~Thomas POV~

When we first returned to the dorm after we heard the gunshot, we were all on high alert for anything suspicious.

It had been a whole day since that and we had already forgotten about it.

All three of us had been working on the project from Washington in Creative Writing.

Angie had done most of it after that Lin and Anthony kid never showed up again after that day. Neither did their other friends.

As I was typing up the last sentence of my part, I heard a knock on the door. They sounded frantic and rushed. Another series of knocks came from the door as I approached it.

When I opened the door, I was greeted be a familiar face but I couldnt decide who.

"Uh, who are you?" I asked.

"Oh! Thomas! Its James! James Hamilton?" The guy said, breathless. There was a panicked look in his eyes. Could this really be the James Hamilton from a whole year ago?

"How do I know its you?" I asked suspiciously and narrowed my eyes.

"Please just trust me. I need to ask you if you've seen Alex. You know, Alexander Hamilton, my brother."

I stared at him. Why would I be seeing Hamilton anytime soon. We hadnt seen each other in the past year? And why only now?

"No... I havent."

James (hamilton) sighed and rested his head on the door frame. A frown tugged on his mouth and his usually smiling eyes were panicked. I hadnt seen him in a year but he had changed. A lot. It looked like he dyed his hair?

Thomas watched as James closed his eyes and held two fingers to his ear and started muttering to himself. I was starting to think that this was a madman.

"But I did see someone who I thought was Alex. His hair was a little different. I dont think that helps but-" I was cut off by James.

"Where?"

"He was with this other big guy and they were going into the forest. by the library."

"Oh god. Thanks," James said and ran away.

I slowly closed the door and walked back to where I was working.

"Who was it Thomas?" Jemmy asked.

"No one really," I replied casually and looked back at my laptop.
