*Applebloom's pov

I was awoken by a loud repeating sound beside me, making me sit up to my bed and look around.. My room? I thought I was downstairs with Applejack?

I just shook my thoughts away as soon I saw my phone was ringing on the nightstand beside me so I just took it and place it on my ear.

"H-hello?" I asked, rubbing my eyes.

"Applebloom, Where's Applejack? I need to talk to her now!"

At first I was shocked to heary brother yell at the telephone with such loud yet.. Panicking voice. But i just figured that he might be tired from all the late night deliveries.

"Big mac? What time is it?"

"No time! I need to talk to your sister now! There's some-"

Suddenly, the phone unexpectedly cut off before Big Macintosh could even finish his sentence.

"Uh Big Mac? Hello?" I asked again but all I hear was a beeping unattended sounds coming from the phone.

"Hm, what was that about?" I muttered in slight confusion.

He probably has a bad signal in his place, I better tell Applejack that he's finding her. So I just crawled out of bed and wore my Jacket since its cold downstairs.

"Applejack? Big sis?" I yelled in the hallways, but no one answered.

But when I noticed that the bathroom door was opened, I decided to peek in, still hoping to find my sister even though she's doing her business inside.

But instead of finding her, I saw a news paper on top of the counter which has mysterious red stains all over it.

"That's weird.." I chuckled before grabbing the paper to take a look at it.

*Tragedy strikes at area hospital around Equestria!*

300% increase due to mysterious infections

The government is now closing down the city of Canterlot and making everyone stay safe in their homes as a mysterious yet unknown virus ravages local hospital location, making all of the sick patients behave menacingly and viscous.

After reading some of the article, I placed back the paper down on the counter, thinking to myself that this is another fake news that my sister told me about.

"Wow.. Such a bunch of loosers. They think they can make the people believe something like this?" I chuckled after stepping outside the bathroom.

After I took a few steps into the hallways, I noticed that my sister's door was slightly open while a flashing light shines from inside the room.

I then slowly walked up to the front, fully opening the door with one push on my hand after.

"Big sis? You in here?" I yelled again.

But again, she wasn't in here. But what strange is her television is still open and the news channel were on live.

"We've received reports that victims afflicted in the infection shows signs of increased aggression in the local hospital of Canterlot"

"Wait.. That's near by." I gasped while walking towards the window.

"Hey get out of here now there's a gas leak and- HEY GET OUT OF HERE!" Another man yelled from the broadcast.

"There seems to be a commotion coming from behind me-"

"GET THE HELL ARE OUT HERE RIGHT-"

" B O O M !"

"Ahhh!" I screamed in shock when an explosion went off in the news broadcast.

But what shocked me the most is when that exact time, I saw another explosion happened near us from the window.

"W-was it the same.. One from the news? No it can't be.."

Continues sounds of sirens and dogs barking from outside was getting louder as the smoke from the explosion spread into the dark skies.

"Applejack?!" I cried in a panicking tone while backing away from the window.

I then slowly made my way downstairs to while yelling both my brother's and sister's names multiple times.

"What's going on?"

But when I saw 3 police cars drove in full speed outside our house, I immediately ran to the screen door in our backyard.

"Big sis?!" I screamed before peeking outside the door.

"R I N G! "

As soon I heard another phone ring, I slowly backed away from the screen door, walking up to the kitchen counter afterwards to grab the phone.

"Applejack left her phone? Wait.. 16 missed calls?

'Where the hell are you? Call me' -Big McIntosh."

"Im on my way, protect Applebloom!" -Big McIntosh.

"Okay this is getting pretty messed up.. Applejack where are you?!"

After placing the phone down, I immediately ran into the other room to check the other screen door that leads to our backyard.

Moments later, my sister rushed inside and locked the door shut, causing to scream in shock.

"AHH! A-applejack?

"Oh f*ck.. You okay sugarcube?"

I was just speechless and shocked as I kept on looking at her. She had blood all over her shirt, she was panting short fast breaths.. And she was holding a gun in her hand.

"I-is that a shotgun..?" I nervously asked, stuttering in some parts.

"Sugarcube.. I can explain, are you okay?!"

"Yeah Im okay.. How about you?"

"Did someone come in here?" She growled after placing the double barreled gun in the table, still ignoring my question.

"No why would anybody come in here? What's happening? Why do you have a gun?!"

"I'll tell ya later Applebloom.. Just please stay away from the door!"

"Big sis your kinda freaking me out, what the hell is going on please tell me!"

"I-its the people.. Something aint right about them, I think their sick."

"What kinda sick? Is it about the article in the news- AHH!" I was cut off when a strange figure rams its head into the closed screen door beside us.

"S-sh*t! Come here sugarcube." Applejack immediately yelled as she makes me stand behind her.

"Otavia.. No stay back!" She cried while pointing her shut gun at her.

"What are you doing?! Your not gonna shoot your friend!"

"Its not her! She's infe-"

"S M A S H!"

Me and my sister screamed in terror as Octavia ramed its head again into the screen door which made it smash into a thousands of little glass shards.

"F*ck.. B-back away Octavia!"

The bloody black haired teenage girl then looked at us with a huge grin before charging at Applejack with her mouth wide open.

"No, no!" My sister nervously yelled, pointing and shooting the poor girl right in the head.

"AHHH! OH MY GOD!" I screamed while grabbing my sister's shirt to pull her closer to me. "WHAT DID YOU DO?! YOU JUST KILLED HER!"

"Go, go!" She yelled back, grabbing my arm to pull me back into the kitchen.

My whole body was now trembling in pure fear and terror while my sister tried to look into my eyes to calm me.

"Y-you.. Shot her."

"Applebloom.."

"I just saw her this mornin'.. She-"

"Listen to me.. There's something really bad happening going on. We have to get ouuta here, do ya understand me?!"

"But- but where did you get that gun? And why is there blood all over you?! Is that yours?!"

"I met someone outside.. Its not important! We just need to gett outta here.. Where's your brother?"

"Over.. There." I replied in a broken voice, raising and flicking my hand to point a red pick up truck park in front of our lawn.

"Great.. Lets go!" Applejack smiled before pulling me outside.

As soon we got outside, Big McIntosh immediately pulled me into a hug while Applejack ignored him and just went inside the seat beside the driver's seat.

"Where the hell have ya been sis?! Do you even know what's happenin' out there?!"

"No time, just get inside the car!"

"Holy Celestia.. You got blood all over ya!"

"It ain't mine! Now quit talkin' and drive the freaking car!"

"On it.." Big Mac finally agreed after I entered the back seat.

When my big brother started to car's engine, he slowly reversed the car back into the road so we can now make our way to the city.

"People in the city have lost their minds! They almost got me while I was on my way to my girlfriend.."

"C-can you just hurry it up.."

"I think this is the virus from 10 years ago.. But why is it only affecting people now?!"

"I dont know okay?! Just drive faster goddammit Big Mac!"

"Woah, Applejack! Calm down.. Now tell me what the hell happened back there?"

"Later.. Just drive us to my girl's place. I need to see her now!"

"S-sure." Big Mac started, turning his attention to me afterwards. "Heya lil sis.. You okay? Did someone hurt you?"

"No.. Im fine, can we hear what's on the radio?"

"Yeah, sure thing." He replied before turning on the radio.

"T-thanks.."

But when the radio started to make only a static glitch noise, Applejack quickly slammed both her hands on the front, out of anger.

"Goddammit! The cellphones, radios, and televisions wont work.. And now I cant even contact my own girlfriend!"

"Relax big sis.. Im sure she'll be fine, did they say a location to you big mac?" I asked while placing my hand on my sister's shoulder.

"Yeah.. They told us that the cloudsdale army are gonna put up sone road blocks on the highway and that means they're gonna gather all the people there."

"Then how the hell we'll we go there if they blocked the freaking road?!"

"I.. I don't know, lets just take the way through Appleloosa and ponyville. I heard they have another way to Cloudsdale."

"G-great.. Did they say how mant died?" I asked while looking outside the window.

"Probably a lot, I saw one family member butchered and kill all of his-"

"Big Mac please.." Applejack growled, wiping her tears away.

"R-right.. Im sorry."

"How did this crap even started?" Applejack asked, still trying to dial her lover's number in Big Mac's phone.

"We have no clue.. But for me, I think this is the unknown virus from before.."

"But that only have people a flu and coughs.. Why did it turned into this?" I cried after watching dozens of police cars passed us by in full speed.

"I have no idea sis.. Just calm down, no need to- What the hell?" Big Mac was cut off when he saw something burning in the distance.

"Holy Sh*t.. That's the pear's farm.."

"But why is it burning?!"

"Just.. Look away Applebloom, lets just hope they made it out."

After Big Mac made a turn to the right, I saw some of the tall buildings in the city were destroyed and burning with high flames like in the pear's barn.

"A-are we sick?" I asked in a nervous tone.

"What? No sugarcube aren't sick.."

"How do you know?"

"They say it only infected the people in the city so.. Yeah were fine."

"Wait, did Auntie Octavia worked in the City?"

"Yeah she did.. Hold up!" Applejack gasped when she saw a family waving their hands at us.

"Help!" They yelled.

"We gotta help them.." My bother said while slowing down the car.

"No.. Big Mac just drive!"

"But they have a kid Applejack!"

"So do we! Now keep drivin!"

'NOO PLEASE STOP!" The couple yelled at us but their voices slowly faded away when we got far from them.

It hurts me to see Applejack like this, she's always the kind of person to help a person in need but why didn't we stopped for them? Is it because.. She seen some bad things happen?

"We should have help them big sis.."

"Forget them sugarcube.. Somebody else can help them."

"Why are there red lights.. Oh hell no this cant be happening!" Big Macintosh gasped.

There was thousands of cars heading through the bridge and it wasn't moving at all. I guess they all had the same idea of heading into Appleoosa.

Suddenly, a man stepped out of his car and started to yell at the car in front of him.

"Hey come on what the hell man?!- AHHH!" He screamed in pure terror when-

Two people dressed in a blue hospital gown  jumped at the poor man, tearing and biting his skin off which made me and Applejack scream.

"AHHHH!" I screamed, covering my eyes afterwards.

"Big mac.. Turn this car around.." Applejack muttered while tapping my brother's shoulder, still watching the man get eaten alive.

"BIG MAC CAN YOU HEAR ME?! I SAID LETS GO!"

"Holy sh*t!" My bother screamed as soon one of the blood thirsty creatures turned their attention to us.

"F*ck just drive already!"

Big Mac then immediately stepped on the reverse pedal and drove the other way before those.. Monsters can even get to us!

"What the hell just happened?! Did you see that?!"

"Yeah I saw it.. Goddammit turn right over here!" Applejack yelled back, pointing her finger to a road to our right.

But when we turned, we saw dozens of people were running and scattering around the streets in a panic.

"No, no, no.. Move already!"

"W-what are they running from?"

"Lets just get outta here Big Mac, quick!"

"Im tryin' Aj!"

"We can't just stop here Big Mac.."

"I CANT F*CKIN' DRIVE THROUGH EM' APPLEJACK!"

"Then back up the freaking car!"

"I cant! There's people behind me too!"

"T-there, there their gone!" Applejack yelled.

When Big Mac finally continued driving back to the road, I noticed a bright light coming to our right.

My eyes widened in complete shock when i realized it was a huge truck heading towards us in full speed.

"LOOK OUT BIG MAC!"

"C R A S H !"

And just like that.. My vision went darker..
