I chase Ponyboy around for a bit until I finally catch up to him, takle him to the ground, and mess up his hair. "Ha! Gotcha loser." I say triumphantly. "Ok ok! I get it! Can you get off of my back now?" He asks looking up at me. "Oh yeah sorry!" I say getting up. "So do you wanna go back?" He asks. "No I like the fresh air." I say smiling. "Oh ok I'll head back I guess...you said you wanted to be alone." He said sadly walking away. "Ponyboy wait! Don't go I like talking to you!" I say back. "R-really?" He questions. "Really." I say back. "Oh no here comes trouble..." Ponyboy says seeing some Socs. "Uh here let's climb that tree!" I say grabbing the first branch. We get in tree and just in time, we look down to see the Socs looking around for us. "Where did they go!? I swear Randy I saw them!" One shouts. "I know Bob! I saw them! One boy one girl!" Randy said back. "Yeah! And the girl had a really weird logo on the back of her shirt." Bob said.

"Hey get out of here! This is our side of town!" A familiar voice shots. I look through the leafs to see the gang running toward Bob and Randy. Ha! Look at those Stupid Socs run! "Gosh I swore they would be here!" I hear Soda say. "Gosh Pony! Looks like everyone is to stupid to look up!" I say looking at Ponyboy. We both start laughing super hard when all of the gang look up at us. We jump out of the tree and look at everyone still laughing. "What where you two think running out without telling no one?" Darry asked mad. "Yeah! Y'all dating, we all know just tell us if you're going on a date!" Steve says. "Shut up Steve!" Ponyboy and I say together. "Yeah! Shut up Steve! So we can watch the show!" Soda says laughing.
I just roll my eyes, but I look over at Ponyboy to see him Blushing? Weird. "Guys! We left Johnny alone! What if he wakes up!?" I say. "He'll think we left him...come on we got to get home." Ponyboy says running. I run after him catching up staying next to him. Glad I did Cross Country! We get close to the Curtis house. I run ahead of Ponyboy and burst through the door. "Johnny?" I call out. No response. "Johnny?!" I say louder. No response. That's when I see him. Curled in a ball crying in the corner. "Johnny!" I saw running over to him. I sit down next to him. "Johnny? Are you ok?" I ask softly. "P-ponyboy?" He asks. "No Johnny it's me, Kody. What is with you mistaken me with Ponyboy?" I say trying to cheer him up.  "S-sorry I'm just scared." He wispers. "Oh it's ok Johnny!" I pick him up and lay him in my lap. "Now what's wrong?" I say looking at him and smiling. "I-I don't know I uh I guess I thought you guys left me..." He says in between sniffils. "Oh I'm sorry Johnny! This is my fault. I needed fresh air so I left without telling anyone and Ponyboy followed me. The rest came looking for us!" I say. "I-its o-ok." He says still having a few tears fall. I rub his back lightly calming him down and I feel someone looking at me. I look up to see everyone staring at us. Johnny looks up and gets up quickly, going red from embarrassment. Ponyboy pulls me up and hugs me and I hug him back. "You really help the gang." He says. Soda, Presley, Oceanna, and Johnny join the hug. Then Darry, Steve and Two-bit. And last but not least Dallas. Then we all black out and fall to the ground. We wake up about an hour later in field that I know oh to well. "Where are we?" Ponyboy asked "Boys, welcome to the 21st century." I say smiling.
