No one knows that their about to be jumped, until they see a soc car pull up beside them. Well at this moment Miranda was just enjoying herself by walking in the park. She wasn't​ too worried about being jumped, greasy girls being jumped is uncommen. But boy was she wrong. Panic went though her as she saw a blue mustang pull of beside her and about four socs, she saw that one if them was Bob Sheldon from her science class.

"Well hello there" Bob smeared.

"Hi" Miranda said back shyly.

"Why do shy? Greaser"  Bob again smeared.

"Please leave me alone" she begged.

"Nope" Bob laughed "Get her Randy"

Miranda tried to run, her blue-grey eyes blazed with fear. But one of the socs pulled her by her gold brown hair and pushed her to the ground. All of them started to kick her and call her nasty names, Miranda started to black out from all the pain, when she her yelling.

When Miranda came though. She was in one of the Curtis brothers beds. Drizzly, she put a shaky hands on her head, hearing a ringing sound. Knowing the ringing came from her passing out. Trying to move her other hand, she realized she couldn't so she slowly turned her head, seeing Ponyboy in a chair beside the bed, with his head on the bed sleeping while he held her soft hand.

"Ponyboy" Miranda called out.

"What?" Pony shot up with puffy eyes "are you ok?"

" I think so. Have you been crying?" She asked.

"Uhh. Yeah" Pony replied.

"Why?" She asked.

"I thought I was going to loose you"explained Ponyboy.

"Oh" Miranda replied.

"I really like you, and not as as friend" Pony confessed.

"Me too" Miranda smiled.

This caused Ponyboy to smile too.
