Rushing down the pathway I saw someone rush up to me, staying neck in neck with me, his footsteps silent as we raced along the path together...As long as he didn't stop me...I didn't care...

"So where ya headin'?" It's voice asked curiously notifying me it was a boy...The curiosity getting the better of me I slowed down, taking a peek at the boy my eyes widening when his feet weren't on the ground...

He was flying......I really must be going insane...Huh.....Who knew!?! The tower's getting to me...Isolated for so long....Why haven't I escaped in the morning!! Why nightfall!! WHY!!!

My forehead growing hot I knew my hair was going to light up any second, glancing around I gasped, pointing at a tree as a brown blur past by causing the boy that was around my age to whip around, staring at what I pointed at as soon as my hair lit up the area.

"Oh sorry....I was sure I saw something..." I mumbled and he smiled at me.

"Nah it's all good, my name's Lachlan by the way..What's yours?" Lachlan greeted and I smirked, at least he was friendly...I hope anyways..

"Oh I'm Rob I'm heading wherever this path leads" I explained gazing into his eyes, they were amazing...They were a bright ocean blue with green outlining the pupil....Breath taking...

His lips moving I scrunched my eyebrows confused, why wasnt he talking..Mumbling ringing in my ears soon focused into words and I realized I was spaced out...

"This path you're heading down..Leads to a huge kingdom with a castles, marvelous really! But I don't live there..." He murmured flipping himself over so his stomach was facing the moon as he gazed at the sky.

"Where do you live?" I questioned and he chuckled, floating backwards right beside me, back stroking once in a while if I paced myself faster..

"Far...Far away from here...Never Land...." Lachlan answered, wonder twinkling in his eyes as he thought about his home...

"I'm home sick too....I live quite far.....Not Never Land but...It's great..Just a little lonely which is why....Hurhhhh" I sighed not wanting to finish my sentence causing him to flip back over, locking eye contact with me..

"Which is why you left.." Lachlan finished his eyes shining in the moonlight and I smiled, nodding my head....We might be home sick...But at least we were together...

"Yeah....Are you going to the kingdom?" I questioned out loud earning an amused expression to smack onto his face.

"Yeah but.......Awww.....No....." Lachlan stopped standing himself up as a carriage passed by, crying echoing in the carriage, a grim expression on Lachlan's face as the carriage passed by, worry filling my heart I nudged Lachlan giving him a look to explain.

"It's a carriage...Carries things that were lost, abandoned, stolen or found....And around here...Things are alive...Like dolls, furniture, animals!....

But in that carriage...They're either burned or given away...They just want to go back home...But they can't... It's a death sentence for toys if they're not wanted, furniture too...Animals are just set free...

For inanimate objects it's not as lucky.." Lachlan speeched pain filling his eyes as the carriage slowed down. Not thinking twice I ran after the carriage gaining speed until I was right beside it...

I at least needed to save one......Just one would make me feel better....
