End?

Taehyung's Pov

I leaned against the cold brick wall outside my classroom, glancing through the small glass window on the classroom door for what felt like the hundredth time.

Through it, I could see a sliver of the chalkboard and the back of the teacher's head as he paced, lecturing Jimin on why he should always focus in the classroom. This wasn't supposed to take this long. Jimin had promised he'd be out by now, and he knew I needed to use the restroom.

I was lost in thought when I heard it-a voice calling my name.

Taehyung!

I glanced over my shoulder, scanning the empty hallway for the caller. For a split second, I didn't see anyone. Then Wonyoung came into view, running toward me, worry etched on her face.

"Taehyung!" she called again, now closer to me, catching her breath from her run.

"Wony?" I said, my voice a mix of confusion and curiosity. "What happened?"

"I have major bad news."

"What?" I asked her, internally scared of what the news could be.

"I have found my future husband."

"Yes, I know you've told us countless times."

"Oh. Did I tell you he is such a pain in the-"

"Ass." We both said together. I gave her an irritated look, telling her to just shut up with my eyes.

I can finally see why Jimin doesn't like her.

God! She's annoying.

"I guess I also told you that," she laughed sheepishly. "But the worst thing about him is that he is such a cunt-"

"Dickhead-" we both said simultaneously again.

"Aha, I knew it. I haven't told the story enough yet."

Dear God.

"Gosh, Won," I ran my hand over my head. "Is that all you came to say?" I bit my lip, trying to refrain from saying anything I would later regret.

"I think so," she said, leaning against the wall beside me. "Oh wait, there's more news," she suddenly blurted out.

"What?"

"I asked around and researched a lot about the red moon, and..."

"And?"

"It's not in a few weeks but tonight."

"What?!" I shouted before covering my mouth immediately.

I really hope Jimin didn't hear that.

I wonder how I am going to tell him about it.

"Where's Jimin? I want to tell him about it," she asked, turning her head around in an attempt to find him. "Jimin! Jimin!"

I leaned in closer to her, urgency etched across my face. I glanced around to ensure Jimin wasn't nearby before I swiftly cupped my hands over her mouth, my fingers pressing gently but firmly against her lips.

My intense gaze locked onto hers. "Listen," I whispered against her ear, "I need you to promise you won't tell Jimin."

She stared at me, confused for a few seconds, before nodding her head. "You don't understand. You must never tell Jimin. I will find the right time to tell him."

Her wide eyes mirrored her surprise, the color draining from her face as she nodded slowly, understanding the gravity of my words.

My grip softened slightly, and I slowly released my hands, allowing her a breath, but not before pressing a finger to my own lips, signaling her to keep silent about what she was about to say, as I heard Jimin coming out of the classroom.

He came out of the classroom, looking at the both of us very suspiciously. "Why did you both suddenly go quiet?" he asked, his brow furrowed, casting a shadow over his narrowed eyes, which glinted with skepticism.

"No reason," I answered.

"And, Won, why were you calling me earlier?"

"It's nothing." I quickly answered for her.

He leaned slightly to one side, tilting his head as he scrutinized me carefully. "Why are you answering for her?"

"No reas-"

"It's okay." he cut me off. "Didn't you say you wanted to use the restroom? You can go, so we can get to work fast."

"Don't worry, let's go; it can wait."

Jimin raised an eyebrow, his lips pressed into a thin line as he smirked, never breaking eye contact. "Didn't you say you needed it badly, and it was an emergency?"

"Yes, I did."

"So get going; we would wait for you."

I left them, but not before giving Wonyoung one last glance.

She had better keep quiet.

Jimin's Pov

I watched Taehyung look at Wonyoung strangely before going to the restroom.

I know they are hiding something, but what?

"Let's cut to the chase. Tell me what you're hiding." I confronted her.

"Are you finally going to tell me why Mr. Park keeps looking at you and Taehyung weirdly?" she questioned me, raising a brow.

"No, never."

"So we've both come to an understanding?" she asked me, smiling victoriously.

"Yeah, I guess."

After our work, we were all on our way home, when I decided to bring up the idea I had thought of to bring Jiwon closer to Jungkook and away from Jin. But for that, Wonyoung had to get close to Jiwon again.

When I brought up the idea to them, Wonyoung completely disagreed.

I tried convincing and convincing her, but it all fell on deaf ears.

How could she be so selfish?

"Please, just help me. This new plan will work, trust me." I begged.

"No! I won't throw away my dignity for a plan that I'm sure won't work."

"Just give it a try; it will."

"It can't."

"Why do you say that? How sure are you?"

I saw Taehyung mouthing for her to keep quiet, while she just rolled her eyes at him. "Listen, you aren't going to be here after this night."

"What are you saying?"

"Get this into your head, Taehyung: it's the end. Let it go. Your red moon is coming out tonight."
