthy.

Do you have any advice for other writers out there?

Well, I truly believe that there are better writers than me out there, but if someone were to ask me then I'd say this "Never be bothered too much about what you write. Just write what your heart desires. If you're true to your feelings then your writing will be appreciated. Just keep writing".
