The room was silent as everyone took in Dal's plan. His idea was crazy enough to the point that it was almost laughable, but sane enough that it fell into a gray area that made it plausible.

       The gears were turning in my head as I thought about it. Dal's family was an unspoken topic - no one knew much about it, so no one would be able to prove he was lying. And while we had our differences, Dal and I did share some underlying physical similarities and even some personality traits. Granted I wasn't as tough as him and there were definitely ways we could look more related, but that was nothing that couldn't be fixed with some acting and hair dye. Plus being at Bucks would give me some shelter from Bryce. Every Soc knew of Buck's dislike for them, so that on-top of the common knowledge that Dal and other tough greasers frequented the bar was enough to keep them away most of the time.

       With my mind made up, I looked up at Dally and smirked. "I'm game." And with those two words, the plan was set in motion for me to become the cousin of the most wanted greaser in town.
