3rd person POV

Dr. Neilson stands next to Alex as he checks their baby bump. Alex had been feeling a little weird during the past few days and just wanted to check up with the doctor to make sure everything was natural.

"Everything is fine, Miss Lena. It's normal for a first-time mom to be feeling a little odd." Dr. Neilson tells Alex. They sigh. "Thank you for letting me know, Doc." They say as they get up from the hospital bed. "I'll see you for your next checkup in a couple months." He says as they exit the room.

Oscar and Serenity are in the waiting room as Alex walks out of the room. "The baby is fine." They tell their companions. To be three exit the building.

They walked down the sidewalk until they reached the Vision household. There was screaming inside. Alex rolls their eyes. "I am so done with those kids."

Before either of them could do anything about it, another woman walks into the Vision house. Recognizing her, they followed her.

Inside Wanda and Vision's house

"Or maybe we need some help." Wanda says to Vision as the doorbell rings. Vision rushes over to the couch and covers his face with a pillow as the woman walks in.

"Hi, guys!" The woman says in a cheery voice. "Ah, GiGi. How are you?" Wanda says in relief. GiGi walks towards Wanda and the cribs after closing the door. "I was on my way to my painting class when I heard that your babies were crying like there's no tomorrow."

Vision walked over to the four. "Oh, who told you that?" He asks her. GiGi turned to him. "My ears." She laughs as the doorbell rings. Vision opens the door to see Oscar, Alex, and Serenity on the other end.

"Ah, hello neighbors." Vision smiles at the three as he allows them inside. "Wanda, honey." Alex says in glee as the two embrace one another.

"The four of us can take care of the babies." GiGi says as the two separate from one another. "You guys are life savers." Wanda tells the four visitors before turning to her husband. "Vision, let's let our friends try."

"Very well." Vision replied. "But be careful of their belly buttons and remember to support their heads, and when was the last time you washed... Actually, you know what?" Vision starts second guessing letting the four near the kids, remembering his last encounter with Alex. "It would be... Just... Maybe we better not."

There was a moment of silence. Vision was anxious, Wanda's face was blank, and the other four were confused as to what's happening.

"Do you want us to retry that?" Alex asks Wanda, who was now confused. "Wha- I'm sorry." Wanda asks them. "You want us to hold the babies?" Serenity says, unsure. "Should we just take it from the top?" GiGi asks as she moves towards the door.

Wanda starts laughing dryly. "Don't be silly, go ahead." Alex sofly smiles as she goes to pick up Billy from his cradle, GiGi doing the same with Tommy. Oscar stands by Alex's side and wraps his arm around their shoulders.

The married couple move to one side if the living room as the for retreat to the other side. "Antiphon sent me to check up on you guys." GiGi told the other three. "Word got out of your pregnancy and he didn't want to take any chances."

Alex let out a sigh of relief as they cradle a wailing Billy. "You didn't have to, Gracie." Serenity takes some perfume out of Alex's purse. "Is this lavender?" She asks Alex. "Yes. That could work. Spray the kids." Serenity listens and starts spraying, getting the attention of the parents.

Alex notices. "It's lavender. Very calming." Wanda and Vision chuckle before turning back to their own conversation. "I'm not smelling anything." Gracie says. Serenity stops spraying and looks at the lable, her face drops. "This isn't lavender."

Alex looks at the label as well. "Let's hope the effects won't kick in now." They go to set Billy down in his cradle. Both kids are still crying. "Where's your guy's dark liquor?" They asks, stressed.

Wanda was now concerned. "Not for us. For the twins." Alex says as they go into the kitchen. "I'll just look in here." She gestures the other three in there as Wanda and Vision continued their conversation.

"If that stuff is what I think it is, the crying will stop but not because they decide to stop." She says as she opens the fridge and takes a liquor bottle out.

"What do you mean?" Oscar asks as Alex pours the drink into four glasses. They sit themselves on the counter separating the kitchen from the living room. "Just wait." The crying stops. The other three head into the living room as the married couple head towards the cradles. "They're empty." Vision remarks. "Then where are the twins?" Wanda asks. In a split second, two little boys are standing behind the parents, softly calling to them.

Alex chuckles. "Kids. They grow up so fast." They almost takes a drink of the liquor before Oscar takes it from them. "You shouldn't drink when you are pregnant." Serenity says to Alex.

Wanda and Vision pick up the now 5-year-olds and head over towards the four. "Thank you for looking after them for the time being. I think we got it covered from here." Wanda thanks the four.

Alex sits down on the couch in their own house, not doing or saying anything. Oscar comes out of the kitchen, holding a cup. "Are you doing ok?" He asks as he's sits next to them, handing the cup to them. They take the cup and started drinking.

"Holding Billy, it just felt different than holding any other baby." Alex breathed out. "I can't explain it."

Oscar rests his hand on Alex's shoulder. The belle suddenly rings. Alex gets up and opens the door, Wanda on the other side with her five year olds. Alex smiles at the three. "Nice seeing you guys again."

Wanda smiles back. "The boys asked if they could spend some time over here. I didn't have a phone number for you guys, so we just walked here." Alex softly chuckles. "Your boys are welcome here anytime. Usually one out of the four of us is here." "Thank you, Lena." Wanda smiles before giving the kids hugs. Alex watches as Wanda turns to leave. Alex invites the boys in.

"I'm surprised you kids wanna be over here." Oscar smiles at the boys. Billy raises his arms up to Alex. They pick him up as Oscar does the same to Tommy. Billy hugs Alex around their neck. "You're a hugger, aren't you." Alex smiles.

After a few minutes of the four talking, there was a soft barking outside the door. Gracie exits the hall and heads towards the door, Serenity following. "I got it." She opens the door to find a small, shivering dog outside. Alex and Oscar sat the twins down.

Everyone gathers to the door as Oscar passes Tommy to Gracie and picks up the puppy. Alex, Serenity, and Gracie start cooing at the puppy. "Where could he have come from?" Oscar wonders out loud.

"I want him!" Tommy outbursts, causing his brother and the adults to turn their heads to him. "We could possibly sneak him in the house so you guys can." Alex suggested.

~Time Skip~

Alex sneaks into the kitchen of the Vision House while holding the dog. The twins walk into the kitchen afterwards. "He might need a bath." They hand the dog to the boys. "I'll see you guys later."

Alex leaves the house and summons a doghouse into Wanda's neighbor's house before heading back to their own house.
