With the silence surrounding us in the room, the Rainbow haired teen just stayed silent after hearing my question. 

Instead of replying back, she suddenly turned to her back and started to roam around the apartment, leaving my question unanswered. 

I titled my head to look at her in a state of confusion, sadly she didn't look back. I just sighed and placed both my hands to the back of my head, resting my head on a pillow afterwards. 

While the kid started to roam around the place, I quickly took the chance to grab something important from my bag. 

After I pulled it out, a weak smile formed in my face when I saw the most beautiful girl with a curly purple hair in the photograph. 

And beside her was the rest of our friends. This photo was taken long before this pandemic started, some of them are still with us and others went missing. 

I miss them, its a shame that I lost some of them. But the present is all it matters, I cant return back to the past.. I can only tell its story to others. 

Letting out a sigh, I closed my eyes and began to think some thoughts to catch my sleep. 

With Rarity still in my mind, my anxiety for her safety grew even more. Who knows what could she be doing with Spitfire. 

But knowing Spitfire since high school, I know she can protect Rarity.. I entrusted her to do it as I do the same thing for her with this stranger. 

"Hey what'ya got there?" A familiar voice asked from behind, making me jump in shock. 

I then turned around and saw Rainbow Dash, she was still staring at the small photograph in my hand. 

"H-hey.." I greeted, shoving my picture back to my bag.  "How long have you been standing there?" 

"Not long enough but.." She started, moving closer to get my bag. "Let me just-" 

"Hey!" I yelled back, seating up from the couch to grab my bag from her. "Hey give that back!" 

She smirked and ran to the corner of the room. "Hey if Im gonna be stuck here with your for hours then at least entertain me with something." 

"Im gonna throw your ass out of this building if you don't give that back right now!" 

She moved her head, saying 'no' "Chill out cowgirl." Rainbow added before seating down on the floor. "Let's see what do we have here." 

I just groaned and laid down again in the couch, watching the stranger check my things. "If you take or steal something, I swear in Celestia's grave your so dead." 

"Don't worry, I wont." She winked. 

While I watch Rainbow Dash check my things out, my eyes suddenly became heavier as a tired yawn escaped my mouth. 

So I just closed my eyes and shifted my weight to find a comfortable sleeping position in the worn out coach. 

"So.. About my question." I chuckled, still closing my eyes. 

"About Spitfire?" She asked, sounding confused. 

I opened one eye and looked at her. "Yeah, why are you even with that gal?" 

Rainbow paused for a second, placing down my box of biscuits. "S-she's my friend.. I guess." 

I chuckled. "Your friends with the co-leader of the Shadowbolts, what are you, 12 or somethin'?" 

"Oh haha very funny cowgirl." Rainbow laughed sarcastically. "I already told you Im 17. And.. she knew my mom, she took care of me when our town's hospital center blew up." 

"But where are you parents? They should be looking after you, not Fire-ass." 

Rainbow sighed after taking out the same picture inside my bag. "Where are everybody's parents? They're long gone cowgirl, even my sister." 

"I-Im.. Im so sorry to hear that.." I replied with a weak tone in my voice.

"Relax Apples, its okay." She started, staring at the photograph. "At least you still have your friends with you.." 

"Well, not all of them. I lost my best friend.. I watched that boy die right in front of me.." I muttered. 

"Im sorry.." She sighed. "I bet he was a good friend to you."  Rainbow added sincerely. 

I giggled. "He was. Spike was a good kid. Its a shame that he has to go so early.." I continued as my eyes started to tear up.

"H-hey.." I heard Rainbow mutter. "Don't cry dumbass, its gonna make things more awkward between us." 

I just smiled weakly and faced her. "Right.can ya please stop touching my stuff now? You might have the virus, dear Celestia you might infect me." I joked with a laugh. 

"Oh shut up you, I ain't positive nor bitten." She rolled her eyes while returning back my stuff to my bag. 

When suddenly, she paused and grabbed something inside my bag, causing a small smile form in her face. 

"Hey, you actually kept it.." She giggled as she pulled out the box of ammunition that she gave me from our first encounter. 

"Of course I kept it. People this days will just kill each other for food and supplies.. But you, you still helped me from that mutated.:"

"Its because you and the purple haired girl look so hopeless. Heck, If I didn't help you two then your probably dead by now." 

I rolled my eyes and flicked my middle finger at her. "Geez, thanks a lot, kiddo." I added, sarcastically. 

"And your welcome, asshole." She answered with a cute teasing smile. 

After she finished returning all of my stuff back to my bag, she zipped it close before grabbing to on the ground, throwing it to my face afterwards. 

Luckily I caught it before it slammed onto my face, placing it right beside me afterwards. 

"Make room, cowgirl." She smirked. 

I raised an eyebrow at her. "No way, kid. This is my spot. Go find somewhere to sleep." 

"Rude.." Rainbow scoffed before walking away. 

While watching her walk away, I noticed that she kept covering her lower right part of her arm. It seem to be covered in a bloody cloth as blood stains slowly dripped down the ground. 

"H-hey.." I called, making her stop walking to face at me. "Your arm.. Its bleeding!" 

She smiled weakly and hid her arm behind her. "Its nothing Apples, Its just a scar." 

"Come here!" I started, grabbing a med kit on my bag. "We need to replace that tore cloth with a new one!" 

"Look, Applejuice. I know your just acting so concern just to make me spill the truth about why Spitfire's ordering you to smuggle me out of this hell hole of a town." She replied, sounding slightly disturbed. 

"No.. Come on, Rainbow. Your arm is really bleeding badly! Where did you even get that?" 

"Its none of your business!" She yelled back while running out of the room after, leaving me in the living room, alone. 

I just sighed and ignored her. laying back down to finally catch my sleep. 

As I slowly closed my eyes, I can hear the rainbow haired teen grunting and yelling out of pain. 

As much as I wanted to help her out, I realize that she was just a stranger I met today. Not to mention she also interfere with our business with Feather Bangs. 

She's just a stranger, a troublemaker, and a idiotic kid. I should not worry much about her. Besides, she's old enough to protect herself. 

All I have to do is deliver to the Shadowbolt team in the other side of this town, it might take days or weeks but its better to strike at night. 

"ARGHH!" She loudly screamed out of pain. 

"You okay in there, Rainbow Dash?" I nervously asked. 

No one answered to my question. But after a few minutes, she finally walked out of the kitchen and back to the living room. 

She was still holding her injured arm as a new dirty cloth was wrapped around it. 

When I was about to invite her to the couch, she suddenly sat down on the floor and rested her head on a wooden stool. 

"You okay, partner?" I asked after letting out a yawn. 

"Yeah.." She answered. "Im still not gonna tell you the reason. So stop pleasing me." 

I laughed "I.. I haven't asked you anything yet, idiot." 

With my eyes still heavy, I forced myself to seat back up and moved to my right to make some space beside me. 

"Alright, get ova here." I chuckled while rubbing my eyes. 

"Huh?" 

"I told you to rest beside me, this couch is big enough for the two of us." I added with a weak smile. 

She tilted her head and stared at me in confusion. "But you told me you were gonna stay there.. Look, you should really rest, cowgirl. You look like sh*t right now." 

"Oh screw you." 

"Screw you too gorgeous but I'm damn fine sleeping on the floor. You need more rest than I do." 

I rolled my eyes. "Shut yer mouth and just come here, dumbass." 

I then placed my hand on the armrest, resting my head on my palm. "Its cold in the ground, your back might get hurt. Now don't be a dumbass and just follow me." 

She groaned, standing up from the ground. "Ugh.. Whatever you say. Your the boss after all." 

After Rainbow walked towards my side, I slowly moved a little bit away from her. She just smiled before seating down next to me. 

"T-thanks.." She giggled while looking into my eyes. 

I didn't look back nor replied to her. Even though I tried my best to look away from her magenta eyes, I managed to see a glimpse of them when I turned around to check the door. 

It was only an accident, but when our eyes met for a quick second, my heart suddenly skipped a beat as a burning felling came up to my cheeks. 

Same as her, she let out a cute chuckle as her cheeks began to redden. That damn smile of hers, I wonder why are they making me feel so wierd?

After a few minutes of awkward silence, I kept fighting my tiredness to make myself stay awake. 

Who knows what this girl could do as soon I fall into my sleep? Heck, she might try to escape and burn this building to the ground with me still in it.

I can never trust this girl, I just met her today and she already has a bad reputation in this district. 

Aside from that, I have to protect her from any other infected and bounty hunters after her posted bounty, especially Sunset Shimmer. 

Finally. I broke the silence. 

"So.. Instead of staying in school. You decided to join the Shadowbolts?" 

She chuckled after doing the same position as me in the opposite side of the coach's armrest. 

"Im not one of them. Its just a coincidence that my friend was one of them." 

"And that's Spitfire, right?" I asked with a weak laugh. 

She nodded her head. "Yeah, I'm surprised she hasn't killed you or your.. G-girlfriend yet." Rainbow added. 

"Well, we had a little deal back then. So whenever we see her and her team during our cargo missions, they'll always initiate retreat." 

"Retreat? Your lying. Spitfire is the most toughest soldier I met since this outbreak started, there's no f*cking way she'll just retreat like that!" 

"Oh shut yer mouth kid, you better get some sleep.. We just have to wait for my girlfriend's signal." 

The stranger smirked. "Girlfriend? So you're lesbian or something?" 

"Probably, but I always considered myself as a bisexual." I answered her question. " It ain't weird at all, right?" 

"N-no! Not at all!" Rainbow nervously replied, placing her hand behind her head. "If your Bi, then it means you must like boys and girls, right?" 

"No dumbass it means I f*ck bicycles." I sarcastically said with an emotionless look.

"Wait, seriously?!" She asked as a huge grin formed in her face, looking kind of surprised yet so amazed. 

"How dumb are you?" 

"Really dumb. But I think your dumber." 

"Oh shut up." I lastly said before closing my eyes, hoping to catch my sleep before this kid pisses me off. 

And just like that, I was quickly knocked out.
