       Weeks ago, Alpha Vlad von Weissen was murdered in the dead of night. The scene in the morning was brutal, and reports say he must have died in a great deal of pain. He was succeeded by his eldest living daughter, Veronica von Weissen. Veronica has long been the favored heir, ever since she killed her elder brother, Pietr von Weissen. At 28 years old, Alpha von Weissen joins the long line of young Alpha's that now rule over some of the most influential packs in the nation.
       In the time she has been the alpha, von Weissen has gathered mass numbers in allies. Windstorm, a small and long-lived pack, has joined the ranks of Crimson River. Alpha von Weissen's newly appointed beta hails from this pack. Etta Kimberly Gibbs has officially taken on the mantle, making their first public appearance at a wild rally and display of power. Joining the ceremony were the Alpha and Beta of the Basho pack - Zhang Basho and Xerik Borvoska - and newly appointed Beta of the Niagara pack, Saionji Basho. 42 lycan's have also joined her ranks, a trade between the Crimson River and High Crescent packs. What Alpha von Weissen gave up for such a boon has yet to be determined.
