Mithra was shocked to core and turned pale . Sathish was looking at her concernedly . 

Mithra : Accident  ah ? Eppo ? Enga ? Epdi ? Ippo vijay enga irukaan ? Epdi irukaan ? Edhavadhu serious ah ?

Sathish : Cool ...Cool ... Avlo serious laam illa . Just oru head injury and leg fracture . Avlo dhaan !!! 

Mithra : Yow ennaya just nu solra ?! Ippo vijay enga irukaan ?

Sathish : Sunshine hospital ...

 Mithra : Oh ! Aama nee yen ippo college ku vandha ? 

Sathish : Adhu oru thaapa H.O.D ya meet panni oru one week leave aplly pannalaam nu . 

Mithra : Hmm , aprom thirumbi hospital ku eppo poga pora .... 

Sathish : Lunch hour ku aprom....

Mithra : Next hour la pogalama ? 

Sathish nodded a yes thoughtfully .

Mithra : Ok !!! Thanks ... Naan varen . 

She  said  that and then came back to the group waiting for her in the cafeteria . They all looked anxiously for an answer . But she straightly went to Anirudh and sat in front of him . Anirudh cocked an eyebrow confusedly .... 

Mithra : Ani nee next hour la free ya ? 

Ani : Aama !!! But why ? 

Mithra : Hospital ku ponum . 

Ani : Yean di ?! Enna di aachu ?Edhavadhu problem ah ? 

Mithra : Adhu ... 

Ani : Ennadhu ? 

Mithra : Nethu night Vijay ku accident aachu . 

Ani was shocked to the core just like everyone else . 

Iyappan : Accident ah ? Avanga edhuvume kudikalaye aprom epdi ? 

Shashank : Dei summa iruda . 

Sajith : Niruthunga da ! Mithra ippo epdi irukaaru ? 

Mithra : Theriyala aana Sathish onnum serious illa nu sollitaan . Ippo sunshine hospital la irukaan . 

Ani : Onnum serious illaye lunch hour ku aprom poi paarthukalaam . 

Mithra : Illa , next hour la Sathish poran naamalum avanoda porom . 

Ani : Please di , Lunch hour ku aprom pogalam . Ennakku vela irukku . 

Mithra : Nee varuviya illa naane pogattum ah ? 

Ani : Iru iru nan varen . 

Angelina : Naanum varen . 

Sreyas : Naangalum varuvom ( pointing at all the boys except for Anirudh )

Shriya & Madhu : Naagalum dhaan .

Aditi : Appo naanum varuven . 

Ani : Seri appo ellarum pogalaam . 

Timeskip 1 hour 

Vijay's POV 

"Paaah !!! Intha hospital days irukke eppovume boring dhaan ." I thought to myself and picked up the TV remote which was on the table beside me . " Ah !! " I screamed softly as the hand I stretched had a saline injected in to it . 

" Cha !!! Indha hospital karangal eppovume ipdi dhaan , eppovume epdi panam ethalam nu dhaan yosipaaru . " I said irritated . Well what else do you expect ?! My injuries would have healed with normal first aid itself . The fracture would have taken time but there was no need of this boring room or the saline or the packet full of capsules I had to take . I switched on the T.V. To make the situation worse there was nothing interesting coming not even any songs or stuff . So , I switched it off . 

I glanced around the room to find something interesting . My eyes gleamed when I found my phone on the couch . " My lifeline " I muttered and somehow grabbed it . I switched it on and like every other youngster went to social media . Anirudh's Kalyana Vayasu was still trending and as a matter of fact I liked it too . Will tell it to him the next time I meet him .

 So , I plugged in went to gaana and started listening to songs . Then came the soulful Suttrum vizhi sudare . This was my sister's first movie . She liked it so much and would sing it again and again . She was just five and sang it beautifully . My thangachi !!! I used to love her more than anything in this world . Tears trailed down my cheeks as her memories played beautifully in front of my eyes . If she was alive now things would have been way better . This was Aishu's favourite song too . I can't believe I lost all of them . 

Suddenly some one knocked . I wiped of all the traits of my tears drank water . Who is it anyway ? It's most probable that it is Sathish but he was supposed to come after lunch hour so somewhere near 1:00 . Doubtfully I said " come in ". Sathish walked in first and then followed by few others who gave me one heck of a shock . 

 WHAT ???????? Isn't this Mithra ? Why is she here ? Not just her why is everyone else here ? I death glared at Sathish . I told him not to tell anyone . I told him to keep it a secret and come alone and now he brought a cricket team along . I imaginary slapped myself . But even in all this fuss I managed to maintain a smile . Then I greeted all of them one by one  at last came Mithra .

 Gosh !!!! This girl ..... she was a girl every boy would dream of ..... she was beyond perfect . She was looking at me with eyes filled of love and an affectionate smile . That smile ripped me off and those eyes they reminded me of Aishu . A single thought of her was enough to make me feel sad . But Mithra here made me feel happy . Wait !!!! What am I doing ???? I am doing the same mistake again . After all that has happened . Huff !!!  "Venam Vijay ..... Vidu ...Ippo nee Mithra va virumbi avalum unna vittu pona ...... yean da ..... she has a good life and you .... you are such an unstable soul..... thirumbi edhavadhu nadandha unnala ethukka mudiyadhu ..... vidu  !!!!"  I thought to myself while maintaining a fake smile .  

Mithra's POV 

We all rushed in to the hospital and then in to the ward and Vijay's room . Sathish knocked earning a soft but deep " come in " . We all went in and stood there in a line . Vijay was just sitting there and just like Sathish said , he had a fracture and an injury on fore head . He was surprised to see us all as expected . He smiled at us and greeted all of us one by one . I was at the end of the line and was waiting for him to come to me . When he did I smiled at him affectionately and showed all the love . He returned with a smile equally affectionate and looked in to my  eyes . Those eyes .... they are the first and foremost reason I fell for him . They were so deep but suddenly all the love in them changed into despair and sorrow . I looked closely and realized his eyes were slightly red . Had he been crying ? No , why would he ? Although my head was full of thoughts the room was so completely silent . Which Ani broke !!!! I thank him for that .... 

Anirudh : Ippo epdi irukaanga Vijay ? 

Vijay : Fine dhaan . 

Angelina : Kaal lam ok va ?

Sreyas : Thalakkum avlo periya bandage irukku !!! 

Vijay : Perusu laam illa chinna adi dhaan . 

Madhu : Inga kaal ku thala ku ivlo periya bandage irukku chinna adi nu solranga !!! 

Vijay : Adhulaam indha hospital kaarnagal oda vela ma . 

Shriya : Naagalum medicos dhaan , entha adi ku entha bandage veppaanga nu engalukku theriyadha ?

Vijay : Ippo nee padichittu thaane irukka !!! Poga poga theriyum . 

Everyone laughed at that statement . 

Mithra : Eppo discharge aaga poringa ? ( anxiously ) 

Vijay : Indha 'nga'va vidalame !!! Naama ellarum ore college la orre batch la thaane padikurom . So formalities venam . 

Anirudh : Seri Machan . 

Vijay : Ok nanba . 

Everyone chuckled slightly at the sudden chemistry between them .

Aditi : Aama bro Mithra ketta kelvi ku badhil sollaliye ? 

Vijay : Naalaike discharge aaganum nu try panren . 

At that moment a nurse entered with some tablets . 

Vijay : Yean ma !!! 2 hours ku munnadi dhaane kuduthiteenga !!!! 

Nurse : Indha schedule eh apdi dhaan sir .

Vijay let out an annoyed pout showing his rejection . 

Sathish : Kozhandha maadhiri pannadha Vijay . Nee injection edukka maaten nu sonnadha naala dhaan ivlo tablets kudukuraanga . 

Vijay : Dei ( gritting his teeth ) 

He took the tablets angrily and sighed . Everyone laughed at his actions . 

Vijay : Aama ungalukku laam classes illaya ?! 

Anirudh : Aama la !!! 

Vijay : Classes attend panna venama ?! Ponga .... 

Iyappan : Attend panalum onnum use illa ... 

Vijay : Ippo varikum okay aana idhu 4th year .

Shashank : Classes bunk panradhu ennakku sarva saadharanam !!! 

Vijay : Adhu romba thappu .... 

Sajith : Enna bro nee life la classes bunk eh pannalaya ? 

Vijay : Naan padichappo  bunk panna class la oru aalum iruka maatan . So lecturers class eh solla maataanga naagalum edhuvum miss aagamatom . Gap kedaicha apdi dhaan ..... andha gap la end la samalichuruvom . But neenga apdi illaye ... 

Sreyas : Paathiya neeye sollita !!! 

Vijay : Ungalukku indha month end la internal unit exams irukku . Adhula fail aana ?!

Everyone looked at each other and realised he was right . So one by one they all agreed and decided to go back to college . 

Iyyappan : Poradhukku munnadi kadaisiya onnu kekanum . 

Shashank : Andha kelvi dhaane ? 

Sajith : Dei summa iru da .

Vijay : Avan ah solla vidunga ya .

They both tried to explain but were cut off by Iyappan who started speaking .

Iyappan : Adhu neenga dhaan kudikalaye , aprom epdi accident aachu ? 

Shashank and Sajith slapped their foreheads . Vijay and Sathish starred at him confusedly while everyone else glared at him .

Vijay : Adhu vandhu ..... naanga kudikala pa , aana engala edhira vandhavan kudichittu vandhaan ... adhaan idichitu ponaan . 

Iyappan : Oh !!!

Everyone said their byes and started leaving one by one even Sathish came out to see them off . When suddenly Mithra said " Oru nimisham " and went back to Vijay . Vijay looked at her with a shocked face.... 

Mithra : Engala nee moonavadhu aal ah treat panra la ? 

Vijay : Adhulaam onnu illaye !!! 

Mithra : Engala kooptu vandhadhuku unnakku oosi poda pudikathu nu solladhukku nee Sathish ah paartha paarva ennakku purinjudhu . ( she said pointing out firmly ) 

Vijay : Adhu accident aachu nu yaarkittayum solladha nu sonnen , adhaan . 

Mithra :  Yean ?! Sathish alavukku illanaalum naangalum unga friends dhaan . Enga kitta solradhukku enna ?! 

Vijay : Adhu .... 

Mithra : Hey nee indha college la first meet panna aalu naan dhaan . Enna marandhuradha !!!! 

Vijay : Maaten ....

Hope it was okay at least !!! 

I wrote this on Wednesday itself but was waiting for time . 

P.S : I rewrote it  thrice ... this might be why it is a bit sucky . 

And I mentioned the tamil version in the chap but put the telugu version in the medium . It's because the telugu version is a bit close to me as Ghajini was the first movie I watched in theatre and I used this song over and over .
