I was walking home with Sathish . We were talking about some random things when a group of girls walked past us . Sathish stopped abruptly and looked back . I sighed at him and made him face me ... 

Vijay : Enna kuru kuru nu paakra ? 

Sathish : Dei andha ponna paaru da !! Evlo sexy ah irukka ??!! 

Vijay : Oru ponna paatha odane ipdi vaai vittriye da ... 

Sathish : Adhula enna thappu ??? 

Vijay : Dei unnakkulaam yaaruda drug control chief vela kudutha !!! 

Sathish : Dei andha ponna oru pacha tamizh ponnu maari therinjudhu .... adhaan sonnen . 

Vijay : Yaaru andha ponnu ah unnakku oru pacha tamizh ponna therinjudhu ??? 

Sathish : Aama andha ponnu dhaan . 

Vijay : Dei she is a telugite da !!! 🤦‍♂️

Sathish : Thanks macha nalla information kudutha !!! Naalailirundhu telugu la try panren . 

Vijay : Year start aana odane velaiah aarambichitiya ???? 

Sathish : Paah !! Look who is talking ? 

I glared at him confusedly .... 

Sathish : Naan pesittu thaane iruken neenga execute eh panniteenga . 

Vijay :  Yaar ah paththi da pesura ? 

Sathish : Therila unnakku therla ??!! 

Vijay : Dei ..... 

Sathish : Mithra pathi dhaan . 

I lowered my head with a slight smile . 

Sathish : Whoa !!! You are blushing appo confirm dhaan . 

Vijay : Dei adhellam onnu illa !!! 

Sathish : Year end-u kulla neenga rendu perum oru couple ah maaruvaanga . 

Vijay : Naan solren la ! Adhullam illvae illa !!! 

Sathish :  Aprom eppo propose panra ? ( tauntingly)

Vijay : Adhellam panna maaten da . 

Sathish : Oho😝 appo avaraye propose panna vechuveengala ?

Vijay : Ava pannalum naan accept panna maaten .

Sathish : Ippo ipdi dhaan solluveenga aana poga poga !!! 

Vijay : Eppovume idhu dhaan . (Firmly )

Sathish : Ippo irukura indha seriousness  laam aprom kadhal la dissolve aagidume . 

Vijay : Thaana vandhu mithra ve propose pannalum .....naan avana indha ulagathula ellathayum vida virumbunaalum ... naan accept panna maaten . 

Sathish : Yean da ? ( shocked and serious )

He attempted to get an answer out of me but I just ignored and walked away . After all that has happened ... considering what I really am .... I can't love some girl and spoil her life . I have already lost so many precious people ... the pain is still  tearing me apart . All this love talk has reminded me of my lovely family . The thought of going through the pain again itself is killing me . It would only be idiocy to do something like that again . 

Later that day ....

Normal pov 

Vijay was a bit upset but he didn't show it . Sathish , understanding it , was trying his best to make him happy . The whole evening went like that . When the mood was becoming  lighter , they received a call to the party the CESCO would organise everyday to welcome freshers of all the five colleges and the coming academic year . The party started very late . People were sitting in groups.... chatting happily , some were dancing others were singing . But some VIPs not being bothered by any of these and were having a special and solo time  . Vijay and Sathish were one of those , all the while they were just hitting the bombastic buffets ( Soru is bae , you see .) Suddenly Sathish's phone rang ....   

Sathish : Ippo yaaruda ?

Vijay : Seeikram poi attend panni vaada . 

Sathish left . Vijay lifted his head up from his plate and gazed around the room . He stopped when he met a soft gaze emerging from cute eyes . 

Mithra's POV 

These parties are always fun , especially when you have a gang like mine . We were like wild pigs , running around .... singing songs and dancing although we were very horrible at it . I was getting hungry and on top of that , the food placed here was enough to make my mouth water . 

Mithra : Is anyone hungry ? 

Anirudh : Unnakku pasikudhu na nee poiyi saapdu . Naanga innum aada vendiyadthu nariya irukku . 

Mithra : Dei yaarachum company kudunga da !!!! 

Iyyapan: Ada  po ma nee poyi saapdu . 

Mithra : Dei please da pasikudhu !!!  

Shriya : Ippo anga llame pheonix college pasanga dhaan  irukaanga . 

Mithra : Irundha enna ??? 

Madhu : Andha colege la nariya perukku DIA college pasanga na especially 4th years na pudikadhu . avanga nadavula yean saapdanum !!! 

Mithra : Apdi onnum aagadhu di .... vaanga . 

Iyappan : Naanga laam vara maatom Mithra ..nee po . 

Everyone nodded agreeing with him . I realised no one was coming with me now , I sighed in anger and went away to eat all by myself . I stuffed my plate with all the food available . The food was so heavenly but then my lack of company was upsetting me . I gazed around and it finally met with a charming gaze . Those eyes were so beautiful and cute but at the same time were so manly and mass . 

I at once knew whom they belonged to . After all they are the ones who disturbed me so much . I smiled at him and said " Hi Vijay !!! " while waving at him . He returned me the smile and my Hi ! I gestured him asking if I could come over to him . He gestured answering affirmatively . I went and sat down with a smile ... 

End of Mithra's POV 

Vijay : Enna akka , unga gang laam enga ??? 

Mithra : Avanga angadhaan irukaanga .... enakku pasikudhu adhaan vandhu saaptitu irukken . 

Vijay : OH !!! Apdiya .... appo nee thaniya saapduriya ka .

Mithra : Hey please akka nu koopdaatha epdiyo oru maari irukku .. 

Vijay chuckled while Mithra glared at him .

Mithra : Aama nee ippove vandhiya ??? 

Vijay : Illaye eppovo ettu mani ke vandhen . 

Mithra : Apdiya  naan paakave illa  ??? 

Vijay : Epdi paaruva .. naan laam inneram inga dhaan suthittu iruken eh !!! 

Mithra : Yean andha pakam varalaame ??

Vijay : Tch .. (with a sad pout ) Anga onnume illaye ... sathish uhm inga dhaan irukan soru uhm inga dhaan irukku .   

Mithra's MV : Ada paavi anga  naan iruken la !! 

Mithra : Hey anga ellarum naala unkaandhu onna friendly ah pesikiraanga .... 

Vijay : Pesunaaaaa ??? 

Mithra : sutham  ...andha groups la nariya freshers laam join aaguraanga . Neeyum vaa pa enga kooda laam pazhigiko . 

Vijay : Apdiye naan vandhalum en kooda laam yar pesuvaanga ???

Mithra : Enna tappu nu apdi sollita !!! Unna paartha apiye warm ah homely feel varudhu  ... enga veetu pulla mari .... Nee vandhu paaru ellarum un pakkam thirumbiduvaanga . 

Vijay smiled at something and was about to say something  but stooped himself when he saw something . 

Mithra : Enna aachu ??? 

Vijay : Avanaga laam pheonix college pasanga dhaane ? ( Pointing at some people ) 

Mithra : Aama avanga dhaan (irritated tone ) epovum nammaloda sanda pottutu . 

Vijay : Hmm ... adhula nariya drug addicts irukaanga nu kelvi patten . 

Mithra : Namma college enna kammiya idhulaayum sila per irukaanga aana avanga vida kammi dhaan . But andha college layum pala nalla per irukaanga . 

Vijay : Unnakku andha college kaarangal theriyumah ?

Mithra :  Hmm en colony la Yazhini nu oru ponnu irukkum ..avarukku college la irukura ellarume theriyum .... avar moolyama ...... nee sonniye druggists avanga kooda sila per theriyum ... and zumba class layum 

Vijay : Nee zumba class ku poviya ???

Vijay : Huh !! Idhulaam oru party naan inga aadanum !!! Po ma .. 

Mithra : Aada theriyadhu na aada theriyadhu nu sollu ... ipdi party ah insult pannadha ... 

Vijay smiled at her while she got up ... 

Mithra : Naan finish panniten ..bye 

Vijay : Bye ..

 She left huffing and puffing .

Vijay : Ivlo neram naa oru spoon kooda saapdala ava epdi pesikitte motha plate uhm finish pannita ?? Indha trick ah kathukanum .... 

Meanwhile with Mithra 

Mithra was thinking about Vijay , " Enjoy panna varadhu , dance panna vardhu  , periya vantan party ah comment panna " she muttered with a sigh . The DJ started playing the music . Mithra looked at the crowd and smirked " Ippo naanga ellaarum aduvom , avan paarthu kathukanum ." Everyone started dancing when suddenly the DJ stopped . 

DJ : Hey dudes ...  this one is the most special song of the day ...everyone enjoy ... 

He announced and started playing it , Mithra was expecting everyone to go nuts with the song's beat , but everyone stayed put and began watching some one and then slowly one by one joined . She turned back to see who was the lead and was shocked ....

Iyappan : Adha vidunga pakkam aadunadhu Vijay dhaane ???

Iyappan : Insult panniya ? Engalukku sollama Naanga illama insult panniya ?  

Mithra : Dei ... Aama avan enge ?

Everyone let out a disappointed sigh .

Meanwhile with Vijay 

Normal POV 

Vijay and Sathish were heading back to home . Vijay was driving the car .  

Sathish : Macha enna macha nee ??? 

Vijay just smiled at him widely . 

Sathish : Dei unmayaa sollu , nee dance classes ku poita la ? 

Vijay : Illa da adhu 

Suddenly a light flashed on his face , a bike was about to hit the car . In attempt to avoid it he took a turn . The sudden jerk took the car out of his control . They went and hit the pole beside . Sathish jerked forward whereas Vijay hit the steering . Sathish hurt his head slightly and looked at Vijay rubbing his forehead . Vijay was lying on the steering unconciously .Sathish called out to him , but not even an inch of movement or ounce of reaction came from Vijay .  Sathish freaked out  seeing him like that ... " Machan ...dei  Vijay " He shouted while shaking him .
