~Hammy POV~

My shitty life isnt so shitty for once.

For once, everything seems perfect. I found my brother, my soulmate, good grades, and great friends.

but all good things have to come to an end.

I take a deep breath and tear my eyes away from the screen i've been staring at for hours now.

"You ok sugar?" Thomas asks me, voice laced with worry. He was sitting next to me on the couch, watching tv. He rubbed my shoulders lovingly.

"You really should take a break. Rest your body."

I sighed and slowly closed my laptop. I leaned into Thomas' chest and looked up at him. He looked slightly surprised. Of course he would. I had never stopped working no matter how much anyone asked.

"A-are you ok Alex?" Thomas sounded nervous.

I nodded my head slowly.

"Alex are you sure? C'mon tell me whats happening"

"I'm just worried about James (Hamilton) I havent heard from him in almost 2 weeks. I tried to call him, text him, i walked to his apartment but he wasnt there." I began to ramble. Tears began to form in my eyes. I was so worried about him.

"Shhh. it'll be alright. We'll find him. Dont worry." He rubbed soothing circles onto my back.   It helped alot. "Lets go to bed now hm?"

I nodded and took his hand as he pulled me up.

"I'll follow you into bed. I just need to do something." I reached for my laptop and opened it. He nodded and gave me a kiss on my head.

I heard him fall onto our bed. Soon enough, he was snoring loudly.

I worked a few more minutes before I decided to go to bed. I got up and as I walked to our room, I heard a soft knock. I turned around to open the door. At this point, we were used to getting our friends coming at any point in the day or night.

When I opened the door I gasped at who it was.

My brother.

He had a shit eating grin on his face. I tackled him in a hug. I then stepped back and bitch slapped him. Twice.

"Where the fuck were you?!" I yelled in a hushed whisper so i didnt wake up Laf or Tommy.

"Well i'll just ignore the fact that you slapped me and tell you the good news." He said as he dragged me by the arm to the couch.

"What was so good that you had to dissappear for almost two weeks and leave me worried sick?"

"Dad."

"What are you talking about?" I said quietly, more curious now. "Spill"

"Well, two weeks ago, i was walking in the park when I just happened to stumble into Dad! I was so shocked and we said our hi's. We started to talk and eventually he told me that he came here to bring us back into the spy agency!" At this point his voice was beginning to rise in volume so I had to shush him down. "He said that he gonna take both of us back! I already went on one mission and it was great! You need to join me Alex!" James kept on talking about how great it was. I almost didnt believe him. Life as a spy again?

"He wants to meet you tomorrow after classes in the park." James said excitedly. "He said he wants to talk to you about joining. Oh! And..." He reached his arm next to my ear. I pushed his arm away and realized what he was trying to do. He was going to turn on the hidden earpiece embeded into my ear. I had turned it off a long time ago when I couldnt use it anymore. I forgot about that. I turned it on.

"Why do I have to turn this on? It doesnt work anymore," I asked him.

He pressed two fingers to his earpiece and said, "Because this."

I gasped as I heard his voice in in my earpiece. I grinned at him and said, "I guess we're back!"
