Alex opens their eyes after hearing a deep voice call out their name. "Who are you, what do you want?"

"I know all, I see all." The voice tells them. "But I do not, can not, will not interfere with this timeline or any other." Alex was confused. "What do you mean by any other timeline? There's only one timeline." "You will witness the opening of the multiverse." The voice tells them. "You are the first in a long lineup of Alex's."

As the voice says that, the surroundings become clearer. All around the two, there was a mind controlled group walking towards a castle. "Though I can't interfere, I can show you a few timelines surrounding you." The voice says as Alex walks towards the castle.

Alex hides behind a few people as they make it inside the castle, screams of pain can be heard, along with a shrill laughter, it made Alex sick to the stomach.

"No one can see you, Alex." The voice told them, allowing them to step out and see what's fully happening.

Another scream is heard from down the hall as Alex walks away from the group. Alex opens the door at the end of the hallway, seeing multiple people chained against the walls. More people were dead and/or bleeding out on the floor. The people chained against the walls were watching what was happening in the center of the room, Alex follows their gazes, seeing the worst thing imaginable.

The figure in the center of the room lifted their head from it's latest victim, looking in Alex's direction. The figure looked familiar, but Alex couldn't figure out who is was due to the figure's hair covering it's face.

The figure rushes towards Alex, hair flying away from their face, revealing another Alex. Alex tried shielding themself from the attack before they were pulled out of that timeline. "What the hell?" They removed their arms from their face.

"In that timeline, you were not taken by Antiphon the Overseer." The voice returned. "As a result, you were recruited by SHEILD and Hydra got to you. With you volunteering for their experiments, you became the Scarlet Witch, but the power consumed you, leaving you to madness."

Alex watches as they were placed into another timeline. They turn their head to see a younger girl and Alex playing with each other in the gardens. "Sunflower?" Alex smiles, recognizing the girl.

"In this timeline, you chose to stay and watch Loki grow up. It resulted in Antiphon cutting all connections between you two. Oscar and your sisters came here to stay with you as well."

A yellow doorway opens and a few people walk through. "There's our variant." One of them say, talking about Loki. Alex immediately started getting protective over her. "You want her? You'll have to get through me."

"And you are!" The person asks. "I'm Alex Thyme, protector of Asgard's princess." Alex magics a couple of daggers into their hands. "Fine, but have it your way." The people raised their own weapons before a sound was heard. The group, including Alex, took out pads from their pockets.

"The timeline is branching." One of them said. Alex smirks, putting theirs back in their pocket. "So, it can't possibly be a little girl messing up the timeline, now can it?" They sass. The others leave the area through the doorway, leaving a smug Alex and a confused Loki behind.

"What was that?" She asked Alex. Alex turns back to her. "Very old friends. They won't be coming back soon, though." Alex softly smiles at Loki. "What's say we go to your mother so you can learn some really cool magic?" Alex says to Loki, who smiles excitedly. "Really, Alex?" Alex nods as the two head off.

Alex smile fades as that timeline disappears. "There is one more timeline I must show you before you wake up." The voice returns.

Alex was placed into another timeline, only this one seemed like normal. "Wakanda forever!" Someone yells. Alex turns to see the Wakandain Army running towards Thanos' Army.

"This timeline was on track so far. The Avengers were supposed to fail, thus figuring out time travel, leading to the deaths of Tony Stark and Natasha Romanoff. But what changed was Antiphon sending you here." The voice told Alex. "You weren't supposed to be known to any of the Avengers until you and your team were sent to Westview."

As Thanos arrived to Wakanda, Alex did the same. Alex turns to Wanda and Vision. "Don't worry. I got you." Alex creates a dome over the two confused heroes. Thanos rushes towards Alex, who swerves out of the way. (A/N: I'm good at swerving. Go for a kiss.)

As Alex swerves, they grab the gauntlet off of Thanos' arm and puts it on. "Five stones might do something." They say as Thanos turns to them. They snap their fingers, turning Thanos and his army to dust. The dome over Wanda and Vision dissolves and all the heroes walk over to Alex.

"Who is this person?" Vision asks Wanda. "I honestly don't know." She kneels down and looks into Alex's dying mind. "Whoever they are, they saved everyone." Steve says as Wanda pulls off the gauntlet.

The timeline becomes dark. "With your sacrifice, we'd have one less Guardian of the Multiverse." The voice says to Alex. "I'm done with your games." Alex becomes angry. "Who are you?"

"I know all, I see all." The voice tells them again. "But I do not, can not, will not interfere. I am The Watcher." As he says that, Alex is ripped back to reality.
