Adrian's mother, who was a very Christian lady, gave Ria up because of her ability to shapeshift; she thought it to be the work of the devil and abandoned her at three years old; where she was taken care of by the government. In her orphanage, the kids didn't want to be around her because of what she could do. They called her a freak and a monster. When she was eighteen, she was on her own. Dancing brought the life back in her. She bought an apartment for herself, found a job in choreography, and adopted a puppy; her only and best friend.
