A/N: I got in a fight with my boyfriend when I started writing this part, so now this will become my stress writing chapter.

3rd person POV

Alex wakes up earlier than everyone else and heads down to the living room. The door knocks and they head over to answer it. It was one of Oscar's co-workers on the other side. "Hello, I'm Norm, Charles' coworker. Is he here?" He told them. "He is, but he's still asleep. I can give a message." Alex responded.

"The Neighborhood Watch is meeting in the library later today. There was some disturbances in the neighborhood last night and we would like all members to show up." Norm told them.

"I'll let Charles know." Alex responded. "Thank you. Have a nice day, ma'am. Hopefully we'll be seeing you later today." He leaves as Alex shuts the door. They flicks their wrist and they're in their normal, modern day outfit. They head to the kitchen and starts cooking breakfast.

Oscar enters the kitchen as one of the plates floats through the air. Not knowing what it was, he threw his arms out to shield himself, vibranium arm hitting the plate and causing Alex to jump and yelp. "My significant other and their UFOs." Oscar says after seeing the broken plate on the floor. Alex shakes their head affectionately. "My boyfriend and his vibranium arm."

They flick their wrist, fixing the plate and setting it in the cabinet before making a new one float out. "Just because it's the 60's, that doesn't mean we need to be that way in our closed walls." They pull up their hood of their jacket. He smiles and lightly kisses their cheek.

Alex sets two plates down on the table as they set breakfast sandwiches on the plates. "By the way, Norm stopped by. You didn't tell me you were part of the Neighborhood Watch." They jokingly jest. "There's a meeting at the the library. Apparently something happened last night."

Oscar chuckled. "We couldn't have heard anything." He said to them, low enough so only the two could hear. Alex blushes, remembering what happened between the two after the decades changed. She wraps up a breakfast sandwich and put it in a paper bag. "You might wanna hurry to the library. We don't have a car." She hands the bag to Oscar. The two share a kiss before he leaves.

As Oscar leaves, Alex starts feeling more tired than normally. "And they don't have the good root beer, here. Damnit." They say as they clutch the counter. Serenity walks in and immediately sees her sibling in distress. "What's happening?" She was confused. Alex takes a bite out of her own sandwich. "I'm just a little tired. We gotta quickly eat before we have to go."

The two finish eating before changing their clothes and heading out. On their way there, they meet another woman as they make it to The Vision residence. "Ah, morning Sylvia." Serenity smiles. "Good morning to you too, Agnes." Agnes looks over to Alex. "When we're you going to introduce me too your friend, here."

Alex immediately introduced themself. "I'm Lena, Sylvia's sister." She extends her hand to Agnes. "Lovely to meet you." The two join hands. "Are you two heading to the planning committee meeting?" Alex nods. "Yes, we are. Are you also going?"

"Of course, I'm just waiting for Wanda to get back out here." Agnes gestures towards the house. Another woman walks out. Alex starts feeling her stomach tightening. "Oh. Hello, Sylvia. And who is your friend?" Alex calms herself and holds out her hand. "I'm Lena. I'm Sylvia's sister." The two shake hands. "Shall we be on our way?" Serenity asks the three. "Oh, we shall." Agnes replies. The two link arms as Wanda and Alex do the same, Alex starts getting a headache. She shakes it off. Painkillers weren't as effective back then.

"So, are you girls ready to meet Queen Cul de Sac and her Merry Homemakers?" Agnes asks the other three. "Oh my," Alex replies. "Dottie can't be as bad as you're making her out to be." Agnes turns around to face Wanda and Alex, stopping Serenity in her tracks. "May I give the two of you some friendly advice?"

"Is it about how we're dressed?" Wanda noticed how both her and Alex were wearing pants, feeling worried she made the wrong choice of wardrobe. Alex honestly didn't care. They spent a day in a housewife dress, they're happy to get out of it as soon as they could. "Yes, but it's too late for that." Agnes chuckles. "Dottie is the key to everything in this town..." Alex starts zoning out, their sleepiness getting worse.

They must've zoned out for a while before Wanda tries getting her attention. "Are you ok, Lena?" Alex looks Wanda in the eyes before a slight pain shoots in their abdomen. Her face showing little discomfort before she shakes it off. "I'm fine. Let's go." They give her a fake smile. Alex and Wanda follow the rest to where the meeting was said to be held.

As the meeting continues, Alex stays quiet in hopes of calming their newly formed headaches. Someone passes her cookies before getting her attention. "Say, those pants are peachy keen." The woman gives her a friendly smile. "Thank you," they replied. "I needed to get out of dresses as quick as possible."

"We only have a few hours until show time, so a little less cross chatter and a little more focus." Dottie tells the two. Alex nods in shame. They tune out the rest of the world as they drink their lemonade, trying to nurse the headache. The ladies chanted the phrase "For the Children" with Wanda falling behind. Alex couldn't figure out why, but being around Wanda was hurting them. They tried to shake the thought, trying to convince themself that it was just quintessential.

After the meeting, Alex and Serenity left. Alex's headache lessened as they got further away from Wanda. "What is happening?" Serenity asks them. "You've been off all day." Alex shrugs. "I honestly don't know." The two hear radio static.

Wanda. Wanda, can you read me, over? Wanda? Wanda?
Wanda? Wanda. Who's doing this to you, Wanda? Wanda?Wanda? Wan———

The radio burns out. The two stand there confused. "I don't know if I can continue the mission if it's to watch her." Alex says to Serenity. Serenity and Alex starts walking to the town square for the fundraiser event. The two sits down at one of the front tables. After a few minutes, Oscar finds them and sits down next to them. As the talent show starts, Alex's headache starts up again, and it did not go unnoticed by the other two. Oscar gently rubs her shoulder, trying to help. Their headache only got worse when the magic act started.

The act ends and everyone starts getting up to go home. Oscar gets up and gently helps Alex to their feet. "Let's get you home." He gently takes their hand as the three started to head home.

The headache wouldn't subside until the three got home. "I'm feeling a little better, but I might need to head to bed early. She gently hugs Serenity before turning to Oscar. The two share a kiss before Alex pulls away. "Alex?" Oscar said as he looked to their belly. They follow his gaze, Serenity starts looking at Alex's stomach as well. "Oh my," Alex stopped their sentence, they were pregnant.

Before they could say anything, there was a crash next door. "What is it this time?" Oscar rolls his eyes. The three walk out, Wanda and her husband having the same idea. "I don't see anything," Wanda says as the three walk closer to the married couple. A man crawls out of the sewer, wearing a beekeeper outfit. "What is that?" Alex asks as Oscar wraps his arms around them. The beekeeper faces the group. "No."

"Oh my," Alex stopped their sentence, they were pregnant. "I can't believe it." They start softly crying. "I can carry." Oscar leans down and kisses her, the kiss was reciprocated. Serenity smiles as she watched. As the two continue to kiss, the world around them starts to turn colorful. Serenity watches the colors dance in aww. The two separate from the kiss as the three start gaining color. Alex and Serenity hug.

Wanda? Who's doing this to you, Wanda? Wanda?
