Alex breaths heavily on the hospital bed as Oscar holds their hand. The delivery was done and they needed to calm themself before even looking at the baby.

The nurse comes back with a pink blanket in her arms. "Alex?" Oscar tries to soothe them. After a minute they are calm. "We have a daughter." He smiles at Alex. "A girl?" They ask for clarification. Oscar nods as the nurse hands the blanket to Alex.

"Oh my god." They softly say. "She's perfect." Alex starts softly crying while holding the baby. "You did good." Oscar softly says to Alex.

The nurse opens the door, letting Serenity and Gracie in. The two stand on the opposite side of the bed. "She's so pretty." Serenity smiles. "Have you figured out a name?" Gracie asks.

Alex softly chuckles. "With all that's been going on, I haven't really decided." Alex smiles at the baby. "But I think I like the name Amora." Oscar smiles. "That's the name I wanted, isn't it?" Alex nods.

Before anything else was said, a yellow doorway opened up and Alex groans. "Not now." A few people walk out, one taking out a pad similar to Alex's from their own pocket. "Take the mother." They told the others.

Oscar steps in front of Alex and Amora. "We understand that you are just doing your job, but they just gave birth." Oscar starts getting overprotective. "My apologies, Overseer." The person said back. "But we can't let this continue."

Alex hands Amora to Gracie. "Take her. Go back to Antiphon. He'll know what to do." Gracie holds Amora close as Alex gets up from the hospital bed.

"Alex, you can't leave." Oscar tries to stop them. "This is the Time Variance Authority. I can't fight against them and risk you guys getting erased from existence." Alex steps closer to the minute men. One of them wraps a time collar around their neck. "Smart choice, Overseer."

Before the group leaves, Oscar grabs Alex by the wrist. As Alex turns around, the two were pulled into a kiss. Alex kisses back as their hands clasp onto his shoulders. The two pull away. "I love you, Alex." Oscar says to them.

"I love you very much, Oscar." Alex says for the first time. Alex turns back and walks through the portal with the minute men, leaving their family behind.
