I look up to see the sun in the same position. "The 21st century? How? Why?" Ponyboy says staring at me. "Hey girls can you explain? I need to check something." I say looking at Presley and Oceanna. "Yeah, no problem."  Presley says smiling. I get up and run back to my house. I burst through the door to be greeted by Shadow. How did she get back? "Kody? Your home? You just left." My mom calls. Just left!?! I guess only a minute or two has passed. Weird. "Uh yeah I just uh forgot my phone! " I say running upstairs and grabbing it. I also change into my jeans, Jean Jacket, Mickey mouse shirt,  I run back to the park to see the gang huddled around the girls. "And now we are here!" Presley says finishing. Everyone is paying attention, some more than others. Soda is looking at Presley, eyes shinning. And Dally is staring at Oceanna, but I think he is focused more on the girl then the story. "Girls! Go get your phones we need to teach the boys how to use them. Ponyboy, Johnny come with me. Soda, Steve, Two-bit, you go with Presley. Dally and Darry go with Oceanna." I say. Now everyone is working with there favorite character. "Johnny! Ponyboy! Come here!" I call. "Ok sit down I've got a lot to show you." I say.

"So you just press the letters and they come up?" Ponyboy asked. "Yeah then you hit send, here try it!" I say passing him my phone. "Wow! This is so cool! You gotta try this Johnnycakes!" Ponyboy says happily. Johnny takes the phone and gets it down pretty quickly. We start talking for awhile and I start wondering what is taking so long. "Hey let's go over to that tree, more shade and stuff." I say. We get up and head over the tree and sit down. We talk for about an hour until we all fall asleep.

"Aww look at the little greasers sleep." I wake up to hear a Soc tease. I look over to see Johnny on my shoulder and I look down to see Ponyboy with his head in my lap. "What do you want?" I say looking up to see three Socs I know. I stand up and reach into my back pocket, that's where my blade is, just in case.  "Nothing much, Just wondering what your doing alone." The one named Josh says. "She's not alone." I hear Johnny say. "And if you're looking for a fight we'll give you one...Who are these people?" Ponyboy asks adding to Johnny's threat. "This is Josh, Andrew and Emily. My so called friends, but I guess reputation is more important than friends." I say bitterly. "A fight could be fun." Emily says. "Oh really?" I ask. "Really." Emily says swinging a punch. I look over to see that Josh has Ponyboy pinned down. Who could of guessed that my old crush would be beating up my new one...wait did I just call Ponyboy my crush. I was snapped out of my thoughts by Johnny's screams. "HELP!!" Johnny screams. I look over to see him pinned against a tree by Andrew. No! Not Johnny! Not twice in one day! Without thinking I did something I never thought I would do. I flipped out my switch. Emily backed up immediately and Josh got off of Ponyboy. The only one who didn't see was Andrew. "Get. Away. From. Him. Now." I say in a low threatening voice. Andrew looks up and immediately steps away from Johnny. "Now get out of here." I say taking a step closer. They all look at me turn around and start running. "Wow you're so cool." Johnny and Ponyboy both say. "I know. Look at 'em run! I say laughing. "Thanks for saving me again Ponyboy." Johnny says looking at me. "Johnny I really hope your being funny, otherwise you're real stupid." I say laughing. Ponyboy looks at us confused. "It's a long story..." I say looking at Ponyboy. I put away my switch. When I see the others coming, I never told my friends about it. "Woah what did you three get up to while we where gone!" Presley says. "Socs." Ponyboy, Johnny and I all say rolling our eyes. "Ok that sounds fun..." Presley says. "Hey let's go to my house and watch IT! I wanna see my bae Richie!" Oceanna says running off. "Come on let's go." I say with sigh. I grab Johnny and Ponyboy's hands and start running.
