You stared out the window at Subaru, as he tended to his roses. "Y/N-chan let's go or you'll be late." Reiji called out. You looked down at your watch and widened your eyes. "Oh...yes my shift starts soon." You replied. You ran down the stairs and followed Reiji out the door to the limo.

"Y/n, Subaru will come pick you up today. That man will be coming to visit so the rest of us will be preparing. When you get home i expect you to clean the music room and the attic." "Yes sir."

You waved as the limo pulled off. You turned towards the door and walked in. The moment you walked in, you were immediately tackled by a small brunette girl. "Y/n! You're here!" Mingxia shouted. She was a Chinese girl whose parents owned the bakery— and your best friend since elementary school.

"Ah!~ Y/n! You have a customer that has specifically requested you." The boss shouted. You turned and looked over at the table she pointed at. A young girl had sat, wrapped in a scarf. She had whit hair with brownish-purple fringes.

You sauntered over to the girl and smiled. "My name is Y/n, what can i get for you today?" They stood and smiled. Taking in more of their facial features you realized— "Holy Cheese nuggets, thats a guy!!"

He walked over to you, his gold eyes looked you over with kindness. He caressed your face and leaned in, feeling his breath on your lips. "I finally got you. You're all mine." He whispered. You pushed him away and blushed. Mingxia came over and hit him with the broom. "Hey! You aren't allowed to touch her! Now leave before I file a sexual harassment complaint!" She demanded.

He turned on his foot and looked back. He glared directly at you. You tensed up and gasped. An odd feeling crept up deep inside you. "Something doesn't feel right about him."

"Bye Mingxa, see you at school tomorrow!" She waved back to you as you got in the limo. You looked over at Subaru. "Hi Subaru-kun!" He clicked his tongue and turned away from you. "Maybe he hasn't seen my letter yet. I left it on his bed, maybe he hasn't been in his room yet. I...could tell him now."

"Uhm...S-Sub-" "Y/n...I don't like you... Even if i did....we're siblings. You're always annoying and clinging to me. Our father took a liking to you yet he couldn't even care for his own wife and son!" He grumbled. You looked at him, your eyes never meeting with each other.

"Oh...I'm... I'm sorry that I've been bothering you all this time." You teared up and smiled. "E-Excuse me...could you please stop to limo." "Yes Miss." The Chauffeur responded. The limo came to a stop and you quickly gathered your things and opened the door. "Wait...Y/n...I...I did-" Before he could finish you stepped out into the pouring rain. "I'll leave you alone, that way you can spend more time with your dad." You tried not to choke on your words.

      You started off down the street. "Y/n wait!" Subaru shouted. You ignored him and continued down the street. The only good that came out of the rain was the fact that no one could see you crying. You felt someone grab your hand, causing your body to jolt to a stop. "I told you to wait..." Subaru muttered. You jerked your hands out of his and looked back.

     Without any further exchange of words, you ran off. "How could I not know...that i was such a nuisance? I'm a terrible person, smiling all the time while i take his father away from him." In the midst of thinking, you bumped into a chest.

      You fell back onto the ground, into a puddle. "I'm so sorry!" You immediately apologized. "Y/n."

       You looked and gasped. "It's the guy from earlier..." You got up, about to make a run for it. Before you could even move, the male had already grabbed your wrist. He pressed himself against you. He pressed a cold blade against your neck and you tensed up. "If you move or make any noise, I will kill you..." He whispered into your ear.

(Subaru's POV)

      I stared back at her as she ran. "Why won't my legs allow me to chase after her. No... Why did I say all those mean things to her. I have to apologize to her...but my body wont allow it."

     I sighed as I quietly stumbled into the mansion. I feel...like an asshole. I make my way to the staircase and pause. "Subaru, what a delight! Where is Y/n?" His voice sent shivers down my spine. Normally I'd continue walk but the moment i heard her name, I became glued to the floor.

      I turned and looked at my father, KarlHeinz. My breathing hitched. Our father took a liking to you yet he couldn't even care for his own wife and son! I couldn't find any words. What do I tell him?

      "Subaru?" Reiji called out. I snapped back to reality. "Where is Y/n?!" Karl growled. I balled my fist. "She...She...."  I looked down at my feet. "I...I said things to her...and she left."

      "What did you say?" Reiji asked as he crossed his arms. "I... I told her that it's not fair that He loves her but couldn't love his own wives or —" Karl struck my face mid sentence. Of course the pain didn't last but a few seconds; however the fact that he would hit any of us is shocking.

      He glared down at me, which none of us has ever witnessed. "Whether you meant it or not is out of the question. Reiji, his punishment is up to you." With that he left and went back to the others.

"I won't give you a punishment. The weight of guilt is more than enough for your punishment." Reiji pushed his glasses up and retreated to the dining room. "You are to all go look for Y/n. Reiji send out familiars." Karl demanded.

(Y/n's POV)

You were forced in a limo by a guy with orange hair. He had golden eyes, one covered by an eye patch. You continued to look him over nervously,since he was sitting across from you, but stopped on his tail. "They.....They aren't human?!" The limo came to a slow stop at a red light. You looked over at the male beside you.

You heard a distant voice shout, "Lady Y/n!" You immediately knew your brothers were nearby. The voice belonged to a familiar, who was previously a sacrificial bride to your brothers. You looked over at the door handle. You quickly reached for it and pulled it, opening the door. "Ayum—"

You were quickly pulled back in and a flash of purple was the last thing you saw.

"Nii-San, who exactly is this?"

"A girl...."

"Hm? Nii-san that doesn't exactly help."

"Y/n Sakamaki."

"Oh? But she smells like a human."

"Shut up Shin..."

You woke up hours later, a faint sound of water dripping. "Where..." You sat up and looked around. Your eyes landing on steel bars, stone walls, and a bar window. "A...A cell." "You are correct." A voice said from the chair sitting in the corner.

You jolted and tried to get up from the bed you were on but failed, due to a sharp pain. You lifted the blanket and looked down at the cuffs that was causing your ankle to bruise. "Who... Who are you?"

He walked over to you and sat on the bed beside you. You moved away from him.

"Let me go home...please" He leaned in and completely ignored you. You backed away, putting your hands to his chest.

"Your home is here with me." He growled. "I don't even know who you are!"

      "I am Tskunami Carla, king of the first bloods." "I've heard the name Tsukinami before....could it be?..."

      "Giesbach." He must have known him cause his eyes narrowed. "Yes, my father." He growled lowly.

      "Oi, Nii-san....you have a visitor." The other said. Carla got up from your side and left, locking the cell behind him. Carla left but the other remained. He chuckled and gave you a mischievous look. "To think Nii-san would fall for a human. Heh, if you want to survive....I suggest you behave." He chuckled once more before leaving you alone.

      After about what you assumed was an hour, you tried pulling your foot out of the tight cuffs. You continued pulling, letting out soft whimpers with each, until it dawned on you.

You had put your hair in a ponytail, for work earlier, and used a few bobby pins for the loose baby hairs. You took out on of the pins and reached down to your ankle. Your hands trembled as you stuck it in the key hole, jiggling it around inside. Your eyes lit with joy as the cuffs opened.

      You quickly got off the floor and started limping to the door. You used the same on the door. "To think that man was this careless..." You quietly went up a flight of stairs. "I need to call Reiji..."

      You made it to a large open room, spotting a phone across the room. "That was easy." You looked around and then quickly limped over to it. You went to grab it but was quickly snatched back, by your hair. He threw you onto the ground and you stared back up at him.

      He then stepped on your already bruised ankle. You could feel him adding pressure. You stared up at Carla with wide eyes, tears rolling down you felt your bones being crushed. You screamed loudly and closed your eyes, hopping
that'd stop the pain. "Just where did you think you were going?"
