After me and Rarity successfully made it to the last room leading outside, we slowly removed our gas mask, checking if the scent of the deadly spores are still around us afterwards.

When it was clear for us, Rarity placed her mask back in her bag before peeking into the steel door's small hole to check outside.

We already know that this place is another safe district for survivors, but when we saw that mysterious Rainbow haired girl, we cant be too sure.

Other than that, Feather Bangs' men could be lurking around the premises. That asshole knows were after him and he's sending his thugs for us. What a coward.

My lover chuckled, tucking her purple hair behind her ears before taking a deep breath. Finally she knocked on the door and took a step back.

While waiting for someone to answer the door, I slowly ready my hand close to my gun in case we get ambush again like last time.

Seconds later, the door slowly creaked open, only for us to see a crying kid.

"Hey sweetie, you okay?" Rarity asked with that warm smile of hers, kneeling down to match the kid's height.

"Why are ya cryin'?" I asked after I placed a wheat stick on my bag. placing on the mouth.

The boy just nodded its head 'yes' to answer our question while wiping her tears.

Rarity then took something from her bag and showed it the poor boy.

"You okay? Want this?" She asked while showing him a chocolate bar.

He giggled, reaching his hand in to grab the snack from Rarity's hands. "Yes please!"

But before the kid could even get it, Rarity quickly stand back straight and raised the chocolate higher.

She chuckled. "Tell me first, what happened to you?"

The boy sniffed and looked up to face my girlfriend's face.

"There was this Rainbow haired jerk! She stole my food.."

"Rainbow haired girl?" I started, looking at my lover. "It looks like she went this way."

Rarity nodded and smiled, looking down to face the kid after. "Make sure the coast is clear then you can have this."

The boy quickly let out a cheerful smile as he slowly closed the steel door to avoid any suspicion.

"Wow, generous as always." I chuckled, leaning on the desk beside me.

"Oh hush you, we have enough snacks back at camp."

"Yeah but are you sure your gonna give that kid your only snack? I mean you only packed one right?" I asked after arching an eyebrow at her.

"Hm, he might need it more, darling."

"Not just that, Feather ass is expecting us."

My lover giggled and faced me, licking her lips. "Then it will make it more interesting."

"Smart." I replied with a giggle.

Not long after, the kid opened the door again and peaked inside.

"Its clear."

"No soldiers, none of Feather Bang's men?"

He shook his head no, reaching out his hand for the chocolate bar.

"Good boy." Rarity replied while giving the kid her chocolate bar. "Stay safe now, okay?"

"I will, thanks miss." The boy nodded, holding the door open for us.

While making our way outside, I lastly tapped the boy's hair which made him cutely smile back. Seeing the remaining kids left in this humanity really makes me remember the one I had before. She's safe up there, shortie..

As soon we got out, a female voice immediately called Rarity's attention, causing both of us to look back and saw one of our friends.

"Oh hey Rarity!" Sunset started before running up to us. "Applejack."

I waved back. "Howdy Sunset."

Since the outbreak has started, Sunset became one of Appleloosa's deadliest mercenaries and a merchant for gears and guns.

Its a miracle that she survived the blast back at Canterlot. Her girlfriend got injured at the fight but they managed to flee here with us.

"You know I have some new merchandise today, just stole them from the Shadowbolts who ambushed us yesterday." She cheered, advertising again as usual.

"Not now darling."

"But I need sales to-"

"Not. Now. Sunset." I interrupted, stopping in parts to scare her.

"Fine, fine I understand." She chuckled after backing away to her stall. " See you two love bids later. Oh wait!"

"What is it this time?" I turned around.

"If you see a weird colored hair kid running around, tell me"

"W-why?"

"That jerk stole of all my loot, I bet she isn't even around this parts. But hey, she's dead for messing with a gal like me."

"Im sure she will, Sunset. See you later." Rarity replied before grabbing my hand to lead me to the next district exit.

As usual, the people here kept on staring at me and her. This part of Appleloosa has known to be the business or store to all of its survivors. As long if its deadly or edible, you'll find the stuff here.

And not just that, because there is no guards nor security around the place which increases the chances of fighting and chaos. Heck there's even a street fight around the corner right now where they bet their fighters for supplies.

But we all know the major rule around here and if you don't follow that rule, Sunset's gonna kick your ass to the point where you cant even move your body anymore.

Our motto, "If you touch it, you buy it."

It may not seem serious to some people but when your staying at this part of the town, you have to follow its rules by force. Luckily me and Rare stay at another district so yeah.. Were safe.

It only takes a couple of minutes until we make it to the next checkpoint leading the Feather Bang's base. and that checkpoint is the only guarded place in this district.

So when I entered the school bus used as a path for the exit, the armed man quickly pointed his ak-47 at me. It was clear that he bought that gun from Sunset because of its Sunset painted mark in its end.

Like always, I sighed and placed my hands into the air, looking back behind me to look at Rarity.

I don't know why but Rarity became popular in our place. Its probably because of her beauty which I cant argue with.

It makes her well known to all of the civilians, making us excuses sometimes to go out within the perimeter. While me, I just stay silent and protect my lover like everyday.

She's the only one I have.. I cant loose another love one again.

"Hold up cowgirl, state your business."

"Lower your gun partner, I'm just passing by as usual. I'm actually surprised that you still don't recognize me." I replied, rolling my eyes.

"Oh shut up, State your business!"

"Relax Applesplit, she's with me." Rarity interrupted as she placed her arms behind me.

It confuses me, even though I basically grew up in this place, everybody don't seem to recognize as well like Rarity. Is it because Im not as pretty like her? Nah.

The soldier named Applesplit smiled, lowering his gun and placed his arm behind his head.

"Sorry my lady, I didn't know you were with her."

I groaned and pushed him put of the way, taking my lover's hand to pull her out afterwards. "Well now you know, partner."

When me and Rarity finally made it to the end district, there we saw a hooded man guarding a door leading to the back alleyway.

"Hey handsome." Rarity called in a flirtatious tone while grabbing a stack of money in her bag. "Im looking for Feather Bangs, did he come through here?"

"He did, half an hour ago. He went back to his place." The man started, smiling at Rarity and its making me pissed. "He's in there now." He continued after grabbing the money from my girl.

"Thank you kindly my good sir." My girlfriend giggled in a cute tone while placing her finger under the man's chin still walking inside.

As soon we entered the place, I immediately pulled Rarity closer to me, causing her to let out a gasp.

I looked into her eyes, they were shining from the sunlight's reflection. She's still the same old flirtatious Rarity from before. But I know I could never get angry at her. Not now or ever.

"Stop flirting with everyone, Rarity." I said, slightly disturbed.

Rarity just giggled and placed her arm around me. "Oh no need to be jealous Darling, you know its just our way in."

"Yeah but is there any other way|? Instead of flirting with strangers you barely even know."

"Oh hush you!" She started, holding my hand. "You know that your the only one for me, right?"

"Ah know but-" I was cut of when I saw something in the distance.

When I looked to my right, I saw 3 men walking towards us. Rarity then followed my gaze and gasped at the sight, stepping in front of me after.

My lover looked at them in a serious matter. "Lets us through."

The men laughed and faced both me and Rarity. "You ladies need to turn back if you know what's good for you."

"We don't wanna mess with ya'll." I spoke up before pulling Rarity to let her hide behind me. "We just want Feather Bangs. Ya''l don't want to do this."

"Didn't you two hear me? I said turn the f*ck around and leave!"

"We ain't goin anywhere without Feather Bangs."

"B*tch, Im gonna bash your head with a metal pipe unless you turn around and get you dumb ass out of here." The man growled back while grabbing a metal pipe from his friend.

Rarity and Me just stayed silent as we continued looking at the 3 men, still speechless and not noing of what do next.

I was about to grab my gun from my holster when suddenly-

" B A N G !"

A gunshot was fired.. and it went directly into the man's head, sending him to fall on the ground, dead.
