Gilbert's POV

Science Month came again. Next week pa kami gagawa for the display. I swiped my Instagram story that Natasha's in Ashley's house with 2 boys. I immediately called her. What she's doing there?

After I called her I knew that they will make their Science Project for the display too. I went to the grocery para bumili na rin ng snacks for her since malapit lang naman bahay nila Ashley dito.

"Kuya Anche! Saan ka pa pupunta we have church service pa, right?" Alora asked me. She's wearing a dress.

"We have?" I replied. Confused.

" Yes!" She nod

"Una na kayo. Susunod na lang ako."

Since I already took a bath— I changed my wear into black slocks and a white dress shirt. I already went to the store and I saw a familiar face.

"Oh! Chaste! Bakit ka nandito?" I asked him. He's Chaste. Kapag may mga section competitions lagi ko silang nakakalaban with my section. Mga palaban kasi sila. 

"May b-binili lang. Sige na, paalam!" Maikli niyang sabi. Hindi naman bago 'to sa kaniya dahil ganito talaga 'tong tao.

"Ge, bro!" Pagpapaalam ko sa kaniya. 

I bought some chips and biscuits for her. I used my bike para makapunta sa bahay nila Ashley.

" Ingat!" The last thing I heard coming from my darling.

I immediately smiled while I'm riding the bike. Agh! Stop. Baka ma-semplang pa ako! I went to the place and I saw my churchmates.

" Hays! Sakto na ba 'to, bieh?" I heard. I knew it's coming from Leigh, isa sa mga kaibigan ni Natasha. She's talking to Alora.

I just ignored them. Since I'm the guitarist-- I directly went to the stage para ma-tune ko pa.

"Leigh! Why you're wearing a lipstick? Papagalitan tayo ni pastor niyan!" I heard Alora that made my head shook. Mga bata talaga.

Recognition day came! Finally! Goodbye Filipino, full of Performance Tasks. I went to the blue post in the court of our school.

" Ma! Nasa'n na sila Alora?" I asked them

" Ayon! Hinahanap si Ezekiel!" What? Ezekiel was lost?

" Gano'n ba ma? Wait hanapin ko." I said " Saan ba sila last na pumunta?"

Tinuro ni Mama yung parang mini-forest sa school namin. Nasa likod yung ng left court namin. Malapit sa Mathay Building.

Minutes passed I didn't saw someone. I just saw students wearing their uniforms with medals and stuff and makeups. I decided to come back.

" Congrat's po kuya!" The random girl replied and she chuckled

" Omg! Siya si Gilbert ng STE, diba?" I heard from the group of girls.

" Pa-pic po kami!!!" I saw the girls. Agh! Kinikilig pa amp.

I just made a fierce look and not looking in the cam.

" Omg! Ang gwapo mo po talaga!" And they vanished.

I went back to them and I saw a woman.

" Salamat po Mrs. De Verra!" Banggit ni Mama.

Did I hear it right? De Verra?

I asked the woman if she knew, Natasha Shane. And she said it's her daughter. Also, she was the one who found Ezekiel.

" Thank you po ulit, Mrs. De Verra," My Sister Alora mentioned.

" You're Welcome, hija. And if you need to lock that kid with you, you need to so he can't be lost" Mrs. De Verra lessoned.

" Mama! Bibili lang po kami palamig ni Ezekiel."  I saw Alora looked frowned. While Ezekiel's crying.

" Hey! Alora." I called her attention.

" Oo na kuya! Sorry na! Okay?" She pleased " Sorry naaaa!"

I made a fierce look and I kneeled a knee para same heigh kami ni Ezekiel.

" Are you fine? Wanna buy candy with kuya?" I wiped his tears

I saw he nod " Yes po."

I just gave a money to Alora. I forgot na hindi ko pa pala nababati si Natasha. Agh! I just need to. Boyfriend duty naman.

Before the Summer came, Ate Lita was hospitalized. But they have good news. Ate Lita and Kuya Roland will have a baby! I'm proud of them. Kuya Roland and Natasha went outside-- I don't know why. So I just talk to Ate Lita.

" Kumusta po?" I asked.

" Ayos lang, hijo!" Ate Lita replied.

" Ka-ano-ano po ba kayo ni Natasha?" I continually asked.

" Ano ba?" She's thinking " Sabi nila housemaid. Pero si Natasha hindi lang yaya ang turing sa akin. Parang pamilya ko na nga sila eh."

" Tapos, naging ganito pa ang buhay. " she said.

" It's not your choice naman po." I stated.

And Ate Lita told a joke that made me laugh.

Summer came and I call Tita Lynne, Mommy ni Natasha-- if I can join Natasha in their team building with their employees. It's kinda weird pero gusto kong makasama si Natasha sa buong summer ko. Tita Lynne agreed with me basta I'll be responsible. Hindi ako nakatulog buong gabi kaka-prepare ng mga isusuot ko para bukas.

" Ito, anak! Idagdag mo 'to sa isusuot mo." Inabot sa akin ni mama yung dress shirt na may pagka-Hawaiian touch.

" Brand new, Ma?" I asked.

" Siyempre! Sige na. Matulog ka na, ha. Para may energy ka." She ordered me.

I took the private bus with the employees. Pinakilala na ako ni Tita sa mga tao sa bus and I have an ID too. 'Guest'.

While I'm walking in the aisle I saw a familiar face in the front seat. Hindi ako nagkakamali na si Earl 'yon. I sat in the middle.

" Hey! Avie!" Pakilala ng babaeng nasa bintana. She wore a beach glass. She's too prepared for this, huh.

I gave her a hand " Gilbert."

" Anak ka ba ni Madam?" She questioned.

" Nope." I chuckled and pinakita ko yung ID

" Ay! Taray. Guest." The last thing I heard from her.

Ate Avie and Kuya Jah joined me in the hotel. I don't know pero mabilis naman silang pakisamahan and tatlo rin naman yung available na bed.

It's already in the evening and I went on the balcony looking at the waves. And I suddenly saw a notification coming from my Instagram Story.

@natashanexx mentioned you in a story.

I opened her story and I saw 'only you' under the moon. Kung sana alam niya lang na nandito rin ako. Pero masisira lang yung plan na gagawin ko for tomorrow night.

I just messaged her ' I miss you, my darling.'

And I called her the whole night.

I woke up late. Sht! Naalala ko pala na may team building kaninang umaga!

I saw a note in the table

' We didn't wake you up. Ang ganda ng tulog mo eh.

                                     - Ate mong Avie'

It made my head shook. HAHA! I went to the bathroom to take a bath and also to brush my teeth. Siguro ayos na rin na hindi ako nagpakita sa team building.

Evening came. I told to her that I'm coming and I hang up the call.

I just wear a sando and an unbuttoned white dress shirt. I partnered it with board shorts.

" Bro! Sa'n ka gagala?" Kuya Jah suddenly asked me. He was in bed watching the news.

" A-ah, lalabas lang po." I stuttered.

" Get this! Para dagdag porma." He gave me the Nike black cap. " Gwapo ka pa naman. Catch some girls tonight."

I smirked. If he only knows, Natasha Shane is my only girl.

I went downstairs. And wala pa rin siya. Where are you, darling?

I didn't even dare to look at my phone. I want to see her. Come on!! Pakita ka na please--

" Hey, darling!" I waved to her. Oh! god, she's freaking beautiful.

" H-how did you come here?" She asked, stuttering. Can't believe that I'm physically here.

" Just let's go, first." I said. I intertwined our hands. I want to say that she's only mine. I want a romantic place para masabi yung totoong nararamdaman ko. I feel cheater nung recognition day because of the girls na nag-aaproach sa akin. Kaya gusto ko bumawi.

We're now walking in the sand. Hawak-hawak ko pa rin yung kaniyang mga kamay. I think she can hear my heartbeat dahil sa tunog ng alon lang yung naririnig namin. I'm loving what's happening now.

I stopped by in the middle of the place. Sakto. I dragged her to the coconut trees.

" U-uh?" She asked. Why so curious?

" I just want to feel the vibes now," I replied.

" Y-yes." She said, " So, how'd you get here?"

I looked at her " Long story short, I talked to your Mum on the phone and she agreed. If you will ask me, I rode the bus with the employees. Nakita ko nga sa front seat si Earl! The boy we saw sa cinema." I mentioned. I can't hide my jealousy with that Earl.

" Ugh! Mum, again. " She fixed my hair with her hand. Why are you doing this to me, Natasha? Agh! " Why you didn't join the competition earlier?"

" Ewan" I laughed " Baka masyado lang ako napuyat and I woke up late." It's true though.

" Would you mind?" I asked her.

" What?" She asked.

" To sit." I smiled.

" Yes, we can," She agreed. We sat in the sand looking at the waves. I just want to enjoy the moment with her.

" U-uhm, Darling," I said looking at the sea.

" Yeah?" She looked at him.

" Remember the first time we met because of that stupid bottle of water?" I laughed. Reminiscing those days that I bumped her. 

" Don't remember that.. thing or event!" She angrily mentioned that made me chuckled.

" Alam mo ba kung bakit sigurado akong mahal kita?" I looked serious now. I formed my brows furrowed and my jaws are aggressive. "Because I chose you every single day." I continued, smiled. And I really meant it.

" Why did you said that?" 

" Nothing." I shrugged " Gusto ko lang malaman mo na mahal kita and I didn't choose you, my heart did." I held her hands.

" Gil-" She looked at me.

" Yes, darling?" I asked.

" You know, I thought I already fell in love with you." She said that made me nervous.

" W-why?" I questioned, " You don't love me?"

" Hey!" She immediately said " Don't you worry. Just creating fake scenes in my head." She chuckled.

"Fake scenes?" I confusedly asked.

" What's your question again?" She mentioned looking at me.

" D-Don't you love me?" I asked. Stuttering.

" Looks at the stars." She pointed out.

I looked " And?"

" I love you more than the stars in the sky." Banat niya. Hindi ko alam na marunong pala 'tong bumanat. Pero I gotta admit, kinilig ako. And it made me chuckled!

" Why?" She pouted, " It's failed. I know."

" There are many stars in the sky tonight, my darling." I said, " but only one star shines through my heart."

"... and that is you."
