There was a big party going on, part of CatCo to the magazine of Supergirl. With a blond woman having her hair in a bun, blue eyes with glasses and a green dress walking bit shy... that was Kara, until she sees many people taking pictures of someone walking in. She looks back seeing Winn in a bit of shock.

Kara: *whispering* W-What's happening?

Winn: You don't know?

She looks again seeing a man wearing a grey suit, black shirt though the top of the black button was unbuttoned, he had blue eyes and a medium but combed black hair.

Winn: That is "Toby Englander."

Kara stayed looking at him bit paranoid. Toby was walking by the people holding a glass of champagne talking to Maxwell Lord.

Kara: Excuse me...

They see Kara acting a bit shy.

Kara: Can I... steal him for a minute.

Maxwell: Sure. *to Toby* You just keep winning more of them, huh?

Toby: Well...

Maxwell: I'll leave you to it.

Toby nodded as he looked at Kara... she looked familiar.

Kara: I'm sorry that I had to... break the conversation Mr. Englander.

Toby: I-It's fine. Um, and your name is...

Kara: Oh. Kara... Kara Danvers.

He shook her hand while keeping a smirk... a fake one.

The two were slow dancing, but their conversation was a pretty low one.

Kara: Many people don't really have fond to Maxwell Lord, just surprised he has other rich friends... no offense.

Toby: None taken. But they believe he can do good, better than Luthor. I trust him more than someone like Superman.

Kara: Why's that?

Toby: Putting a trust on an alien who could burn down his entire city, and now Supergirl?

Supergirl was being attacked by Reactron... getting killed as she looks to the sky, a blurry vision but saw a figure with a long cape.

Toby: In a sense, she is still too naïve for what she's doing. National City has too much faith on her.

Kara: Not sure many would agree with your opinion Mr Englander.

Toby: I know, but that's my point of view, you can thank Gotham for that.

Kara frowned a little but she heard his heartbeat... it was beating in rage.

(Stops at 0:57)

They saw someone walk to them which was James/Jimmy Olsen.

Jimmy: Mind if a cut in?

Toby: Sure, it was a quick dance. *lets go of Kara* She's all yours Mr. Olsen.

He walks away as he looks bit confused on how he walked.

Jimmy: Is it me or is he... weird?

Kara: Not sure.

This Year

Toby wearing a Superman like costume landed, his suit was black, with grey boots and grey cape, and the S symbol he had look unnatural, morphed and backwards.

???: You have no idea what Zu-El can do.

Supergirl was talking with her Aunt Astra who was in a Kryptonite cell.

Astra: Zod considered him to be the strongest of us all. Do not fight him!

Toby or his real name... Zu-El walked forward as chained was Alex Danvers bit injured. Supergirl looked incredibly worried as she tried to hear her sister's screams or at least her voice.

Alex: What has she done to you?

Alex screamed at Zu-El who stood tall against her.

Zu-El: Her whore of a mother killed my father more than 20 years ago.

A kid Zu-El saw many guards holding someone back as he saw a pale hand try and reach Zu-El who was about to be sent to Fort Rozz.

Kid Zu-El: *Kryptonese* DAD!!!

Zu-El: The daughter will pay the sins of the mother.

Cat Grant was in her balcony seeing Zu-El floating while it was night and there was a rainstorm.

Hank: Do not face him, Kara. The only thing he wants is your death.

Kara was taking steps back, her entire hair and costume was wet as she could hear the rainstorm outside but in fear she saw Zu-El floating in front of her with his eyes glowing red. She goes to attack him but she gets tackled through the floor by Zu-El.

Hank: It's suicide.

Supergirl threw a few punches which dropped blood... but it was her own knuckles' blood as Zu-El grabbed her wrist as he delivered a right hook, leaving a small shockwave as she spilled blood.

???: You want my advice? Don't fight him.

Supergirl looked at Non as a ship was sent flying to the sky.

Non: You run... and you keep running.

Zu-El walked through green smoke as he also was getting shot by glowing green bullets though they just bounced off.

Non: He is a hunter... and his prey never escapes.

Zu-El throws a punch at Martian Manhunter who phases and goes to throw a punch at the Kryptonian who quickly catches the punch and he quickly punches back before he could even phase.

Zu-El: It's time for you to pay for your mother's sins, Kara.

Supergirl was crawling bloody but behind was Zu-El, floating behind her. Zu-El was being hugged by a pale man with long black hair as the Kryptonian... cried, it was his father.

???: Happy Birthday, Kryptonian.

Supergirl saw some kind of monster stuck in Zu-El's body as Martian Manhunter traded blows with a big yellow skinned alien.

???: My gift... oblivion.

A kid hid behind Zu-El as he had his arm extended as Supergirl looked shocked and also bit sad as in the background... it was the destruction of their own planet, Krypton, as now the planets explode, cutting to the title.

The Past Haunts Us All

Supergirl was under the rain storm looking around.

Supergirl: Where did he go?!

Alex: *comms* I don't know, he flew to the sky and... THE MOON!!!

Supergirl looked and used her enhanced vision, just to look at the moon very clear... but what scared her... was that Zu-El was standing on top of the moon... he was in space... on top of the moon, as he set flight, creating a shockwave which cracked the moon slightly.

First chapter is under work, gonna leave this as I finish the chapter.
