Hey, I was wondering if you were free now for that interview? xx

Hi you! Sadly I'm at work right now; is it possible you can send me the questions so I can answer them sometime tonight when I get home and am free? 😉

Yeah, sure thing! I hope work is going alright! xx

Work is work, which today happens to be right when my country is playing a game in FIFA. Ugh! Oh well. That's life. And thanks for the questions! I'll get to them as soon as I can.

Exciting! I hope everything goes well, and thank you so much for getting to me quick xx

What inspired you to write your story? xx

Honestly, it just popped into my head after having this very weird conversation with some friends about stereotypical encounters and I just went, I wanna stir it up a bit and in walked Tessa, Hale and Parker in my mind.

(It's funny how a conversation can change and stir the brain into writing-mode 😄)

What do you want readers to get out of your book? xx

I want them to laugh; have that small moment where they can just forget about anything and everything while smiling over someone being absolutely stupid, cute or infuriating. Books have helped me through a lot of crappy things and I want to do that for others too.

(Awww, well your book was definitely a laugh so you nailed that xx)

Where were you and what were you doing when you found out you placed/ TPPA-Approved? xx

It was actually one of my best friends that woke me up by her messages saying I placed. Can only say it was one of the best wake-up calls I've ever had.

(Aww, it must have been such a shock, and a bit to progress, especially since you were just waking up xx)

What does this mean to you? xx

Second placing? It means so much to me and makes me truly happy that someone finds my work good. I'm a book girl and I always will be.

(So true - book girls forever! 😂)

What are up to at the moment? What do we have to look forward to from you? Do you have anything written-wise for us to look forward to in the future? xx

I'm always working/getting ideas. I have a few ideas for other humour stories and am thinking of placing them within the same universe as TMS.  Besides that, I'm currently working on a Werewolf-Fantasy story as I've found it important for me to have different genres to work in as my writing is really mood-based.

(Same here! Getting a feel for different genres is such a great way to grow as a writer, I reckon xx)

How would you describe your writing style? xx

I've yet to this day to put a label on my writing. I don't know what to call it, but I see a complete scene in my head and try to write it as pinpoint like to that as possible. From what I gather from others I'm doing pretty well with evocative imagery so that's probably the closest I can come to putting a label on it. 😂

(Fair enough 😂 I think it's okay to not be sure on what our writing style is, as long as we enjoy writing xx)

Do you have any ideas in how Wattpad could improve in showing off hidden gems like yours? xx

No, sadly I don't. I've never been good at promoting or anything, and as much as I enjoy writing I can't be as active on Wattpad as I want to, and that's really what seems to be what gets one noticed on Wattpad.

(True! Maybe you should consider sending your work to TalentScouts? xx)

How important do you think reading other people's work improves your own writing? xx

I read other people's work when I need to distance myself from my writing - you know, to get out of my own headspace. It seems to help with overcoming Writer's Block and sentences that just don't seem to want to come out right. That said though, I try to keep myself from reading books within the same genre as myself to make sure I stay true to my own - in this case - 'humour-verse'. I'm very fond of originality and if I read a humour book that's similar in tone to mine I'm scared it'll ruin the originality.

(I totally understand that. I think that's why I've strayed away from my favourite genres for the time-being xx)

What influenced your storyline for "The Model's Stylist"? xx

Conversations with friends are a great influence to this story as some of the dialogue is actually something similar to the convos I've had in real life, but only slightly exaggerated - emphasis on slightly - haha. I have this awesome, weird and funny friend-circle that tends to say all the weird things that pop into their heads, and it to me is just golden nuggets for the comedy genre.

(Certainly, and you can stay true to the originality of your story too! xx)

Where do you see yourself in two years time? xx

Books have gotten me through some pretty crappy things throughout my life, so if I in two years time have done the same for a few other people, it'll be two years well spent. So yeah, in two years time I will definitely still be writing, after all I, don't know where I would be without it.

(Awww ❤️)

Haha. I hope that the answers are okay. Really good questions I might say. I really had to think on them, and this is coming from me who usually just writes what pops into my head. Haha. Just say if I need to elaborate on something or if I'm not making sense at all.

(And) I apologize if you wanted quirky and funny answers but apparently, my brain is too tired. 😂

No, this is perfect! Would you be able to talk about this werewolf fantasy book you're working on? xx

Sure, what do you wanna know ? 😉

Just anything. Maybe a summary of what it's about, and what we can expect from reading this book? xx

Oh well, it's called Lunar Noctis.

(And) It's a reverse take on rejection of how she leaves her pack behind for a human, and we read about how the couple is being tested with the continuous fear of them finding them, together with nature seemingly being out for them too since things they can't possible understand start to happen.

So yeah, it's a genre with a lot of tropes I'm trying to change for my own. And it's really exciting to considering I truly don't have a layout for it, but it's like it doesn't need to because it's been written itself from the start. I just put on my writing playlist and then it just flows.

'He was her mate'.

'They wanted her to reject him'.

'She chose to disobey'.

(Oh yes, your story that you've entered this year into TPPA - I can't wait to read it! xx)

Sweet! Thanks so much for everything! Did you want to give any shoutouts before I wrap this up? xx

Definitely Lazybrew who has been there for ever since the beginning, and then TiaMichelle420 for her continuous support on my stories. They really make my Wattpad experience so much better.

And you of course for having this amazing contest - I'm really honored for being a part of it. ❤️

(Awww, thank you! ❤️ ❤️❤️)

Cheers, thanks so much for this! It was such an honour to interview you xx ❤️
